Hello, my plan is to make a battle szene with mortesv Nebulon B and the Correlian Corvette, both are scale 250:1 And this is the problem, a "in scale" 1600m Star destroyer would be 640cm long. Far more space and bricks i can effort. So im building simultaneously in LDD and real the nose and just the nose of a Star destroyer. The greebling height is aproximately 12Studs in this scale. Picture quality of the studio model is rare if someone has a good reference i would appreciate if you could share the link. Found plenty of different versions of greebling around the star destroyer. To make things a little bit more comlicated i try to design this as an alternate build of the 10030 and use only the original parts. This will cause a few compromises. This is the actual progress in LDD AND real bricks.

Hello, while waiting for hoth i build the ISD last month. This is a really massive build considering the retail price of 299$ in 2002. Huge value for the money. time to share some pictures. Colour - light gray and dark gray, also invisible parts have the correct color based on peeron inventory. Panel mounting - Magnets. There are some ridiculous part prices for the magnet mounts 30159, i should get the 3D printed substitutions in the next weeks. [Movie Scene] Millenium Falcon docks Imperial Star Destroyer

I was able to purchase the brand-new and very rare Lego Nanofighter 0.0000007965 Millenium Falcon !! The size of this new nanofighter fits exactly to the scale of the 10030 Imperial Star Destroyer. So my goal was to rebuild the famous Star Wars Scene from Episode V when Han Solo docks the Millenium Falcon to the Star Destroyer. Luckily I own 3 sets of 10030 as well as one set of 10221 Super Star Destroyer. So I was able to setup this movie scene in real life. As you can imagine, it was quite a bit fiddly to assemble this nanofighter. Especially assembling the laser cannons was a challenge. However, by using a magnifying glass and a pair of tweezers I was able to accomplish this mission. Have fun! original movie scene: Remake: Hi-Res Image
