  1. I would love it if the presentation was shifted. After all, cars is my thang... I couldn’t provide you with a picture if I wanted - I’m on a weekend concert tour (that’s the reason for not arriving before) and won’t physically be anywhere near my entry until late Sunday evening. But if it can’t be changed, I’ll live
  2. I won’t arrive with my car until Monday morning...

Last minute request... does anybody have a spare one of these...? You will be handsomely rewarded for bringing one (preferably new, or at least without visible wear)...

The set is still in production, as far as I know, and it’s unmistakably light bluish gray.

I just found out that my local Education dealer is selling set 9286 at 311 NOK, which is 33€. That’s not too shabby for 2 old-fashioned green 32x32 baseplates, 1 blue 32x32 baseplate and 1 light bluish gray 48x48 baseplate. If anybody’s interested at that price, I can get some tomorrow morning, but not after that.

This part clearly forms a figure of eight in your picture - which is dividable by 4! It also has the four letters L E G O clearly visible in the picture... ...aaaaand the thickness of the ring itself, measured across the top, is roughly 4 millimetres.

I found your mudguards, @LegoFjotten, but I see Holodoc's got your back :) The salad of numbers are the issues. He's missing issues #1, #2, #9, #10, #11, #12, and #13 - the ones that are pictured ;)

Arrrrghh. I had all the issues... but I donated them to the auction at our annual LUG event last year. Maybe I still have something around - if I do I'll let you know. I know I had doubles of some of these. Quite possibly! I'll check when I get home from work in a couple of hours.

It's difficult to know what you consider a 'fair' price if BrickLink doesn't give you an indication... I'd consider letting them go at 650 DKK (they were 400 when on sale at the airport, but only if you bought less than three - if not, they would set you back 800 per box). I'd also have to check how many I actually have... Yes - you can have it for 25€.

This is one of six LEGO moulded fully-grown System horses produced: 93083, 4493, 6171, 10352 (this one), Bullseye from Toy Story, and the Scala horse. It also first turned up in a set six years ago - in 2012. And - I'm not with my LEGO collection at the moment, so I can't check... but if there's an anti-stud under its left front hoof, it has a total of six stud connection points: One under each hoof, and two for the saddle. Finally, I think the horse itself might, at the factory, be put together from six different moulds: Left and right side of the head, left and right side of the body, and left and right side of the legs.

Thank you so much! I will remember you when I write my memoirs :) Sending you a PM with a price suggestion for the two sets you wanted, minus the cost for this.

OK - I'm in desperate need for one specific part for my competition entry. Does anybody have one of these: https://www.bricklink.com/v2/catalog/catalogitem.page?P=30044#T=C ...in black? It seems to be relatively rare, only existed in two Western sets. Normally I'd just have bought one on BrickLink, but the event is only about a week off... if nobody answers within a day or so, I'll try to order one. Can I then have it shipped to any of you - say, in Germany or so? It'll arrive much quicker. There's quite a few sellers that have them.

Hey, it’s Holodoc’s competition, he gets to decide how he distributes the points ?

Really? There were none in March. Must have found another batch then... I’ll have a look at the BL prices, @elleana, and then you can decide whether you’ll take your chances :) I’m not aiming to make a lot of money, so we should be able to come to an arrangement.
  17. Noted. So you do not want me to build a truck
  18. Alright - a question. Do you want cars that are strictly six-wide (although the Bugatti is wider, if you count the mudguards) or do you want them in the Speed Champions scale? The Ford F-150 from set 75875 (the same that the hot rod came in) is eight wide, for example. I'm considering something that is easily the same width as the real-life F-150. Would eight-wide then be possible? As long as it is to scale with the other Speed Champions cars...?

Looooong list coming up... there's a lot that I could potentially get rid of. I moved to a bigger apartment in December and I'm just now starting to get a grip on how much stuff I've got - and some of it certainly has to go. So let's use Bricklink as a starting point for value, and then I'll offer a nice Eurobricks discount. Skalldyr: Could I also have a red set, please?
  21. I don't know if you want this in this topic too or not, but Eiker86 has booked a four-bed Lalandia cabin for himself, myself, Lego Fjotten and Quarryman.
  22. I can confirm that myself, eiker86, Lego Fjotten and Quarryman have booked accommodation and will be coming. I might not arrive until Sunday evening, but it’s a bit early to tell yet. Looking forward to seeing you again!
  23. Not these ones, they're not - they're in the LEGOLAND Holiday Village Pirates' Inn Motel. There are pirate rooms in the hotel as well, but they're a lot fancier (and much more expensive). I suspect we might end up at the Svanen, which is just next door. I'm not particularly keen on those cabins, they're just too claustrophobic for me (said the spoilt little brat). Either way, if I've understood this correctly, I'll be 'room responsible' for Quarryman, LegoFjotten, eiker86 and myself.
  24. Signing up! Probably won’t make it there until Sunday evening, but will be there for the majority of the fun. Planning to share a Norwegian room with eiker86, LegoFjotten and Quarryman. Just talked to the Holiday Village booking office, and they said we’d need to book an 8-person room for four adult men. But they obviously don’t all agree on this, so we’ll try to sneak into a 5-person room (because the 8-person room is more than 1200€ for four nights). Apparently, the bunk beds aren’t for adults. Luckily we’re all tiny and super slim.

    Monorail, will it return?

I've heard that same story from several people, including LEGO designers I know, but nobody have ever said anything about actual prototypes. These responses from children came from test groups, so I think it's more likely that the children responded to drawings and concept art.
