Bad news... http://www.flickr.com/photos/fbtbnet/44278...in/photostream/ Granted that this is the final set picture, Ostrich Race no longer includes a bare torso! Why TLG?!!
-
I vote Riddler! (Sorry, Penguin! ) Nolan could do an amazing job with the Riddler character.
-
Yes, but Star Wars has a TV show running at the moment, and plenty of books released each year. But still, fingers crossed for another HP wave. But if this is indeed the end of the theme, at least it is a far nicer send-off than that 2007 Order of the Phoenix castle.

I hope that won't be the case. But surely LEGO will realise we want a monorail? They have to be at least be considering it, otherwise they would never have put it in the drawing.
-
Ten?! Wow, didn't notice that! Anyway, I think LEGO are trying to cram as much as possible into these sets (unfortunately that's another suggestion this is the last wave). Eg. The train set has Luna, Draco and Ginny for the Half Blood Prince nose-breaking scene, and also has the flying car from Chamber of Secrets.

I guess so. Theres no harm in hoping, at least. Welll...the last film is bound to get people excited (Kind of like all the hype that surrounded Indy 4) and earn an absolute ton of cash, so maybe LEGO will keep the licence a bit longer?

Sadly, I think this is the last wave of LEGO Harry Potter we will ever see. They come out October, in time for Deathly Hallows Part 1. Part 2 will be out June/July 2011 I think? Can't remember. But anyway, theres not much time for the designers to make new sets in between them, and after Part 2, both the books and films are over... As for Hagrids hut, I agree, it does look nice. I'm certainly getting it for Ron (I don't intend to buy the train either, I have the old one) and Hagrid. Also for Hermione if she isn't in the Hogwarts set, but I think she is??

Hi Big Cam, I'm just like you. I was afraid of trying it for a long time, but tried it recently. Arms are fine to take off, but they're a little difficult to get back on the figure. I wouldn't recommend removing the legs at all, though.

I hope not, that would be a pain. You know, I was thinking, have TLG been planning this Star Wars revamp for a while now? It seems odd to me that minifigs have suddenly got pupils and more detail, and lightsabers have possibly been updated, just after the 10th anniversery. Either way, I don't like it.

Im sceptical on this. Nolan just said in an interview that he was stuck for ideas for Batman, and came up with better ideas for Superman. Now he's working on that instead for the time being. I'm not against Batman 3, I loved the Dark Knight (who didn't?) but I have a feeling it's not such a great idea. Heath Ledger is gone (R.I.P), Nolan doesn't sound overly interested, and just think of the amount of pressure on his hands! It would be Spidey 3 all over again, not actually a bad film but recieved badly because it's successors were amazing. But, please Nolan, prove me wrong!

You're surprised, after all the weird ideas Hollywood is coming up with these days? Seriously, their making a CG Speedy Gonzales, Stretch Armstrong the Movie starring Taylor Lautner ( ) Space Invaders etc! No joke! But in all fairness the film looks fairly decent. Pity the real Mr.T isn't in it, though.

I really hope you're right, the wands we have now are way too long. I also wish they had have made Harrys hair a little shorter (It's almost the size of a minifig head, so it's out of proportion) but the sets look pretty final to me.

Thanks for the picture, Darth Legolas! Great that it has Kit! (I now have absolutely no reason to buy the ARC!) Will the book be availible on shop at home?
-
Sounds better everytime you say it, doesn't it?
-
Congrats! Very good animation, it ran very smooth! Keep it up!

Hello! Right...well, Ive been lurking around here for a while (great site), and finally bothered to register. So, here I am. As you can tell, I love movies. I collect minifigs and LEGO sets (which I never have the guts to tear apart). I am a terrible MOCer, so don't expect any masterpieces from me. I'm looking forward to meeting you all! FilmGirl27

Thanks for the welcome, everyone! I don't yet have a Youtube account (I'm waiting until Im done the film), so I cant show you, but I do have a few other films. -
Thanks for the news, lightningtiger! Now all we can do is wait and see what the set will have.

Brilliant work, Jammiedodger714! Keep it up!

Wonderful work, Kubik-Rubik! And lol at the last picture. Keep up the good work!

Slave 1 looks B-E-Autiful! The rest I'm passing, though.

Which movies can you watch over and over again?

I knew Id forgot something! Brilliant film. Jack Black is hilarious -
Oh come on, they wouldn't be that clever/nasty....would they?
-
I might as well post my opinion on these sets... Overall, they're ok. This is definately a one-off theme, unless the Prince of Persia film is a massive success like Pirates of the Carribean (something I highly doubt). Prince of Persia is missing the hilarity of Johnny Depp as a pirate with a weird way of talking.. But anyway, I'm drifting off topic. I like the sets, but they seem kind of bland. I'll pick up The Ostrich Race (for the bare torso) but that's all I think.

Lol, maybe TLG is doing this on purpose just to see if we can figure it out?
