Yes, I agree with this. Also, if necessary, you can put a BURP or a piece of wall behind a minifigure, then focus the camera, and remove the wall before you actually take the picture. That's worked for me sometimes

Greetings! I opened up LDD recently after a while of not using it, and I'm not sure if this is because of an update or not, but here goes.When I select a brick from the palette in Extended Mode, a window pops up and you choose between the colors that piece has been produced in, no others. Then, when I go to select multiple bricks to repaint, I can't do it. Clicking on the paint tool removes the selection. The only way the paint tool is currently working for me is to click on each piece manually and recolor it, again only in a color that's been produced. As a majority IRL moccer who mostly uses LDD for the infinite color/piece feature, I'd really love some help here, and I didn't see anybody who'd had the same problem. Thanks! -

Very nice work on those barrels! I really like the shaping on the alcoves, and the floor is quite well-textured. -
Laketown is decent, but I probably would get the first one before this edition. Smaug's set is way too expensive for my tastes, and Smaug is too unique to use in moccing. Witch king set is just... no. Not paying 15 bucks for three figs and a bit of bricks. Bot5A is a maybe for me. It's not the best build, obviously, but it has some good parts, and the best figs of the series. Dain's helmet is great, and it's a good way for me to get a great eagle without a ton of useless black slopes.

The color scheme for this is absolutely perfect. I can't really praise this more than it already has, but I'm already thinking about a build inspired by this baby. Oh, and +1 for however many credits you want -
Very nice work. The cart design looks really good, and while it's a small detail, the harnesses for the horses look great. +1 on all credits.

In the interest of improving, I'm going to give this a hefty critique. The water looks extremely good, as does the shaping of the waterfall. The colors of the waterfall are off in a few pics, but you might not be able to help that Portions of the rocks look really good, but there are some changes I would make. First off, unless you're showing wet rock, it's generally a bad idea to use bley and grey mixed so close together, because it's easy to get too messy. Because of dirt and such, this rule is generally void for the ground color, and you can sometimes pull off mixing old and new grey/bley, but in real life it's usually just one type of rock in a given location. Also, olive green. I can see where you were coming from by using so much, and it's definitely a good color, but there's so much here it's overpowering. Like dark orange, olive green is terrific as an accent, but because it's so bold, it doesn't turn out well when you add too much to a landscape. I would use sand green, if you have enough, or regular green, and then mix somewhere around 1/3 olive green into that. Hope this helps, or at least gives you some ideas!

Very nice work with the roof rakes. Also, the use of the brown claw pieces as architectural details is great. The spacing of the columns is also solid here.

Thank you! The water took a whole lot of work to keep it working Thanks! It's actually (relatively) easy to redraw minifig faces in GIMP, and it's really useful if you do a lot of storytelling. I'm not saying your idea is bad, if enough people are interested it could be successful. However, I think there's already groups like this on Flickr and MOCpages. Also, if you do start this, I don't see you getting a specific forum for a long time. -
Those Venus-fly traps look really nice here, as do the lime palm leaves. They really set this off from the usual Nocty color scheme.
