LEGO Price checking/Collection on Pricecharting.com

Hello Everybody, I just found that: pricecharting.com now can track LEGO prices and log your collection. I use this sit for tracking of my video game collection. It is a great site. It logs ebay sales to get next to perfect prices that are always fluctuating. Here is the blog: https://blog.pricecharting.com/2023/11/lego-sets-on-pricecharting.html I just started adding my sets. It is new so the data/prices will probably start flowing. There are already lots of prices. And there are probably a lot of sets not there yet, but as a LEGO community we can all add to make the LEGO portion better. I think it is a great idea, and excited to track there value of my LEGO sets, loose, loose with manual and new!! I hope others can use it and enjoy and help add sets/data!!! Just thought I would share. I think its cool! :) -
is there a site somewhere that has higher res pics of the box art? or just pictures of the boxes? amazon has some lower res pics. and brickset has all the newer stuff without the box. anybody?

Hello All, my set 10257 has been in storage for awhile, not much use on it. When setting it back up. The elephant will not go up and down. It looks like the tire/wheel just slides on the tiles instead of rotating. It will stay in the down position. (At times it goes up and down, it is not stuck). Any thoughts?

Anybody else with this issue? Or any ideas? 2 of us have this issue. My thought was because of the weight, the tire slides on the tile and dose not grip. Not sure if its from sag from the outside.. I might try a skinny tire, but not sure what wheels tires are the same diameter. -

I have just done these 2. I got the CC in 2007, recession hit and LEGO was the last thing I could buy... haha I think the CC is doable. What I did with the GG is, I downloaded the LXF file, and messed with colors for the side. You might want to do that if you decide to change the color. :)

looks good! my 2 cents, I feel the 1x2 and 1x4 tile under the windows should be a different color. maybe light grey, or tan.

Might be cool to build them in different colors. Like the painted Ladies in SF.

I did the GG last year. Bricklinked GG by Broomhandle Zero, on Flickr I used Sand green mortar up front, and dark tan on the sides and back. I think it turned out great. for the canopy I used medium blue instead of blue, and purple for the drapes instead of dark red. This cost me around 75.00 to BL. I also did the FB.. The Gas station needs to go, maybe add plants there... I think even with this mod, it will still look odd. I agree, the Diner did not fit with the others, and this is just more extreme... is anybody working on a LDD to see what can be modded?

I agree. With the brickset photos, I thought... humm... the Brickvault video I thought... horrible dark orange... funny, I love the city hall...

I agree. Can this model be built via bricklink? if so, how much is it... I built a BL GG because I missed out on that one. it is not 100% correct because of the green 1x2's... but I like it and I have the GG... sorta. I feel this is the same. Collectible minifigures again... out of ideas. also, I am not bashing on the design. If the designer were to read all this.... it sounds petty, it is just a LEGO. I am just stating its not one of my favorites..

I agree, also the city hall is dark orange... too much dark orange.

I feel the same, after seeing the photo's on bricksets flickr. I feel kinda, eh.. what ever. It is my least favorite building, I may still get it. I am more upset with the price than the style of the set. I will probably make a few changes to make it more modern. And there is nothing we can do about the price. At least it is not the millennium falcon. I still can not believe that one...

brickset has some photos on the flickr page... it actually looks a little different from the lego photos... I am also thinking of, what could it be.... with out any heavy mods... i

I am American. I understand it has that American feel. But as a lego modular, it just dose not do it for me. The Diner was ok. I am 50/50 on it. I just feel this goes with the diner, but not in a good way. I am trying to like it... I think if I were to get it, would be to remove the gas station part. And have it as a garage, that at one time had gas...

I agree, The Brick bank was the last one. The Assembly Square is a OK build. its good, but not great. The price is just too high. The Diner is bland and is out of place. The garage is more bland and more out of place. It is too much of a industrial inner city type of building. Not a downtown building. If it was 149.99 I would think about it to add... I have all of them. At a $200 price... it is the 1st one for me to think, I am done... until 2020..

Disappointing...... It feels like it does not fit in with the other buildings. The dark orange does not look very good, and it is the same color as city hall. This is my least favorite of the series. I feel even the dinner does not fit in well with the other buildings. I would have rather seen this as a split building, like the pet shop. Minus the gas station. This is starting to turn into the collectible mini figures.. they run out of ideas and just go for something.... It looks like the price goes up each year too. This alone is something I am not looking forward too.

I have been thinking about this for awhile. 2 big ones for a BL is the cloth tops, and the dark red inverted slopes. I have seen the lepin set, and was thinking if I could get just the cloth, and change from dark red... it might be doable. Has anybody thought about this?

cool, do you have pics? Yes, i was thinking of a slight mod as well. I mentioned lepin, because they make a copy, and I was thinking i wonder if i could get just the canopy... lepin blocks are not welcome in my home... haha
