    Hi, my name is

Hi, I was a kid in the 90's who loved playing with, building with and nervously biting LEGO pieces. Now I'm a TFOL who wants an Imperial Flagship Medieval Market Village I really can't decide! (But PoP looks cool.)

    Most Hated!

I hated the old Palpatine figure and the Magnaguards. The old one looked horrible in yellow, and the magnaguards have (albeit unavoidably) ugly fat wrists. Accurate as it is, I hated the Magnaguard starfighter, half because of its figures (or lack of) and half because of a boring build/boring end result.
  3. Thanks Siegfried, I'll never look at bulldozers the same way again.
  4. I have a strange problem- I can't take figures from one set and put them in another! I bought Drawbridge Defense on sale (for the figs) and demolished it for pieces. Now, I can't use the figures with my hopefully-bought-in-April Medieval Market Village! (The Knight, Queen and Jester to be exact. I thought they'd go perfect in the scene, but no, I have to feel wrong and insecure about not including the set! Having the Drawbridge and the Village in one scene would look horrible, especially with the skeleton warriors. I just can't mix them for some reason. I can't keep a minifigure that doesn't have all it's parts, either, or I feel wrong. I'm also as you can guess fully purist. Does anyone have this problem? I doubt it, seeing as there are such skilled MOCers on here, who mix sets willingly. - Edit by WhiteFang: The old title was "Is anyone here UBER-Purist?"
  5. I think I have my answer... which is obvious. Don't throw out LEGO, stop worrying so much about a fun hobby, and most importantly, if LEGO doesn't work out for you, try something else. I want to apologize to Sandy, along with some other people, for offending them with my throwing out of LEGO bricks. It won't happen again, I'm planning on buying a plastic box to put all of my loose bricks in. I hope I can make up for my stupid topic and I can get back to being a good member. Please close.
  6. I guess you're right, it's an obsession. But I still love it like everyone else on EB. TBH, I kind of have a mental problem (which I won't elaborate on) and one of the extra issues my dad told me about is OCD. I use LEGO as healing, as I stopped the rest of my life almost entirely once things went bad. I use it because it calms me down, ironically, it just seems to make it worse. Maybe I should take a break or calm down or something. I hope I didn't offend anyone, I'm just trying to be a good member.
  7. And what's that supposed to mean?
  8. I stopped playing with LEGO when I was in my late 12`s. I went to the hospital because I got very sick over the summer. My parents wanted to buy me something, so they brought me places but I didn`t want anything. Until my mom went looking for a gift at TRU, in which I found, bought and loved the Technic Quad Bike. Soon later at 15, I`ve got a Telehandler that works with motors and a Jester- arguably the best figure of all time.
  9. Darth Vader`s UCS Tie Fighter, at 8 hours, when I was 13.
  10. I'm sorry that you don't like the topic, I was just wondering if anyone else felt this way. When I buy a set and I lose one piece, I end up giving the set to my cousin or worse throwing it out. I have loads of other OCD-like habits. For an example, I have the Solar Sailer and I can't find a piece. Same with some castle. I realize this is kind of a stupid topic, but people shouldn't be offended enough to post a snappy comment. I'm just a kid. Exaclty how I feel. When I go to my cousins and rebuild some of the sets he unbuilt, I'm extremely picky about which pieces are used (no replacements). I don't know. I just can't do it, and it might not be as silly as it sounds. I just bought the Snowtrooper bp and I can't get rid of the rocket launcher base (which I dislike). You bring up some good points, I just hope I didn't offend you or anything.

Welcome to Eurobricks! Any particular themes you like?

How much time do you spend on Lego?

1 hr a day, only because I don't have many bricks anymore.

    What the cat dragged in...

Hello, and welcome to Eurobricks! The Journey's End is probably the coolest MOC I've seen for a while, and your other ones are following behind.

    The lost city of Atlantis

Amazing job with good use of pieces, minifigures and other parts all together. I also see Jar Jar, which is worth a 10/10 on it's own.

This is a really cool idea, love the samurai guy with the crazy legs.

    Castle Sets 2010

Gonna have to snatch up those sets then, along with the MMV and some HP sets. The friendlies are red and white, and the enemies are black, by the way.

    REVIEW: 8086 Droid Tri-Fighter

Looks like Episode III, as: -there are no cartoonish designs like those on the RAG, no cartoonish minifigures like in most sets (although these figures were included in them), and the box isn't neccesarily used for CW (it's used for OT, PT and EU too) -it's fairly accurate, from the looks of it at least -it's advertised in the manual with a non-CW set, the ARC-170 starfighter (and no other sets) -Lego may be returning to their PT theme a bit (like with the Swamp Speeder) -they are re-releasing a figure in it that was in a non CW set (although you could argue Fit Fisto looks like he could pass as either) Love this set though, along with the ARC. Look to buy this and the ARC, the Mon Calamari Cruiser and finally the Slave 1 as this year's SW sets.

    Gone Fishing

The very first miniland I've ever seen, and I like it a lot. The miniland figures are so well done, especially the cute kid. The fish is actually in the right proportion, unlike the usual minifigs. Finally, the water looks pretty cool.

Digital Painting - Brickbeard versus Broadside 2009

Isn't that concept art from Lego Battles on the DS?
  20. As these two impulses are my only pirate sets, it's not an easy choice as both bring something different. I'd have to pick Arsenal versus Survival, because the weapon's rack is just so well done, while the campfire is a little bit poorly designed with its 2x2 and jumper plate as a simple fire, cheesy brown box and such. I like the figure and accessories in the Survival more though. Go fish!
  21. Sign me up please- but I might need help as this is my first mafia game.

Arr! Me first pirate set be King Kahuka!

    Uniting the North

I guess that sort of clears it up. I love the Exo-Force feet as dragon heads, and the roof is well made.
