Bionicle 2016 Story Discussion & Rumors
BrickBuilder3213 replied to VBBN's topic in LEGO Action Figures
Does anyone know if preliminary images of what would've been the 2017 sets exist somewhere? It would be nice if we could build the sets with existing pieces, at the very least. -
This news has broken me. I am SO disappointed in Lego, right now. They didn't even keep to the three year plan, like they clearly said they would.
-
So, if these sets were modded enough... The beasts could look WAY more terrifying. Think about it... If the Beasts were more like the largest Toa sets, they would look a lot more interesting. Plus, they could've added the function of combining with Umarak the Destroyer.

I will definitely be getting all of these. And spares, for MOCing and modding purposes.

Pictures of the summer sets are on Amazon UK. ...Those pre-order prices made me cringe. -
Nexo Knights 2016
BrickBuilder3213 replied to BrickJagger's topic in LEGO Action and Adventure Themes
Just started to collect the Nexo Knights sets. I'm absolutely loving this theme, thanks to the builds and mini figures. Three questions : 1. What's so special about the books (except the Book of Monsters, included in the sets? 2. Just how many of those books are there, across both waves? 3. Are there any store-exclusive sets for the Summer Wave? -
Has anyone worked out how to replicate the beasts' functions?

DC Superheroes 2016 - Rumors and Discussion
BrickBuilder3213 replied to just2good's topic in LEGO Licensed
Kinda like how we're slowly building up Flash's Rogues. Captain Boomerang looks great and would go great with the other three rogues that we've gotten. As for the Croc set in general... I might end up buying the minifigs and just leave the set alone. It's alright, but not really worth the money.- 8446 replies

Still waiting for the day when we get Classic Electro. ;3; As for the sets, I'll probably buy them all for the Spidey variants and villains. -
It's the Summer Mask of Control. The very bottom of the mask has the Destroyer mask's teeth.

Kinda want to mention that there's a chance that, due to the preliminary state of these sets... . The finalized Ekimu may have a blended Mask of Creation and a blended torso armour piece.

The three beasts have some interesting trans-parts. Trans-yellow might be on it's way, after over three years since we last saw it used on Waspix. Ekimu is severely unappealing, but that might be because I need to see the finalized set, first. Umarak the Destroyer is disappointing. So much for an awesome titan that combines with the beasts... Overall, I'm not impressed.

If I pre-ordered the Wii U version of Lego Marvel Avengers, will I get the Silver Centurion minifig? -
So... Umarak was in my local Sainsbury's. Tried to buy him, but the staff confiscated the set before I could complete the purchase. Seems like they have the sets, but won't sell them before 2016. At all.

He's not the only one who needs to know. I'm concerned about being able to get the Silver Centurion in the UK. Only the U.S has any info, regarding where you can get the polybag. :c -
Is it a bad thing to keep the sets partially together in their boxes? I mean, I don't want to disassemble them or have them exposed... But at the same time, I don't the parts to break when I rebuild them.

Soooo... We have the Silver Centurion, Hammerhead and Starbooster/Gemini suits to come, as well as the Bleeding Edge armour in the Civil War sets... ...Maybe we'll also get a battle-damaged variant of Bleeding Edge AND a new War Machine. That's four armours, minimum. Six if we get the variants of Bleeding Edge and War Machine. That's pretty damn impressive.
