It's amazing work, especially great idea with tiled roof. Also i like the legs of citizens, the theatre and ships are very nice.

Hi folks! I had built it few month ago, but hadn't time to make photos. Common castle with common infrastructure. First time i wanted place it on the mountains with the sea around, but lack of time affected on the MOC. I had an idea to make well known TIE fighter is an unusual way. Idea to make him from only technic parts, because technic - is a best way to represent anything with maximum similarity (not all, but the main features) I had some problems and as a result it consist of 99,9% technic parts. It took 4th place in the "IN A GALAXY FAR, FAR AWAY..." LEGO BUILDING CONTEST here. Enjoy :)

Just one seller on Bricklink.com says that the weight of 9398 set + package for shipping is 4400 gramms. It's very strange, i supposed that it's weight will be nearly 8297 set (2240 gramms).

Great review! What is the weight of whole set(with box, instructions..)?

Thanks for the comments, i'm glad you like the TIE. I don't know, may be using the "step" mechanics, but the sphere must be too big. Or some gears, but i had used the biggest and you see the result :)

Not bad. But the harpoon is too big, also the cockpit may be more narrow.

Hello folks, i can buy 10212 at cost $ 260. It is necessary for me or not? :) Why YES: - A series of Star Wars (except for the many sets of clone wars) is one of the few (also technic and modular buildings), which I like; - Very good price (for Russia), usually it costs ~$365-450 depending on the different store; - I have not bought any of UCS yet. So this set is a very detailed and minifigure-scaled ship model; - This set is one of the last "to buy" in the my list (brickset) of must have sets for 2010, but this list is simply to change :) Why NO: - I don't like that a relatively large percentage of parts are technician - 28% of the total number of parts, not counting technic beams(old-school design); - It's no good that white is the most distributed color in set, while the white turns yellow with time; - The set is huge, and i can put it only on the cupboard, where it will be covered by dust; - These money can be spent for 7965/8110/10218 from the list of must have sets for 2011 :) To buy or not to buy, what do you think about that?

Now on wheels is installed on bald tires, it is not a SUV))) Under the grille is now a dark gray hood space. Replaced the rear windows on a beautiful and realistic. Added rear fangs into the body color and slightly modified form of rear wheel arches. Added seats in the cabin, i have not got the seats of tan color, so put the yellow. And now, your attention is the black convertible: The entire restyled last model is also present in the new modification. Fangs color - PearlLtGray, like metallic. The emblem and grille MetallicSilver. Bald tires. Front and rear arches are slightly different from the previous model arches. Today i had recieved a box with 7754 and 10198, which are was buying in january 11 on ebay.

Hi everybody! Does anyone know anything about release status of these sets ? I think this year is the last time for the 10198, but it is expected on shop.lego.com in january, may be it still alive some time else. And i can't understand why 8129 was too limited and now deleted from shop.lego.com This model is not beautifull like 4483 and may be this is the reason of low interesting about this set. May be TLG will rerelease AT-AT in the nearly future? I need to know - to spend or not to spend money for 8129 and 10198, each of which costs in our country nearly $200-220, or may be better to buy 10212 for $280.

Bought 8043 few days ago. All LA's labeled 4638508 and has stamp 42X0. LA's from 8258 has stamp 48X9.

Hi folks! Having a couple of days that i spent for Mafia 2, I decided to do some model like in the game. I do not have a prototype model, for which I did this car, there is mixed a few features of different cars, a sort of improvisation. General views The idea of "bumpers" i had already seen here, on EB. Doors I have only one type of wheels, because adventure and city did not was my favourite themes of lego.
