The wording on that is a bit misleading. It sounds as if the figures were going to be released in 2012, but those attending Toy Fair would get them 'first'. Sadly, it didn't happen that way.

I mentioned Speedy, who is Roy Harper. Plus, if we get 'em, it's quite likely they'd be in the comic outfits, unless YJ gets a movie or that third season everybody's hoping for.

A Winter Soldier promo would be cool. Especially considering how we got shafted out of a Bucky Cap unless we were lucky enough to get the uber limited Toy Fair promo.

Big fan of sidekicks, hence my name. Speedy, Kid Flash, Aqualad, Wonder Girl, Impulse, etc. would make me very happy. Superboy, Static, Blue Beetle (Jaime), Ravager, etc. would be icing on the cake.

I don't mind Killer Frost showing up. Deathstroke is traditionally a Teen Titans villain, but I love seeing him get more exposure as he is literally my favorite villain.

And I explained a possible reason why. And Wally's outfit is portrayed darker than those you posted. Look at any of the merchandise. I have three action figures of Wally that are as dark as the Grant Gustin suit.

The aliens are supposed to be ugly! And motorcycles are small! The one that comes with the Hydra tank is no bigger. -
I am not saying they can't, but I am saying it may add unnecessary cost to the budget to color correct frame by frame what is a minor nitpicky detail. The suit's red. It's certainly no darker than Wally's Flash outfit. I don't see what the big deal is, except as an exercise in 'you can't please everybody'.

Again, it might have to do with effects shots. A Chroma Key or Green Screen needs to be bright, so it may be easier to use a contrasting color in effects shots in order to easily insert the effects. I don't know how many of you understand the filmmaking process but I am familiar with production techniques, and editing. I also know the Superman costume in the Reeve films caused that very problem during production. Hence the progressively darker looks for the Man of Steel.

What, aside from the costume indicates 'dark and gritty'? A bright costume might not have looked right, or may have had issues with special effects. There may be very practical reasons behind the palette choice.

If you love the character, you love the character. Never let my opinion taint your own. Mine is not the be-all, end-all, nor is it even typical.

I loved everything about the set. Though The Riddler, and the Dragster least of all. Batman's BTB deco is great, the Batmobile is a fun and great looking build, and Barry is amazing. I already had a Riddler, so he wasn't as big a draw, but can see how he's a good value for someone who doesn't yet have one. Though I personally wish it had been Two Face, as I don't yet have him.
