  2. As much as I don't like to Wishlist on things because it's pointless I've been thinking of figures that could be included so that we could get the key heroes but they remain somehow unique for the CMF wave. I'm thinking things like Hoth Han but with a blue jacket rather than brown. I'd say Celebration Luke with the medal is the more likely option as the only one we're really missing now is Endor Luke as mentioned above, and I think that the kind of figure that could sell a set on its own. There's only one variation of Leia we don't have... Bespin Escape. And that would just be a new torso print. I still think most of this is a moot point though as I don't think they will be doing it. Although I'd really like them to. I'm struggling now with where I'm likely to get a Snaggletooth.
  3. Yes. And the arms are custom printed. But by point is that even with existing figures that have been out for a while like the Celebration Medal figures they're actually in need of updating. A CMF would be an ideal way of circulating them but I'm still not sure of whether a Sw CMF is something that's even close to being on the table at Lego. The DC wave was all very specific costume designs from 75 years of a very diverse history, that may not have seen the light of day normally such as first appearance etc. We don't have that with Star Wars. Their costumes and appearances are very defined.
  4. Oh believe me. Those figures can be updated.

    Updating Your Minifigs

If you're going to display your figures you may as well give them some vintage Kenner love
  6. That would create some Inception or Tenet style time loop though. I’ve already had my own Insta post posted back to me as proof that we’re getting the figure and that I was wrong in suggesting we’re not. If Lego then decides to actually create the figure as a promo I’m afraid for the future of the universe as the fabric of space folds in on itself.
  7. Which is exactly why I did it. And also because people moaned so much about the Bespin Duel set that I wanted to poke them with a stick. :)
  8. How dare you all suggest that image is Photoshopped! :)
  9. That's a great looking set to me. Better scaled and sturdier than most mocs I've seen. Not forgetting about the build limitations of retail Lego sets that mocs don't need to concern themselves with.
  10. Mandalorian no. Prequel yes.
  11. Just burn something non essential. It’ll warm up in no time
  12. Hold it until they give in and actually let you have that big ice cream with the sprinkles and the flake
  13. Don’t hold your breath for Mando sets
  14. I wouldn’t have thought they’d have it so close to release. Even if they had the artwork ready for the box etc I’d say they’d wait for release. Logistically they’d have the boxes and instructions out for print already and be well into their distribution process for the next UCS Id say. Especially if it is an early May release.
  15. Mods. Sort this rubbish out.
  16. I see the kids have had too much sugar again
  17. Jedi was the first one I saw at the cinema back in 1983. I just missed going to see Empire. There is no right and wrong answers to what is someone's favourite part of the SW Universe but it is interesting to see how people see things differently. Empire is my favourite film and has been for a long, long time. But I actually put RO second only to that. Followed by ANH and then Jedi.
  18. Out of interest. What would you put 1-3?
  19. I think the phrase brothers in arms is relevant here. They're about to go into battle. To probably die. Referring to someone as a sister or brother as that happens isn't such as s stretch. it doesn't need scenes of emotional bonding between them. It may also show her that even though her family has been killed she's not alone. She has family in the people around her. These are movies with space wizards and laser swords and gravity altering missiles. Are we really dissecting the language between characters like this? Movies where a woman can have her entire homeward blown up and yet give sympathy to a man who has just seen a relative stranger die? If you've seen the notes of just how much Lucas's script changed throughout the development of ANH he was pretty much making it up as he went along. Nobody has to like any movie but I think if you're dissecting RO like this then I'm not sure what your criteria for enjoying a movie are.

    Future Star Wars Minifigs

Gold Leader has been released Several times too so I can’t see that one being a poly either. He’s in the UCS Y-Wing as an updated figure anyway.

Banthas and Dewbacks in our future?

As Reaper said, we’ve had the Dewback already so I don’t see that changing. It basically perfect as it is. The brick built Bantha that’s coming in January looks OK but I’m also hoping for a fully moulded one at some point.
  22. Exactly. The thread titles are loosely Lego inclusive but with no interest in that whatsoever. We're now back to slagging off Disney, KK, RJ, JJ... whoever else. It needs to be moved.
  23. This thread really should be in a different part of the site. It has absolutely nothing to do with Lego in any way, shape or form. It's the same conversation had on countless forums around the world for the last couple of years and contributes absolutely zero to LEGO Star Wars. The OP has done this now with two threads and then wandered off after dropping the hand grenade into the forum.
  24. The existing flight suit is fine as a unisex design. There are quite a few female pilots thoughout the OT never mind the sequels. The female pilot sat in the ROTJ briefing image above is Dorovio Bold. She can be made from using the T-16 pilot helmet. Quite a few of the pilots can be made from existing Lego releases and Firestar have also produced the Jaldine Gerams helmet (Blue Three) (very similar to an existing Dutch Vander design) as well as a Zal Dinnes (Red Eight) helmet. We also have helmets for Evaan Verlaine (Gold Three) and Wona Goban (Gold Nine) Several female pilots were in ROTJ for various squadrons too but unfortunately their voices were actually dubbed with male VOs. We can still create them (Dosmit Raeh - Tierfon Yellow Aces) as well as others.

    Thoughts on TROS?

Kylo works far better at NOT being Vader. Vader didn't seem to have any weakness... Even in his turning back to the light it wasn't really a weakness... it was just his son being more powerful at that point and maybe a confliction in his feelings also. Kylo works far better at someone much more human who is trying to be someone else, struggling with it, and always doubting whether that's what he really wants. Even as he 'achieves' these things he obviously doesn't feel at peace with himself at all. I don't have an issue with Kylo or Driver's performance at all. Same with Rey and Daisy's portrayal of her.
