  1. Well, I'm not sure if there is already a topic about this, but I have worked out how to change the batteries in the 2006 Exo Force light bricks. Read on to find out how. I will post a video instruction link as soon as it is uploaded to YouTube. What you'll need: ExoForce Light brick (obviously) A small screwdriver ( or other item with a long, thin shaft)(my s'driver was 2mm (0.07 inches) thick) a small 3V battery. 1. Put the point of the screwdriver into the hole in the brick (where you'd normally put the fiber optics cord). 2. Using quite some force, lever the screwdriver until the 'lid' pops up at the front. 3. Insert the screwdriver into one of the small gaps at the side where the 'lid' pops up, and lever the lid up again. 4. the lid should come right off. From here, you can shake the brick and the battery should fall out. Simply slide the new battery in and click the lid back on. There you have it Eurobricks. Stay tuned for the video. EDIT: Video link here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9LoQcCHRTZk
  2. Sunshine Coasters (and possibly other people). In Target today I saw two new things regarding LEGO. Firstly, the new 8098 Clone Turbo Tank was available. The price was $240!. I personally think that price is appalling, but eh, it just means I can scratch one thing off my birthday wish list, as my relis/parents would never pay that. That other thing of note, the (I believe) entire World Racers series. I didn't catch any prices, though. Oh, and they're out of Collectable Minifigures[/b.! And MYER is having a 20% off marked price on all LEGO. And... that's about all.
  3. Sunshine Coasters get excited 8089 Wampa Cave and 5892 Sonic Boom were both available at KMart at the Sunshine Plaza, and at Caloundra. Each were $69 I recall, which is way overpriced for Wampa Cave in my opinion. Sounds OK for Sonic Boom though, LEGO's MSRP being $89 for it.

    City 2010

Ok grogall, you've convinced me. I'm going to have to save my pocket and ask for more shifts at my job so I can buy these. They just look simply brilliant.
  5. Congratulations, some great entries from the winners! ...and I hope there is a Series 2 contest, as I have already made my entry for when it starts!

LEGO Star Wars 2010 Pictures and Rumors

I LOVE THAT SHUTTLE! Although I'll probably never get it, it'll probably be extremely overpriced in Australia, like every other LEGO set
  7. Nice, but it'll probably be some outrageous exorbitant price. But seriously, what LEGO Architecture really needs to make is the Sydney Opera House.
  8. For those of you on the Sunshine Coast, Queensland, TARGET at the Sunshine Plaza has the Series 1 minifigs available, 4 boxes of them, all just about full. Albeit at $3.75 . Didn't stop me from snagging the Spaceman and the Cheerleader using barcodes though. Oh, and they are located in the toy aisle, not near the counter, so no team members will be staring at you strangely when you pull out your barcode sheet and start rifling through the box.

Review - the minifigs from 8097 Slave 1

Ah, yes, when i first got 7748 Tank Droid, I figured by the Clones' jetpacks that a new Boba or Jango wouldn't be far around the corner. Thanks for showing this!
  10. Exactly right. No one at my local stores has any idea about LEGO. Which is why I asked here and didn't 'pick up this little thing called a telephone'.
  11. Hey guys, Does anyone know if the Collectible Minifigs are available anywhere on the Sunshine Coast in Queensland? And if so, what prices and what stores? Thanks,

Review of 10186 General Grievous Set

Ok, thanks mate. They certainly should've given him a cape, it'd add so much more character to him. Plus he'd look more imposing. Which is what General Grievous is

    The White Phantom

Looks a bit like a TIE/d fighter (Droid TIE Fighter) or a Vulture Droid, but, eh, it still looks great. Nice work!

Review of 10186 General Grievous Set

Great review of a great set dunamis! I'd love to have gotten my hands on this set while it was around, but I was only 11 when it was released and didn't have a job to pay for it yet! I do now though... Two things: First, could you give me his height not including the stand? And, you say 'For those without access to the internet, here is the parts list.' As far as I'm aware, people would need access to the internet to read this

LEGO Star Wars 2010 Pictures and Rumors

Excited for a MIDI-SCALE STAR DESTROYER! If it's true, it would be a great thing. Also, someone has probably already pointed this out, but there are over 300 pages of posts, and I can't be bothered looking, so... The Clone Turbo Tank has a handle on the top similar to the 7675 AT-TE and 10195 AT-OT, so it'll be able to be picked up by the 10195 Republic Dropship. Just thought I'd put that in.

    Review: 10129 UCS Snowspeeder

A legend review of a legend set, Rufus. I love your reviews, you show every single detail you possibly could, and heaps of in build shots to give me a feel of the build. Again, a fantastic review!

[Review] 10019 UCS Rebel Blockade Runner

Rufus, I think I should save up a LOT of money before I read your reviews, they make me have a wild craving for the set in question, and they usually cost a hell of a lot on eBay. Awesome review, you are definitely a 'UCS reviewer magnifico!' (quote: you)

REVIEW: 10195 Republic Dropship with AT-OT

Yeah, a bit late coming in here, but in late 2010, there's a new Clone Turbo Tank coming out, and it appears to have a Republic Dropship lock-mechanism-thing on it like the AT-TE and AT-OT... perhaps it's something to do with that, yeah?

    Review: 7662 Trade Federation MTT

Currently bidding on one of these guys on eBay. Sure hope I win. Very detailed review, showing off all the feature this behemoth hides within. In fact, this review is the reason I started searching all over for this set. So, I think that means you've done your reviewing job well, convincing me to buy it. Fantastic review JimButcher!

    10143 Death Star II

I'd love to get my hands on one of these, but you'd need about three jobs to justify the prices of this guy on eBay. Fantastic review KimT!

REVIEW: 10195 Republic Dropship with AT-OT

This is one of those sets that I'd just give anything to have! Fantastic review starstreak!
