*roflmao* Brilliant. I'm sure everyone got it right now XD

Yeah, okay. You're right... bad choice of words... but, but it's still a bit massive *insists* I mean, 'massive' as in more-complete-than-a-usual-Town-set-building-and-therefore-looks-bigger-than-the-so-called-minifig-scale. The hoop's set at the lamp posts' height :/ I believe the station actually would look smaller, if the lamp posts were taller (I was even thinking, that you might have left them like that on purpose of making the building look taller) :D

I really, really love the facade design of the Fire Station :o And I like the fact, that it's 'human scale' (that's not really a proper term for it, is it XD) instead of the classic minifig scale. Though, now that it is so, wouldn't it look nice for the lamp posts to have a couple of 2x2 bricks under them (they'd match those pillars on the building front too), to make them appear a bit more on scale with the rest of the MOC (if you don't think the 'tree' would look too small then?) Anyway. Details, details! I love them :D Great job!! P.S. I especially love the basketball hoop! Gives the whole thing a nice casual touch!

Thank you :) I'm sure I will. Have so far! :D Ahhah. Well, it'll probably please you to hear, that as of this point I only have one SW set... which that was too bought mainly for the parts (6211 Imperial Star Destroyer). Though, I'd love a Falcon :) Well, it's an okay job. Not at all as 'grand' as it sounds, but it does have it's moments XD Lucky Luke though, I'm sure, most European kids grew up reading those books (along with Asterix and Tintin etc.), were they any more interested in comics or not. They're the kind of books, that were/are loaned from a library with one's first library card and read over and over again X) Yeah, I remember reading, that you draw/drew comics, but was left guessing what those might have looked like as the links you've once posted were down ;D Well, a fellow mate at least ;D Not too much actually. I got Renegade Runner for one xmas and with my pocket money I managed to buy some of the smaller sets. That's pretty much it before after the dark ages... buuut it was enough for a kid with vivid imagination. Though, I guess I never got over not getting the Skull Eye's Schooner I had wished for that xmas, when I got the Runner instead. Finally bought it last year on an auction. Damn Santa XD Yup. Fell in love and got another one too :D

This is interesting (as the Western was my favourite theme after Pirates as a kid). I always had the assumption that the red shirted guy was the leader (though I'm not sure I knew his name back then). Probably partly because of the same reasons as you had the other way (that they were never correctly pointed out), but also, because he reminded me of Joe of the Dalton brothers (or cousins really) from Lucky Luke. He's intelligent, but somewhat short tempered. The black dressed guy always reminded me (because of his looks) a bit of my uncle X) Though I probably thought him as either William or Jack Dalton, as he was always the one to calm 'Joe' down (I never actually named them. At least I don't remember I did). He was also always the ladies' man in our plays with my sister (and that was most likely because of his well-dressedness) X)

*lol* Haven't seen that, but it does sound scary XD I'm usually not terrified by anything (not counting hospital series. E.R. is more than enough to get me feel sick XD), but this movie was quite disturbing. Nothing like Asian horror, huh?
-
This would probably be quite cute, if you get the grey 'pupils' and the eye brows 'erased' somehow, and leave the 'eyeline' for closed eyes.
-
:D That's great! Reminds me more of Terminator II, though.
-
Did the exact same thing :) Beautiful.
-
Same here :/ And I too prefer the old ones.

I am not going to call this China man a liar but...

...but no Robin. -
*lol* Marty is such a Joe Vig :D Great stuff (^o^)b

Oh, heh. Yeah, that's me ^^' Thanks guys. Edit: Oh, and that's 'her'. Not that it matters really ;)

From the entry thread, but I had to comment, since it's a common nitpick issue. It's not a laser, it's an "optic blast" XD For more geekier explanation: http://www.100megspop3.com/scottororo/fict...enceOfScott.htm (I don't even pretend to understand that all, but some might find it interesting)

All other new 2007 sets (including new theme)

Man, you guys are getting my hopes high. And it's likely to end up in nothing but dissapointment! I'll blame you! *sob* -
Sounds interesting :) Just in case (though I'm not sure how they'd fit for a super hero): are BickArms customs allowed?
-
Aww, rats. What a waste of a perfectly detailed MOC-potential sticker. Oh, well, that'll have to do then X)
-
Thank you for the review! I've been meaning to buy this set (for the parts :D) Just one question though, is the sticker base trans clear or white? Because that would do so well on other surfaces than just white too.
-
You should have bagged it and sold it to someone. Would've got your money back XD No, seriously, the whole thing sounds just awful :/
-
Absolutely the best thing in a while XD The horses in that set look rather spiffy :D They'd make great carousel rides. And yes, all those 'new' Pirate accessories do look tempting. I especially like the yellow parrot and the map!

Wow! They really do look spot on! I've never watched Rescue Me (except for some random channel surfing glimpses), but I might still want one of those Gavin figs, just for the looks :D Also, I can't compliment your 'rules' for making custom figs enough :) Like you said; capturing the spirit is really the essential, and there's plenty of material to choose from these days to try and do just that, without all the 'carving' and painting. (No disrespectfully to those, who like painting and other customizing things to their figs, of course. Custom molds and such can be just as beautiful when done well.)
