That is amazing. Fantastic work. I can't believe he bettered the 2009 diarama, but he did. Congrats on a great job Bo. I love the detail of the Echo Base. Looks great with the Falcon sat there.

X-Mas Star Wars Photography Contest - Winners!

Congrats to each of the winners. Great photographs. -
I like a lot of the sets mentioned so far. My top few would be... 1. Millenium Falcon in system scale - simply because I missed out on the last one and couldn't afford the UCS version. 2. Rebel transport - again in system scale. 3. Tie fighter - it's been said before, but TLG really, really need to re-issue this in grey. 4. AT-ST - I know it's been done a few times and I know the last one was only recently released in the Endor Bunker set, but I'd love for them to re-issue this without any silly walking mechnism. I really hate that! I like the rebel battlepack idea with the hangar transport. That would go well with Hoth MOCs and a Yavin rebel base. Throw in a couple of hangar techs, a pilot with new helmet markings and rebel trooper - could be a winner. Lastly, slightly off the wall choice here, but a Speeder bike in UCS or Technic would be fun.

Great MOC. I love the scoring console. Has the feel of the Death Star about it. Can't wait to see more.

[MOC] Executor-Class Super Star Destroyer
heofthehothbrick replied to Anio's topic in LEGO Star Wars
WOW!! That is incredible. The effort and hard work you've put into that is well worth it. An incredible MOC that is accurate. The detail of the greebles is really well done, even by the engines. Very well done. -
Another great MOC cavegod. It's an unusual design, but looks great in the UCS treatment. great stuff.

Great little mock. Not easy getting the space worm right and I think you got it spot on. Love the little falcon too.
-
Amazing scene. A lot of detail and a lot of little MOCs within the MOC, which makes it all the better. I can't wait to see more of the two exo-force-style walkers you've built. Best of luck in the competition.

Awesome. Reminds me of a Sandcrawler, but beefier. I think the level of detail is fine, much more and it wouldn't be very Imperial IMHO. The whole scene works really well. A great MOC.

Not that I'll be able to afford it, but the UCS Shuttle seems to win it hands down. They did a really good job on that one.

Voted for TLG Aayla. It's all in the face. She has that zen jedi look which I think looks better than Arealight's angry look. The Arealight version is still good though.

jansued, this is awesome. I love this. You captured the WW2 fighter feal really well and transposed that nicely to Star Wars. I love the greebling and the details that you've put into this. The decail adds that finishing touch. My favourite MOC I've seen ever. Brilliant.

Impressive. You've made General Grievous look like General Grievous. He looks menacing, just like he should. Nicely done.

Like others, I'd have preferred an update of the original AT-AT, but since they now sell for about £200 and this is an opportunity to get one for £90, this goes on my wish list. Having said that, I'm really exited about getting this, more so after the review, and it does look like a nice set. Improvements on minifigs and a chance to get C3PO all add to the must have-ness of the set.

Fantastic MOC. The design is genius. Looks like it would fit right in on a film like 2001, etc.

Ok, 1 point each for... 50 Crash Test Dummy by Oky Wan Kenobi 40 Zombie Entry by JammieDodger714 58 Spaceman Entry by Greenskull139 Good work everyone. Some nice vignettes. -
I quite like this. A bit of humour in it aswell (Love the faceplant rebel trooper and the ice skating imperial officer ) The technique used on the power generator is a good one too. Never seen that before on a power generator MOC, and I like it. Good use of curved slopes too for building up the snow. Good work and good luck in the contest.

I like building the official sets, and some are kept and some are split for parts. I mod some, but mostly I MOC. Town sets are great fun to build and also supply a goodly number of parts. All my MOCs and MODs are SW though.

When you see your versions of the fighters against the Lego versions, you begin to see just how good your MOCs are, far more like the actual fighters. I really like the way you've positioned the cockpit right at the back and removed the droid pop-up mechanism, which I always thought was a bit silly. Great work. I've got Plo Koons fighter on my wish-list this year and can see some modding coming on to match your version.

Just what I needed on a Friday afternoon. Great humour. Thanks for sharing.

echo the comments above. beefier than the dropship, but not as beefy as the gunship. Some nice touches like the gun-mount. Nicely done.

Ultimate Collectors Scale All Terrain Armoured Transport
heofthehothbrick replied to cavegod's topic in LEGO Star Wars
Congratulations Cavegod. A job well done. I hope you feel all the time, energy and money was worth it, because I'm sure all of us here feel it is. An amazing MOC. Thanks for sharing the journey with us. -
I like this. I really, really like this. Great detail. Looks a little taller than it should, but I think it looks better for it. Makes it look more powerful than it was in the movies. Great job.

Brilliant posters. Hindsight and Ignorance are the best, but Hindsight gets my vote. Great twist on a classic line.

That is truly amazing. one one hand, the size of the building is incredible, on the other, the details you captured are just as incredible. An inspiring build. Thanks for sharing.
