While this is a fair question to pose, I have found that if I look for plot holes and worry about them, it makes the books a lot less enjoyable. I think that it is one of those things that we have to blindly except. I don't let things like that ruin my experience.

No offense, but what makes you so sure it doesn't have any Phase II clones. Have you seen it? Obviously not because you think it might the the Snail Tank, even though that won't work because of the piece count. I hate when people make statements like they are facts when they don't even have all the facts. I still think it will have Phase II. When we see the set, I might be right or might be wrong. But, I am not going around saying that I am definitely right.

I agree that the way Harry kills Voldemort is kind of anticlimactic, but the whole thing with the who the master of the Elder Wand really is is pretty good. Also, I just love how the last book wraps everything up and we finally learn about Snape. I don't think that it is so bad that so many people died. She had to kill somebody. It wouldn't have been believable if nobody did. I was reading about this book that talks about different things in the books and if JK Rowling should have done them. The big one is if she should have killed Harry in the last book.

Even if it is a good one? You are right though. We shouldn't encourage him.

Do you really have to be so callous and insulting in your response. "the whole father son hitting the same chick was hilarious"? While it did add humor the film, did you really have to reference it like that. Plus, the little names like "Laboofhead" are funny when you are 5 years old. They really don't belong on a mature forum like this. There really is no need to throw pointless insults around that serve no purpose except to make you look immature. And while Ford might be too old at this point, he was and still is a great actor.

I would say in the range of $35-40. The new Hoth set has 155 pieces and is $25. That's around $5 per 30 pieces. I am really hoping that it is going to include Phase 2 Clones. I am guessing that it wills simply because it seems dumb for Lego to include a picture of one on the box if it doesn't have any.

There has never been a modern day war theme. There has been the Wild-West and Pirate themes, both of which include weapons. However, these themes don't solely promote violence, but adventure and excitement. A war theme would simply promote war. Oh, and the Cardinals will beat the Cubs any day.

Very nice MOC. Also, let me just say that it is great that Eurobricks is taking the time to honor such a great and significant event in not only US history, but the history of the world as well. As Mr. Armstrong said, this was something that the world could unite around. Unfortunately, it just pissed the Soviets off a whole bunch.

Annual rereading? That's a good idea. I have read the first three only once (my dad used to read them to us aloud when they first came out). I have read GOF and OOTP three times, HBP four times, and DH three times. I actually just finished reading HBP again after seeing the movie and felt like reading DH again because it is my favorite. The first time I read DH was the day after it came out. I got home from vacation at four in the morning and it was waiting there in a fancy Scholastic box (because we had pre-ordered it). I sat down to read it and did not get up again until around noon when I was done. I have always read the HP books pretty fast. I reread HBP in a day and DH in another day. They are just really gripping. It is hard to put them down.

Ok. I can see that you are new here, so let me give you a couple of suggestions on posting MOC's. It is better to wait until you can take good pictures before posting instead of posting with lousy ones. That tiny picture does not entice me to look on youtube. Also, it would be better to post a link to the video instead of making people search.

After seeing Kingdom of the Crystal Skull, I am seriously worried for the series. The first three were simply amazing, with great acting and superb stories. However, the new one came across as a run-of-the-mill adventure story, which was fine with me. That is, until the end. When the big flying saucer came out of the ground is when I decided that he movie was an insult to the series. Harrison Ford is too old for the role and Shia LaBeouf (even though I like him) was terrible as Mutt Williams. I think it was mainly the fact that he character itself was bad, but I would not be happy if he took over the main role in the films. I think that they need to let the series live the rest of it's life and then slide slowly into obscurity, much as series such as Star Wars, Lord of the Rings, Harry Potter, Batman, Terminator, and other great film series will. It's natural for series to be popular and great while they are prominent and then die out. No reason to try to keep it alive.

I think she simply went on to bigger and better things. I think that the main reason the council gave Anakin a padawan was more of a learning exercise for the both of them. By the time ROTS came around, they both had learned a lot from each other and she moved on to a regular Master. Either that or she is killed in a battle.

Considering that they are wizards, I am guessing that he Weasleys will rebuild/repair it. They can't cut the wedding and everything else in the beginning of Deathly Hallows out completely.

I realize they are splitting it up like that, I am just not sure where in the book they will split it up. However, I recently read something that says that the whole forest/camping section of the book will be the stopping point for the first movie, which makes sense. From what I have read, the Battle of Hogwarts will be somewhere around 30 minutes of Part 2, so they need to leave room for that. I am guessing that either after they break the is when Part 1 will end. Oh, and I agree with you when it comes to Emma Watson! After watching the Half-Blood Prince a second time, I realized that some things they did in the film will greatly effect the last two movies. After going back and reading the book again, my only major complaints are as followed. After all this, I still feel like this one was better at staying with the book than the Order of the Phoenix. Commander Flash: Part 1 comes out November 2010, and Part 2 July 2011. There is only an 8 month waiting time, not 18 month.

I am hoping from the press release that Lego will reveal other new Star Wars sets. However, I find this unlikely considering that Lego has never had a huge presence at Comic-Con. I am also excited about the revealing of the new Toy Story and Prince of Persia figures.

While this does have some Historical aspects to it, this really belongs in the Lego Sci-Fi and/or Licensed Forum.

Yeah, that is true. But in this economy, I would rather have money to spend on food than money to spend on Legos (or free Legos). They actually just discontinued the free beer when Inbev bought the company, but for at least 10 years they got it. Still, I would take a check over pricing out Lego pieces and getting some money from that.
-
No offense, but this is kind of a pointless topic. While it is nice that they receive free Legos, it isn't all that surprising or interesting. I have a relative that works for Anheuser-Busch who gets free beer. Same kind of thing. The whole free Legos instead of Bonuses would be a real drag, especially in this economy. You can't buy food or clothes with a Lego set.

Very nice MOC, except the deck seems a little short compared to the rest of the ship. Other than that, it seems really great.

I really hope it doesn't have another R2, but I have a feeling it will. I am going for Leia, Antilles, R2, C3PO, and a Rebel Trooper. Antilles will be the only really cool one, at least in my opinion.

That really is quite impressive. I love the amount of detail you put into the greenery and the bridge. Great figures too!

I just saw a preview for this movie when I went to see Harry Potter. While the movie looks interesting, I don't think I will go see it. The concept is good, but the characters being little sock-puppet things (no offense) seems a little to weird for me.

It's crazy to think that back in the day, Lego did have themes and figures, just bricks that were made to be creative with.

He wasn't saying that this is the best car ever and that everyone should have one. He was just saying that he likes it. Why are you always so negative?
-
Very cool. Those are the best I have ever seen. I love how you have a working mechanism on the top and that you have all 4 doors. I would suggest taking better pictures. You should try adding some similar ones to the Endor Bunker (if you have it).
