Great breathtaking MOC mate, 11/10! I'm truly impressed with the details, so I got to come back several times to this :)

Great MOC! Loved to see such a closed structure on this baseplate, I struggled a bit with an earlier try (First I just rebuilt 6262 on it to have a small fortified port, here are some pictures of it: http://www.brickshelf.com/cgi-bin/gallery.cgi?f=386754) Too bad these modified baseplates are such rarities, I also love them as they can give a real challenge COngrats G

It's a very nice one, congrats! I like the way you modified the Armada Flagship, I think it's less rainbow now than the original and certainly has an elegant style

Hey, thanks all the comments I dont' know, I tried with a little more black and then I felt I need exactly something to break the whole dark structure, and so I chose red, which was in some parts anyway (cannons the very least) plus it fits the black uniforms with red epaulettes

Here's the new ship Black Runner I made, which starts from a Renegade Runner, but uses mainly black and to a small extent red colors. The concept was to make an elegant&quick but well armed ship with an elite crew I wanted to have an upper and lower deck A small cabin at the rear, storage area below The deck can be opened and two planks moved out when moving to other ships The lower deck with a hard-working crewwoman The whole crew Other pictures can be found here http://www.brickshelf.com/cgi-bin/gallery.cgi?f=424769 Still fine-tuning it, so happy to hear any comments

This looks great :) I'm experiencing with something like this too, although on a smaller scale and with different baseplates / dock outline

Yep, it's my bad. I noticed it only when uploading the pictures and honestly I was a bit lazy to redo the shooting :)

Here's a small MOC started from Loot Island elements. Most small sets have happy pirates on deserted islands where it's quite tough to survive, so I thought to show the other side After shipwrecked on the island they looked for, they found the treasure but had a small disagreement. The "lucky" pirate then died from thirst.. One of them is still haunting the island Other pictures can be found here http://www.brickshelf.com/cgi-bin/gallery.cgi?f=420818

I ordered Broadside Brig and Sabre Island a few weeks ago and wondered whether I could make a small MOC by using only elements from these two sets. Here's what I got - and so there are some small faults that would never occur in an official set I like it anyway, but any feedback is welcome More pictures can be found at http://www.brickshelf.com/cgi-bin/gallery.cgi?f=419990 I should note that there's a similar idea posted here a while ago http://www.eurobricks.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=37630

(My first post, although following the forums for quite a while) Very nice MOC, I actually like the ones made from very "traditional" elements Just a thought: when I first saw the small picture, I actually saw a skeleton head there for a second and thought what a nice idea to make a skeleton in uniform - anyway, those guys should die on a small deserted island like that. This is the price they should pay for the treasure, and then guard it forever. I might wanna work on this idea a bit more to produce a MOC (maybe with some broken shovels or boats)
