    [MOC] Corner Store Scene

So I've been watching a Youtube Channel a lot lately called 3DBotMaker and on that channel, they race Diecast cars down a mountain and do their videos in such a professional manner that I keep enjoying them.So that is the introduction as to where I found this scene that I am building in Stud.io to see where I can go with it. This first part is this store and patio where there are going to be some announcers set up under this canopy.I would like to hear your comments on this build. [MOC] Captain Future's Comet (mini)

I recognize the shape of the ship, I don't know if I have ever seen the show/cartoon though. It looks like the design language from Futurama a bit as well.

    [MOC] Captain Future's Comet (mini)

Very Retro feel to the design. Great job.

    [MOC] Racing Wing

I made some modifications to the Lego Ninjago Destiny's Wing (Item No: 70650-1) It was fun playing around with it. I think the build is about 60% the design from Lego with some twists that I put in. WIP - Faro Table

So my latest MOC idea is a playable Faro table and various accessories. For this I plan on using the Pirate Lego playing cards to keep it all Lego. There are a few things I need to figure out as you can see that on the board there are permanently affixed cards and I have come up with a way to get the cards set on the table. I'm starting with this card holder but I'm concerned the Door Rail plates will have connection issues when a card is slid under the edges and siting on the tile. Has anyone tried to do anything similar?
  6. I've been following several builders in the micro-space genre and love seeing what they come up with. I've also really enjoyed watching Shiptember come together every year on Flikr and often wondered if I could design something worthy of that contest/forum. With all that being said, I've started a new design and I'm taking a bow to stern build and would love to get comments as I build my way through this. I don't really have a back story of the ship or an end result in mind. I just want to play with shapes and other techniques to see if I can build something interesting. [MOC]LL-313 Galactic Multicargo

I really like this ship! The multi-mission role that this ship could provided has some awesome play-ability. You could up armor this ship and use military style coloring and it would be just as effective of a build as this one. Great work my friend.

    [MOC] Walking tank

I would hate to ride in that thing, but completely awesome looking work.

    [MOC] Touron Exos

I like the color scheme. The parts use of the hands is cool. If you like building the mech type builds, there is a cool YouTube tutorial on how to build various bodies and more functional hands.

    [MOC] First Micro-Space build

Thanks for the comments. The studs that are on top at the moment are going to house some antenna of some sort. I'm just waiting to flesh out the rest of the ship to add on the details. First Ship_7-24-19 by Benjamin Sarles, on Flickr

  13. I present my Performing Arts center at the Micropolis scale. The building was referenced from a building that does exist in Paducah, KY. I wasn't attempting to recreate the building, but I liked the design of it. I designed this building using Bricklink's STUD.io software and rendered it with the native rendering tool. I always look forward to comments and critiques. https://flic.kr/p/2eSkCeE

    Fantastic Build!

    Paducah GP10 Locomotive

Does anyone have a good way to incorporate a bell?

    Paducah GP10 Locomotive

Starting on a personal project. I've never built a LEGO Train before so I'm basing my boggies and trucks on the LEGO set 60052 and will start to build from there. My hope is to build a model of the Paducah GP10 locomotive that was built in my fathers home town of Paducah KY. http://www.railpictures.net/photo/612127/ Illinois Central Paducah Built G10 Locomotive #5 by Benjamin Sarles, on Flickr

  19. This is a design I've been working on for that last year or so. I meant to have it built for the 2016 Brickfair Virginia but wasn't able to quite pull it all together in time. So I brought it out for this years Brickfair. I originally designed the building the Lego Digital Design (LDD) software. I had the design even built. Once I switched my primary software to bricklink;s Stud.io I tested out the rendering package in Stud.io on this build and it sold me on the switch to the software package. I started to evaluate the design a bit further for this years Brickfair and wanted to add some lighting which cause me to really work through some redesign efforts in the roof and foundation pieces. the final design from Stud.io ended up looking like this. Now it was time to build and light. I am really happy our this all came out.

    Alpha Centauri "Copernicus Base"

I've been loving this on the Flikr boards. The theme is outstanding and I love all the auxiliary vehicles you have designed for it.

    [MOC] The Road Runner

The lights are has to be the funniest thing I've seen! I love this Mech! I can see this thing being insanely fast but man I would hate to pilot it with all the shaking you would have to endure. The power plant detailing is outstanding and it makes for a completed design look. Well done in all respects on this MOC.

    MOC- WIP Pusher Sea Plane

I've been working on this, today. Trying to come up with an interesting pusher plane design that has influences back to World War II. This first picture is from from where I was blocking in the hull of the design. This shows a bit more design work with the addition of a different windscreen as well as the support pylons for the wings to the man fuselage. I'm still thinking of whether or not to add wing tip pontoons. Feel free to add any comments you have for additions to this design.
