Recently I have designed and built a custom C model tractor based on LEGO Technic set 42164. It has three functional attachments: a plough, slasher, and post hole drill. Step 1: Conceptualization and Planning The first step in any LEGO project is to conceptualize the design and plan out the structure. For our tractor, we envisioned a sturdy yet versatile vehicle capable of handling various agricultural tasks. Step 2: Building the Tractor With a clear vision in mind, we began assembling the base of the tractor using the components from set 42164. We focused on ensuring stability and functionality, incorporating hand of god steering, via the grey exhaust on the top of the engine area. Step 3: Developing Attachments Once the tractor was complete, we shifted our attention to designing the attachments. Each attachment required careful consideration of its purpose, size, and compatibility with the tractor. We experimented with different configurations and mechanisms to create functional implements that could be easily swapped and operated by the tractor. 1. Plough: The plough attachment was designed to efficiently till the soil for planting. 2. Slasher: For clearing overgrown vegetation, we created a slasher attachment. 3. Post Hole Drill: Lastly, we developed a post hole drill attachment for digging holes for fence posts or other structures. This attachment featured a rotating drill bit. Conclusion: Designing and building a custom LEGO Technic C model tractor with three attachments was a rewarding and enjoyable experience. From conceptualization to final assembly, each step of the process required creativity, problem-solving, and attention to detail. This whole thing makes me really sad :(

Recently I built this C model of LEGO Technic set 42178, it was an enjoyable experience and I was very impressed with the end result, however I felt a few areas could be improved. New Front End: One thing I noticed was that the front end was very bare. I added some panels and beams plus some flexible tubing to create a more robust front end. Cabin Changes: The way the cabin was connect was a little weak in places, I added some extra beams and supports. I found a few parts which had colours that didn't really fit, this was due to it being a C model. As I was able to use a wider range of parts, I swapped over some parts to different colours in places. Rear Hitch: The rear hitch was quite basic and only allowed it to be locked in the raised position. I have recently spent some time designing and building my latest MOC, this is a bush plane, which is a C model of set 42147. I have seen some other planes built from this set but wanted to go for something that would be used in remote areas. One of the highlights of this model is its spinning propeller, which adds a dynamic element to the finished build. As you attach the propeller assembly and give it a spin, you can almost hear the roar of the engine and feel the rush of wind as the plane takes off into the wilderness. The inclusion of a spare wheel and jack adds an extra layer of realism, allowing you to imagine scenarios where the plane lands on dirt airstrips in remote locations, ready to tackle any terrain. I have recently spent some time designing and building my latest MOC, this is a tracked aerial access vehicle. This is used on building sites to lift workers up to heights, to allow them to safely work above the ground. I spent some time researching these online and after trying a few builds, I am happy with the end result. It has three features: - Knob to turn the turntable. - Knob to raise and lower the bucket - An opening access panel, to allow the inner workings to be viewed. I have recently completed my latest MOC, this is a C model truck and semi trailer, using the parts from two copies of LEGO Technic set 42147. The truck is partly based on the A model for set 42147, with the cabin being built as per the A model and the rear being designed for the attachment of the semi trailer. This features hand of god steering and the cabin doors open, as per the A model. The semi trailer connects via a pin, to the the connector on the back of the truck. MOC - Custom Towing Attachment for LEGO Technic 42151 C Model Pick Up Truck I have recently completed my latest MOC, this is a custom towing arm, which connects in the tray of LEGO Technic 42151 C Model Pick Up truck. When I was making my changes to this C model I had a 3L beam to the front of the tray, my idea being to use this to allow me to add custom attachments easily. This towing attachment turns this from a pick up truck in to a tow truck. It has a gear on the side with a lever, which is used to wind in and lock the tow line. As can be seen in the photos below, this easily works to tow a vehicle.

Recently I have built the C model Pickup Truck of LEGO technic set 42151, this was designed by "ErikGS", the instructions for this C Model can be found on Rebrickable. After building this, I was very impressed with the model and design but I saw a few areas where it could be improved, this was mostly due to some parts only being held in by one connector, such as the doors, around the engine bay and some other areas such as the top of the roof and the dashboard not staying together very well, given was a C model and only used the parts from set 42151, this was understandable. I have spent some time recently "modding" this C model and making some changes. This uses a number of other parts, meaning it is no longer a "proper" C model. I have listed the changes below. Front End Redesign. Bonnet has been swapped around and now opens, this allows the engine to be seen in operation. I also installed a stay to keep this open. The rear of the engine bay also had a stay installed, to provide some extra support. The cabin has been redesigned and has had some extra beams installed to provide more strength. A number of parts have been swapped to yellow, to give it a set of yellow strips from the front to the back. The rear tray has been improved, with side sports bars installed and some changes to the rear of the cabin and tailgate. MOD - Loading Trailer for 42151 C Model Pick Up Truck Recently I have completed my modifications of the LEGO Technic 42151 C Model pick up truck, to add my own ideas and touches to it. Following this, I decided I wanted to design and build a trailer for this to tow. I had a spare copy of set 42167, which I had recently built as a C model tilt tray truck, my plan was to use the parts from this to build my trailer. I started off loading the parts from 42167 in to Studio and using this to design a trailer. After a few hours I had a design, which I was happy with. When it came time to break down 42167, which was built as a tilt tray truck, I thought this idea might work well for a trailer. A quick redesign and I ended up pulling off the front cabin part, keeping the rear tilt tray intact and redesigning this to be a trailer. I had to move the wheels back two studs and make some modifications to the tray lifting an tilting mechanism, to allow this to work. I also built a draw bar, added a stand for when it is not in use and made some minor changes to the tray. Finally I had to add a tow bar to 42151 C model pick up truck to allow this to two the trailer, this is a 7 stud beam that connects just behind the rear wheels and to the rear bumper bar. Overall, I am very happy with how this has turned out. My next plan is to build some other trailers and attachments for 42151 C model pick up truck.
