Posting to find my number, I'll edit with the set in a sec Here we go: "Set # 790-1: Suitcase with Trays, Blue" No pic. Fairly random. And it seems there is no '790' exactly. Although there is this Fabuland chimney piece: TK

Thanks, good to know... if it ever goes on sale. £40 is far too much. TK

Maybe they're still hiding in the wings? (dammit, I need more clones ) TK
-
Unless under the picture of the Clone Trooper on the box it says "Clone Trooper x3". Then you would have the 4 clones (3 standard and Cody), and I seem to remember Toy Fair pics showing 2 Clones in the Wing Cockpits as well.... maybe they're hiding? TK

Watched Cloverfield last week. It loses a bit of it's sheer awesomeness (is that a word?) on the small screen, but it's still one of the best movies I've ever seen. Also watched School of Rock last night. Picked this up on DVD for £4 last week; a very good deal. I'd watched it a few months back on TV, but it's still just as good second time round. Enjoyable film, and Jack Black puts in a good performance. TK

Steve Witt (from LEGO) said that in the final version of the set 3PO will have correctly-coloured hands. Also, brilliant elevator, and loving the sticker (gasp) in the detention block. TK

Bought 14 Weapons and 2 Grenade Packs from BrickArms (the minifigforlife UK version). £9.00 total. Just waiting on the Royal Mail now. TK

Doctor Who, Torchwood, Sarah Jane Adventures...

So, Turn Left. A good episode, I thought - one of the best of the series. Although the thing on her back was just a giant beetle? Kinda crappy. Trailer for next week looks good. Did anyone hear Davros laugh? Although to be honest, it could be just a big re-union party TK -
No mention of a rotating base though TK

Best. Set. Ever. However, if the Clone Wars prices are anything to go by, UK pricing should be around £250-275... the American prices are rising to reflect UK/EU prices (sorry if someone already said this, but 12 pages takes a long time to read ). If it's £250 I'll happily buy it here. £300? I'll have to try bring it back from Florida TK

What game are we playing at the moment?
The Kid replied to Mr Hobbles's topic in Culture & Multimedia
Lego Indiana Jones and Guitar Hero III. Stuck on GTA... I haven't really played it in 3 weeks and have forgotten where to get ammo from. Also bought a DS Lite, should be getting some games soon... TK -
Hooray, cake! Thanks, guys. Green Grocer is mine (3 hours of building, Floor 1 complete ) TK
-
Green Grocer, Market Street and Public Works arrived yesterday. Built the latter two; first has to wait until Monday. Also, Lego Indiana Jones game arrived today. TK
-
Got it today, as predicted. Played 2 and a half levels, need to finish the third now... anyone else spot Luke in the second level (all Raiders)? First impressions: Very good, a lot like LSW. TK

Well, mine shipped from Play today and if their delivery service is anything like it has been recently, I should have it tomorrow as well. Andrex, what platform are you getting it on? TK
-
This is available on Play.com on all consoles in the UK now. I ordered it today. http://www.play.com/Games/PlayStation3/4-/...es/Product.html TK

Doctor Who, Torchwood, Sarah Jane Adventures...

Maybe River Song is Rose in disguise? :-P And maybe if Donna really is dead, then it's her funeral at the Christmas special... but I doubt it. Most likely . TK -
Last night I ordered Green Grocer, Market Street and Public Works from S@H. TK

Dressing up for the midnight screening of Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull went spectacularly wrong. TK

"They were sold out of Short Round costumes." TK

I don't get why you all seem to like the model (with the exception of one or two)... it is really rather ugly indeed. TK

"Does my bum look big in this?" TK

Well, while on holiday this week I bought the two smallest Speed Racer sets, the Cement Mixer, Fire Engine and 4996 Creator Beach House. £59 total (there was a toy shop with shelves of cool LEGO within walking distance of where I stayed ). TK

Maybe for a jacket-less Indy you could use Han Solo's torso from the Sail Barge? TK
-
Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull. As a continuation of the Indy series, it was okay. 3 and a half stars on that count - Indiana Jones and UFOs don't mix. However, as a standalone film, not comparing it with the other three, it was really good. It all moved along very fast, and Cate Blanchett was excellent! So, by itself, I'd give it 4 and a half stars. TK
