Not sure if this has been mentioned yet, but this set is on the TRU UK website, clocking in at £39.99: http://www.toysrus.co.uk/Product.aspx/TruO...anaJones/455172 TK

Argos.co.uk now have the Indy IV sets. Tesco and Woolworths stock them as well, as was mentioned in the SR topic. I expect they'll be in the new Argos catalogue (on that note King's Castle Siege is back at full price). Jungle Duel - £8.99 River Chase - £17.99 Jungle Cutter - £29.99 Temple of the Crystal Skull - £69.99 All RRP. TK

Oh yeah, TRU have a 3 for 2 sale on all Lego Indy right now. TK

River Chase, Jungle Duel and a second Motorcycle Chase for £27. TRU UK have a 3 for 2 on Lego Indy atm. TK

...from eBay for £7.20. Good deal. TK

Speed Racer. Really great, I agree with everything Sam said. Lot better than I thought it would be. Although the colours were beginning to give me a headache by the end. TK

As usual, oddly entertaining (not in that order). Who did win the "contest"? TK

Dark and annoying year? Why? And we only got GG pics a week or two before it came out. Same thing happened with the UCS AT-ST - we found out about it in an official announcement by LEGO two or three days before release. Kept that one hidden pretty well. So who says we should have DS pics by now? TK
-
...what Batbrick said. And who says I was referring to Spiderman? TK

I got the Chameleon Hunter, Off-road Fire Rescue (?) and the little £2.99 digger. The EF set is my favourite; so much lime green! TK

Anyone else dissapointed in their hailfire droid?
The Kid replied to Clonecommando007's topic in LEGO Star Wars
I'm disappointed with the price. Only SW sets I've bought in a long time are Battle Packs, simply because they're too damn expensive next to Castle and City sets. But I should stop beating a dead horse... from the pics, IMO, the hailfire looks pretty decent. I would buy it, but, as mentioned before... price... TK -
I voted for SlyOwl, Oky Wan Kenobi (for obvious reasons ) and LegoLyons, in that order. TK

I still haven't found any impulse sets in stores. I really want the Wizard and I wouldn't mind that new City one (with the street sweeper piece). TK

What game are we playing at the moment?
The Kid replied to Mr Hobbles's topic in Culture & Multimedia
I caved on Monday and bought GTA IV from Gamestation. Sold the copy that came through the post for £60 - only payed £40 for it originally BRILLIANT game. I'm addicted to it, which is bad seeing as how I have 9 exams left to do... Oh, and I'll PM you my PSN ID, Flitwick. TK -

Also saw River Chase (Indy IV) at Tesco yesterday. No SR. TK -
Speed Racer sets in Woolworths UK

Went in a different one today, they had the Crystal Skull sets but no Speed Racer. I was on the brink of getting the smallest set but grabbed GTA IV instead. TK -
Speed Racer sets in Woolworths UK

I called in yesterday and couldn't see any Indy sets whatsoever. TK -
Okay, here's my last-minute (actually, probably not, considering how many times it's been extended) entry. "It's visiting day at the Chamber! Two bad kids are residing there, forced to watch the Ewok Adventures Christmas Holiday Special repeatedly! A third was lured towards the golden goblet of death, and his corpse has rotted away... but the others have learned from his mistake. The chamber has imprisoned many a warrior... some old, some new... The new prisoner is still frightened beyond his wildest nightmares... tied up and unable to move, yet strangely compelled to look... the medieval bad kid knows the film now... he has been imprisoned there for many centuries. He seems rather... content... with his situation now. But Lord Vader will fix that... The visitors watch as the prisoners are tortured... will they learn their lesson? Who can say...?" TK

Doctor Who, Torchwood, Sarah Jane Adventures...

I saw Rose. Shouting "Doctor!". Although I don't think they should make it so obvious she was there - both times she has appeared the credits show "Rose Tyler - Billie Piper" as the third main character or so. They should make her harder to recognise (well, she was pretty hard to spot in this one i.e. blink and you'll miss it) - at least don't blurt it out in the credits. Anyway, good episode. The explosion at the end was definitely the best SFX I've ever seen on Doctor Who. Oh, and I caught a glimpse of Confidential on BBC Three afterwards. The Sontarans were like that while filming - no special effects added to the actors afterwards (probably not a big thing, but I think it's pretty cool ) TK -
I have to agree with everything Lord Thrawn is saying. Iron Man was just astoundingly good, and there was barely any crappy romance plots thrown in for the sake of it - 5 Star film, see it ASAP TK

TK to Commander Jax: I will gladly join you, my loyal comrade... through hardship and grief our friendship has remained intact... I am making my way to your destination- *kshhhh* No - *kzzz* What are you doing - you - you can't - please- NO!! *kshhhhh* CommandaaaaaaAAaarrrrrr!!! *zzzzzzp* communications end *kshhhhhhhh* Commander Jax, this is my final report. I have little to say, which seems appropriate due to my situation. I will not speak much, but know this. I have not died in vain. You will know why, in time. Goodbye, old friend... *ksshhzzzzzp* TK

The Star Wars Comic Game-Season One
The Kid replied to JimBee's topic in LEGO Mafia and Role-Play Games
Okay, I would like to join this, but I have a rather large problem: my camera is a measly 5 MP and I never seem to be able to get good pics with it. So I can participate, but I don't think I'll be able to contribute pics unless I can get a better camera. TK -
I knew it I still wouldn't pay £40 for it though. TK

Wasn't it $50 before? Methinks it's another case of Dwarves' Mine... TK
