Since the minifigs don't have the ghostbusters logo printed in the arm, do you guys think it would be something useful to have custom pad printed and made available or not? Don't know why Lego didn't do it, being the licenses logo and all. I might do a kickstarter/pre-order type thing for this item alone, if it works others will follow." ---------- Pad is expensive, thats just a fact of the process. THE ONLY way an average legoholic can get professional pad done (at a reasonable price)is if we pool a great number of people around one single project that makes the setup cost affordable. however all of those people will be getting only that one item printed "per setup". (so if we got 8000 arms printed it would be enough for 2000 happy campers 4 arms per box of the official set ) Because each ghostbusters set has need of 4 printed arms it seemed like the perfect project to manage that common ground I spoke above. Like buying a trip as a group versus making your own reservation. Nice trick introducing the guardians criminal rap sheets to the audience so they know what they are dealing with. Did they just say rocket was a LOWER life form?? Have they even met the racoon, lower life form my brick, he's an awesome life form (and a full head of hair too). Groot is looking spot on (house plant and muscle - Funny!). --Now I really want Groot to be a BIG FIG (like the Harry potter troll) instead of brick built like we are getting. Peter "the guy no one else calls star lord", I'll have to wait a few months to wrap my head around that one, he looks good, just not sure about the amount of douchebagginess, maybe it needs 10%extra. Gamora, it's just the chick from star trek in green (maybe they forgot to color correct!!) Now we know how nebula actually looks like, if the minifig is accurate to what we saw here, its going to make a nice villain. And maybe those in the first shot are the Sakaran soldiers?? I'm getting a mixed spinal signal confusion after this trailer, half wants do dance, the other seems to be spasming out in pain.(that song, huh)

It's great that a simple and elegant solution to the original design problem was found as a community, maybe we should launch our own line of Eurobricks branded BttF sets. I'm getting mine next month with the martian, looking forward to it, and will modded it like the ones in here, thanks guys for the tips. I hope mine has the correct flux spelling, I don't like to go to the trouble of getting the replacement, it always feels like such a waste of resources.

They (DC) pretty much came out and said as much, that the changes in lineup of the movies had changed all the licensed plans (for everyone) that had been made. No surprise that Lego had to do some fancy footwork, but since they plan a couple of lines in advance there was at least a broad stroke prelim wave plan to account for that, I don't believe they don't have a little black book of the order they want to release the characters (and the marketing only affects which version of the costumes we get at a given time depending on popularity etc). The sets themselves are a bit more problematic, unless they have something cooked up and waiting in the wings, there will either be a rushed up wave or a delay. I personally prefer that they delay 3 or 4 months and put out a well rounded product than a rush job. Do we have someone who can ask the "Powers that Be(uild)" how the changes will affect the DC line?? Just to get an idea of what is happening in the backstages. PleAAAASE! And I'll join in with those that said they want a Doc Fate, I want a mini helmet of Fate floating in my desk by 2015.

Ha yes the old gif, to the teaser, to the trailer, to the sneak peak, to the pre-screening movie to THE Movie trick. I know it well. Really like the GL design, and to those that suffer from the "Green Lantern non-ownership disorder" this is most welcome. But Making a lantern of a GL is kinda redundant no?? I mean they are always lit up unless they need to recharge the battery, and what brand do we buy for these, double or Triple OA's?? Do we get our own power ring to charge it or is it sold separately, we need to know this kinda stuff. PS: The instructions will say to recharge: point to power socket and say these words, in Brightest day... LOL

You know looking at the pic this looks like a design flaw, the legs always tend to want to bend so having a ridgid front only won't work it needed some sides to make the legs be boxed in so they don't move. Kristof you might try getting a piece of thin clear flexible plastic and superglue it to the connection and the tassels, that way it can flap up and down and it woud give a bit more play. They should look into giving it some reinforcement and re-issuing, its a really nice looking part.

HELLO Good looking (wolf whistle goes here). Just look at that sewer (The cleanest in NY me thinks) Loving this one, might even make it to the top of all the TMNT line. And Shredder looks like a BOSS as he should. The truck is nice and useful for any theme, the small set doesn't look like anything to write home about, the turtles will probably look better in lego form than in the movie since this way they all have the same size and the bandanas and outfits won't look as wild, like what I see so far. BIG Thank you to our resident spies, you are doing a sHell of a job. Was kinda keeping my hopes up for a Whoopie Goldberg minifig, guess not gonna happen, the world NEEDS that hair. Am I RIGHT? You know Swifty I think it's the first time I've heard it put in those terms, thank you for giving me a fresh well rounded argument instead of the usual 2 answers I've seen: A-they know even if the figs aren't that great and detailed they'll sell just the same and they can make better versions of the same design later and collect some more cash or B- It's a price thing, licenses cost more money this one just ins't mature enought for large investments in printing etc etc. I call the first the Conspiracy theory and the second the scrooge theory. But I'm afraid I just don't buy any of the three (like your the best so far), there is no excuse for not doing their absolute best everytime. I mean take wolvie for example the new one could have used some work, maybe some boots by using brown legs with burnt yellow on the legs, didn't need to be a big deal and the quality of the product and demand would go up. The mask is not perfect but at least they made it to fit the head in a way that is pleasing and not give the batman head effect. Nova is a good example he is simple but it shows effort and the mask works perfect both in scale and alignment. PS: And yes I know I'm a printing snob, but it's something that really bugs when I'm customizing, no good boots assortment.

You have to give it to the coon when he brings a gun as big as him to a space fight. Loving the new sets, not too happy about some of the designs on the xmen set. Storms boots off center, no tiara, no red jewel, not epic IMO. Cyc looks a bit plain and did anyone else think the blackbird might make a great batsub modded? And we are still getting very little printing on the minis of the Superhero line specially leg/boot printing, compared to say Starwars or chima, what up with that. GL YEAHHHHHHHHHH! (maybe??? - shhhh, don't scare the lego marketing folks they might keep him for 2020 or something )

With a poster like that and they rip the Terminator's "I'll be BACK" line, if they are going with terminator lines, they should have gone with "hasta la vista Lego fans" (vista is spanish for eyesight) much more apropriate. Hi Vamor, so you had them professionaly printed?? I got the idea they were your own direct work. How many to make the prices reasonable? 20000+ 100000?? I'm very interested in knowing the numbers of that side of the craft, since it's always a bit secret. Anything you can add helps. I'm currently testing a new..ish technique to print minis, at a low cost/per piece but with the difference I can make one of a kind or a boatload, and it doesn't really have any special costs, so whatever I can learn to help me with the calculations is welcome. I'm calling it the voodoo that I do for now, untill I'm sure everyone can do it too. Personal question, since the cost is high, what made you choose that design and not anything else? Just curious.

The girl issues that surrond the whole Lego collecting/building is also a pretty big issue, specially in the beginning of a relationship, if you are a bit older that let's say 16-25 you might get the "you still play with lego/toys" from a potential girlfriend, it's always tricky to manage expectations in the getting to know you phase, specially if she isn't in the scene and gets to your place and sees the little bricks of wonder (even worse if she steps on one Yikes!!!!) Your doomed after that, or not. It takes one hell of a gal to stick with you, thick and thin and brick. The Lego test can be a doozie. I also know at least one guy whose wife left, but it was already a complicated situation and the Lego thing was just the proverbial straw. It tends to go with the blame game from there on. As for the dealer he really should change markets, you can make a pretty penny with lego sets without the Drug dealing, plus you only have to worry with the IRS, not DEA (on second thought maybe he is safer doing what he's doing )

CUUSOO, doesn't work, at least not in any way that benefits the AFOL's and fans in general. It will never live up to the potential it has untill the rules change. Plus the sets that make it end up costing way too much, because of the limited production expectations. Numbers game people I'd prefer a kickstarter with goals and rewards than this, heck I'd prefer a kickstarter with a team (graphic designer a couple of brickarms people, a Christo and a LUG or two) and we could put together a better line of sets custom made for the fans, with printed figs, and instructions (digital or otherwise) where you only needed to get the general parts (BL or sets you own) and the custom pieces are included. Maybe something worth thinking about. Either way I love Ghostbusters, so I'm glad they made it, lets see what happens next. If even half of the voters poney up 150 euros, that's 0.750 of a million euros, I could work with that. Let's see Modular size set (Fire Brigade as the base maybe) with 4-5 figs and a slimer molded part. what do you think??

It will happen, eventually (many many, MANY moons from now). Look at how long it took before star wars started doing the variants and updated characters (the yellow to fleshies rev, etc) Things change give them time and do customs, it's good for your health (specially the mental one, when faced with the lack of variety by TLG) So guys any bets on how many spideys we get next year?? 4-5, any takers, regards.

C'monn Mutant and Green don't be mean. Lego did the skinsuit (the one from the swimming scene/codex matrix chamber). Yes they went the lazy pass by not giving us at least an armor piece to put over.But that's just Biz. This one (DK7) is with the robe on but without the ceremonial lite armor (I actually had to go look at screenshots and toys). It's used only in private with Lara or as avatar for the AI system later on. Then there are two other versions - one is the skinsuit (lego official) but with the badass armor attachments (used against zod) and this one plus the house crest and pauldrons in that brassy color - used in the council hearing. So that right there is a beauty but Lego did good too (Never bite the hand that packages your bricks! - Mom always said ). DK are you going to try Lara too? This one would look great with a back print in the same style and a body piece like the Chima ones with a crest in the chest, maybe a plastic skirt printed with the rest of the robe. Great now you got me going. To the the Printer Robin, up up and away.

That title gosh, worse title ever for a Guy set - Everytime I read it I think Barbie I have the actual set (multiples and love it) and it's worth it (it's better priced on amazon now), but you just need to get one to combine with this beauty and you will be set, don't change anything in the scale and scope, you have a good scale and size for the scenes, but some of the pieces from the set would smooth out some of the blockiness, specially the roof. It would also enhace the workshop area. Looks really good from the cliff side. And no matter what...DO NOT touch the windows, they are perfect like that (mind if I steal? - I mean respectfully duplicate ) Keep calm and Stay Batsy!

Love the artwork, it made me think of how we probably will have to wait a decade for some of those minis to get released. That cover with the Widow, Cap and Brown Wolverine is mouthwatering. I'd buy a set just with that and some villain they could kick around. That would be a Cap mini to be proud of. Do you people think the Classic Loki would re-use the movie headgear or a new piece with poneytail?? (and hope for smaller more curvy horns, that thing was ridiculously big)
