Wow, I can't say I like that Juniors set, then again it is a juniors set. Hopefully this is a green light of Hi-res images coming out for next years wave... and a confirmation for a second would be nice too.

DEFINITELY! I mean army building is an option for SW fans, Castle fans, and now, even CMF fans. It'll b nice if we got the same option too, having a lot of shield agents would come in handy for brick-films as well, you wouldn't have to restrict yourself to the A-List characters that are seen everwhere in Lego.

I honestly don't believe that they'll be able to pull that off without making it $1000, would be nice though, and it would be one of the few outlets to get a Maria Hill minifigure, since her role in the next movies are minor and all the minifigure slots will be taken up by Avengers (that is, if we even get sets based off of Avengers 2 in 2015). Nonetheless it is still a cool idea.

^ Probably just one And I have a question as well, do the Lego club magazine comics only ever show existing minifigs in their shorts? I ask this because the latest issue (that I have at least) shows a Man of Steel comic with Jimmy Olsen in it, and I was wondering if that was a "sneak peek" at a 2014 figure, or does the Lego club magazine sometimes use non-existing characters for their comics? It'll be nice if we get a Jimmy Olsen like the one in that comic.

While I've only shopped on Ebay once, it was for the CMF s6 Intergalactic Girl, and she came sealed in the packet!! I mean, whoever felt her package must have been pretty skilled and confident to send her still in her original bag, it wasn't even torn up or anything. Which leads to my asking, is it usually a "big risk" to order un-opened CMF? And I really want to buy 7931 and 7930 off of BL but have fears as to the condition, so what do you guys suggest for these purchases? I just don't want to come back here with a horror story to tell. -
Sorry guys, I just looked it up and yes, NYTF was in February, I just read somewhere that there was a recent toy fair and assumed... well, I shouldn't believe everything I read online, because that was embarrassing

Agreed, on the bright side, Gamora looks fairly similiar to her comic counterpart, and as does Groot. Since photography was strictly prohibited at the Lego superheroes display at New York toy fair this year, I assume someone got to see prototype GOTG sets!!! And hopefully no Days of future past, GOTG are understandable since they are sort-of obscure, but X-Men really don't need a whole bunch of jackets and reused hear pieces. I want new mold for Mystic, not another one of Black Widow's hair piece.

Well since we have no word yet I say keep it series 12, and if it appears not to be, and the series returns to the original numbering in 2015 (or through the mmorpg), that thread could be called the REAL series 12, or something, agh I guess the name could always be changed in 2014 -

That's not what I mean't, I mean't that comic style would be better for a set, not for the movie!! Haha I totally agree that cartoony and classic would not rub off good on the film, which is exactly (as I've said before) why I don't want them based on the film!

Personally, I'm hoping for the comic variant. I mean it just looks so cartoony and classic, my Lego Marvel collection already does, and I don't need GOTG ruining that, which is why I avoided the Mos sets anyway. 2014 is nt looking like a good year for superheroes, and I don't think Lego would want to ruin that with GOTG, then again its under Disneys control so...

Wow, anyone else here super excited for the supposed saloon? I'm loving every set just like I thought I would, news is really going by fast! And that Ice Cream truck Oooh I just sound like a McDonalds commercial! Because I really am loving it! Also that wierd looking set with Emmet and the flying police car looks like something pulled out of 2002, I'm just not liking it. Great sets overall and I can't wait to see more. And it looks like an even balance of male-female ratio, and building-vehicle ratio. It is just such a great line, and the minifigures are great? It's all too much to handle -
DC or Marvel, and how does this affect your lego shopping?

Hey guys, I noticed we haven't had a thread for this, and I was just wondering: do you prefer DC or Marvel? And does this affect the sets you buy in the superheroes theme (if you collect from that theme, that is). I personally love DC and wish the sets could gear more towards the justice league, or the teen titans rather than just batman. However Marvel has its place in my collection as well, what about you guys? Do you prefer DC/Marvel, but still buy from the opposite theme, or restrain yourself to your preferances?
