gylman, did you buy parts to make your own, or do you have an official copy?
-
There's a link to the thread in the first message of this thread. As mr_phes ;-) I haven't seen any messages by you in the BL forum yet. ???
-
I mean, if I asked the seller if I could get a pic of the whole list of parts that's printed on the polybag, would I get a response from them? I'm sure I could build it, when I've got enough free time...
-
People who are too lazy and don't know better won't buy the parts to make the chest, or any other set that's easy to make. I'll have to see if I can build my own copy of this set. If only I could bet a pic of the full list of parts and quantities... Would I get a response? :-D :-) :-/ :-(

Who are all the Pirate Lego fans on this board?
Governor Broadside replied to Mister Phes's topic in LEGO Pirates
He could mean changing the style of the board from pirates to islanders. -
The wall comes from only two ninja sets http://www.bricklink.com/catalogItemIn.asp?P=30156px1&in=S Such a great building. 8-

Pirate Base That Could Be totally garbage!
Governor Broadside replied to Scouty's topic in Pirate MOCs
I have a bottle that looks just like this one http://www.createforless.com/products/prod...ProductID=57753 -
It doesn't really matter that it has mostly nonshooting cannons (these look better anyway). I mean, Lego flintlocks don't shoot either; that's for your imagination. :-D The older ships do come with shooting cannons in the US. I've gotten 3 Caribbean Clippers from US sellers and each one had a different type of cannon.

Looks really nice, especially with all those cannons. *pirate* How did you get the yellow window frames to fit next to each other? Did you have to remove part of the shutter holders?

Buying Pirate LEGO - where to buy, advice, tips and questions
Governor Broadside replied to Mr. Smee's topic in LEGO Pirates
The first EF I bought was about 85% complete at about US$55 which included shipping. Two months ago I got another one for about the same price but was 99% complete. :-) Between 1 and 2 years ago I won a new one (only problem was that the tape tabs had come off) and sold it for only $150. I almost kicked myself over it when I saw a MISB one on eBay going for over $300 a few months ago; a newb was the highest bidder when I saw it, but could have been outbid. I almost feel like kicking myself for not waiting. :-/- 502 replies

The head comes in these sets http://www.bricklink.com/catalogItemIn.asp?P=3626bpb021&in=S I'd agree with that.

Pirate Base That Could Be totally garbage!
Governor Broadside replied to Scouty's topic in Pirate MOCs
I have this baseplate with two small cracks. The black lines in the green circles are where the cracks are. That one corner is almost ready to come off X-D but the other one is really nothing. Someday I'll try to glue the cracks... I've been thinking about using tacky glue; any opinions on tacky glue? -
I've only come across this after you giving an update... That is an awesome ship! 8-

This is a great MOC; I like the dug-out hole that the treasure chest is in and the bridge (although brown or green string would have been better than white for the "rungs"). The plants on the side of the cliff is really great too.

That's a good use of LURPs and BURPs; they look nice. Wish I could build like that...

Knockoff/Clone/Imitation Brand Pirate Sets
Governor Broadside replied to Mister Phes's topic in LEGO Pirates
Phes, what's the name of this brand? Could help Captain Roger (and the rest of us) find larger images of the pirates. ;-) -
Which set is that? I've never seen that before. Got a pic? I've always thought of Steve/Roy as brothers, and relatives of Red Beard, because of the red beard. One was an honest merchant who worked for Governor Woolhouse(?) at ITP, and the other was a pirate that Red Beard allowed into his crew. BTW, funny story about "Steve". :-D

What happened to PirateBricks.com
Governor Broadside replied to Captain Roger's topic in LEGO Pirates
Of course I do, don't you remember me from PirateBricks? ;-) I can't say if I like the Imperial Guards or Soldiers better; they're both good. -
What happened to PirateBricks.com
Governor Broadside replied to Captain Roger's topic in LEGO Pirates
Now I've just come over here. :-D The only e-mail address I remember for either of the admins on PirareBricks.com was admin@piratebricks.com (think it was webtechie's brother but can't remember their username), but as the site is down, they can't login to the site to check mail sent to that address... Sorry I don't remember the address of the other brother. Anyway, there's still the contact feature on BrickLink to their account there http://www.bricklink.com/feedback.asp?u=kastle_king hopefully that's not the admin@piratebricks.com address
