An eraser has always worked fine for me. Takes a lot of rubbing but in the end it's probably the easiest option.

Great idea! London, ON, (Canada) for me.

Middle-Earth Madness - Mordor Battle Pack vs Amon-Hen [Week 7]
Floundie replied to Blakstone's topic in LEGO Historic Themes
Amon Hen would be awesome. -
I wanted to share this awesome DOS poster I happened across today, and MAN is it ever glorious! What I wouldn't give to have this hanging on my wall...
-
It would certainly take a very skilled designer, or team of designers to pull that off. Minas Tirith is simply a difficult structure to recreate. Nuju Metru's MOC is great, but not quite what a final, sellable model should look like.

Bricks cracking... just from being connected to one another?
Floundie replied to Endgame's topic in General LEGO Discussion
I think I have one cracked cheese slope hanging around somewhere.. -
Middle-Earth Madness - Lothlórien vs Mordor Battle Pack [Week 6]
Floundie replied to Blakstone's topic in LEGO Historic Themes
I'd like more elven structures, so Lothlorien for me. -
Nice, where are the first three pics from?

I would welcome a dwarf filled Erebor since I missed out on a lot of the dwarves from the first wave.
-
I'm pretty sure they know.
-
You'd take Griff over regular Biff??
-
We got pics for last year's LOTR sets there. So i'd say so.
-
Would there be any pics of the Hobbit sets or blank boxes again? Why three pages if there wasn't? And I'm positive those are just wave 2 LOTR sets.

Oh my! Possibly the most disturbing Lego build contest ever...
Floundie replied to Faefrost's topic in General LEGO Discussion
AHAHAHA OH MAN This is going to be one helluva week -
100,000?? I'm working on my own MOC of Minas Tirith in LDD, and I expect the main rock structure, citadel, and inner levels will use something over 2000 parts. The gate 700. Then each wall add-on will be 100 or so parts each. That'll end up being about 37,000 pieces if you wanted to extend the outer walls by 12x.

I'm hoping we'll get a full wave of sets in 2015 to mark the 30th anniversary of the trilogy (well, first film really.) Maybe the UCS Delorean CUSSOO will pass and we'll get that as a D2C set along with a CMF line.. (Like the Simpsons) Think of all the great characters. And just try to imagine a LEGO BTTF game with voices!!!

LEGO Invasion - live-action Lego short film
Floundie replied to andrewmfilms's topic in Brick Flicks & Comics
Terrific! I enjoyed all of your other films as well. -
From brickset's report: To me that sounds like a solid set with an exterior, and not a bunch of loose sections like Moria.

Middle-Earth Madness - Lothlórien vs Prancing Pony [Week 5]
Floundie replied to Blakstone's topic in LEGO Historic Themes
Prancing Pony. A modular medieval inn! Who could say no to that? -
Awesome, thanks ianmrid. The small set can't go wrong with three new exclusive and clamored for figs and Erebor sounds sweet!
-
I hope we at least get to see the old design in the video game in some form.

Nice fit, but TLG might just re-use Frodo hair.

CALLED IT! I guess that rules out everyone's dream: a brick built 1000+ piece Smaug. Even with deskp's suggestion of a T-rex size dragon, I'm certain I will be very disappointed when the first pics crop up. It sounds like at least two sets were showcased, a Dol guldur set and Laketown.

I'm flattered. I may upload the LDD file when it is 100% finished.
