LEGO Minecraft (Minfigure Scale) 2014 Rumors and Discussion
Floundie replied to just2good's topic in Special LEGO Themes
Is there really no new news on the minifig scale sets? The micro sets don't interest me mostly because of the horrible price point (seriously, $45?) I am counting on the minifig scale line to have more reasonable prices as i assume it will be a more widely released run of sets? -
Very cool! First time i've seen a tire used as a cauldron, it looks really good!
-
Well a lake town army builder would be useful, lots of guards and parts for custom lake town buildings.
-
Okay to be honest I was expecting that. There was a mini balrog in lego LOTR after all. Also, I know it's a small error, but his 'wings' are seperate from his arms.
-
Excuse me, but US and Canadian prices have been established at NYTF.

Funny that kevkipo mentioned DLC and voila. The river troll looks funny with that beard and ponytail and the story behind it is also funny. There's no way that will be appearing in a set. The dwarf though, you see the printed armor, I'm not sure I like it. I hope they don't go that way in the sets. By the way, the color looks black but as you can see from the hands I believe it's dark grey.

I'm wondering if I missed out on LR sales. In particular I'm looking for the Constitution, so any in-store sales that you know about? My TRU still has it at full price, but I wanted to check here before I just went ahead and grabbed it. Thanks.

I think It's quite reasonable to expect only 4 figs in Lake Town, only Mirkwood army had a $35 price tag and more than 4 figures. So then these are my choices: Bain, Alfrid, and Bard's daughters. Bolg can go in the BOFA set, that way there's an important character for Dain to fight.

Can you believe I'm still stuck on the final boss of the original. I'm ashamed. I beat Oddworld: Abe's Oddysee a week ago (good ending) so I'm all set to download Abe's Exoddus. I used to own it some years ago until my parents threw it out. Now, years later I found Oddysee at a thrift shop for 5 bucks! So that's what resparked my interest in the series. I also bought Minecraft on PSN recently, been having fun with that.

Now that's something! I think that will do for me, thank you!

Edit: Nevermind about my request, I've decided to handle it on my own.

It is, I thought you were talking about when we will see finalized pics of all the sets. Since that was October for wave 2, two months earlier would be August. But we still don't know for sure if the release hasn't been pushed to December.
-
I think you mean august? If we only see one set at SDCC though, I'm certain it will be Erebor. If we look at the past reveals, Bag end and Lake town both turned out to be (arguably) the best sets of their respective waves. I don't know about you, but a giant Erebor playset with Smaug doesn't sound like something that could be one-upped by... another Lake town? I doubt BOFA would..
-
I think the blue version will be in Erebor, but hopefully we also get him in armor too. Btw, we got a glimpse of the blue version from the game trailer: And on a TABA blu-ray exclusive fig, I find it unlikely since DOS will just have the Legolas polybag. A visual dictionary could definitely include old Bilbo though.

So I hear.

Here are some crappy reference pics for the placement of the ramp in the film, if it helps.

$50, so around $45 USD. It's not that bad, but as you say I am kinda on the fence about it. If i don't find it on sale I'll just end up picking it up though.
-
Sure thing! Here it is in LDD: It's really only the basic shape, a lot would be reworked so it's sturdy enough and more accurate to the film. I had an idea for a feature where gold 1x1s could be released onto the ramp with a lever. Maybe you'll be able to make that possible on your version.

Nice job! I started my own MOC of the forges a while ago, not sure if i'll ever get back to that. Best to wait and see if 79018 includes the forges or not.

Lego Hobbit Video Game Exclusive Minifigure Announced
Floundie replied to mrfootball's topic in LEGO Historic Themes
Is it likely the fig could pop up in stores later on? Like how Wal-Mart had a Lego Marvel bundle with the Iron Patriot fig. -
Smaug's head is really disappointing. Way too stubby and round. Ugh....
