So, just curious, has anyone pre-ordered yet? I just preordered both Doctor Who as well as the Cyberman and Dalek pack.

I'm so glad you brought up this topic because as someone who went through the whole "ben 10" flop, as it's an interesting point. Although I like your ideas for a minifig version, as many have pointed out, some of the aliens have very weird connections that probably could not be done at that scale. If we're talking about the original show, for example, how would you do wildmutt? Or xlr8? Both have very unique designs not compatible (so far that i know) with the minifigure scale. I would suggest constraction, but as you know, I don't quite think that that's going to work again. Not to mention, as other people have been saying, the original generation that grew up with it (my generation, but I don't think I'm that much older than you) have grown up and are now teenagers and adults. So already the demographic is gone. Now, I'm not usually a debbie-downer, so here's a little "optimism" if it warrants it.... of course there's been news that the show is receiving a reboot (http://ca.ign.com/articles/2015/06/08/ben-10-reboot-coming-to-cartoon-network , though no surprise considering how w**red out the once-great Man of Action is), so it may be possible that LEGO will re-launch Ben 10 at the minifigure scale. Though even if they did I would never buy it. Can't beat the original, and you never will. Sadly Man of Idiocy-er, I mean "Action" will never understand that.

"The game is on!" Check out the whole scene here! A collaboration between the amazing Hacim Bricks and myself. A few months ago I was approached by the Canadian National Exhibition to do a piece for their Sherlock Exhibit. Luckily Micah and I both happened to be huge fans of the BBC Series so we ended up doing a collab together! Enjoy! . Logo. "come on John, the game is afoot!" Also thanks to my friend Yehezkel for letting me borrow his camera for the photos ^_^

Hey, we won't turn you down! Seriously though, you're welcome to our lug anytime. We take strays and turn them into celebrities ;) Not just from Canada, but from the same LUG too, and we're great friends in real life! We both have a passion for THUNDERBIRDS! *Edit: Also listen to Doc Spock. He knows what he's talking about!

Just started watching Gundam X recently. It is now officially my new favourite Gundam series. Can't really explain why, but my money is one how wicked cool the Double X is... -
I think the final three levels are probably just brand new one-off worlds, considering the villain of the game is a specially created one. Also, just picked up on the hype today. Wasn't really interested at first, but after seeing the comiccon trailer, I've already pre-ordered the portal and doctor who game packs. Too bad I'll be in school and wont have time to play until winter break. *goes to a corner and cries*

Last time I checked the admittance standard is that you have to be a fan of lego, and your initiation ceremony is lighting fire to whatever megabloks you have. ;) All jokes aside that's really strange. What's the lug you applied to? I may know someone in there. Sometimes people are busy and it takes a while to get back. Sometimes they may need a push or recommendation. Whatever the case, try again. Most local lugs aren't really discriminatory... I do know some lugs have rules about maximum membership allowed, so it may be that the lug is full. You like LEGO, so I don't see any lacking qualifications that I would have. Whatever the case may be, keep trying. You seem like a chill person. ;) Good luck! Hopefully someone with more experience will read this and help you out.

Doctor Who, Torchwood, Sarah Jane Adventures...

I was thinking more Gallifrey since he has to go find it, but I can't say I won't be pleasantly surprised if it is. :D The only thing I found off-putting was how... "intense" the trailer is. Almost too intense. Not enough goofy stuff. Though I'm sure we'll get our fair share during the season :D -
Very heart-breaking news. Yet another great man lost to the winds of time. Hopefully I got that phrase right. :(

My wallet can't take much more of this! As Tim said, a CMF line would be absolutely ridiculous. Then again, they DID do the Simpsons.... Can I just take a moment to say that I am literally balling my eyes out with joy at every little piece of new info that gets posted to this thread from SDCC? I have waited for LEGO Doctor Who for forever.... As for the Dalek, it looks meh, but holy moly bajoly, did you guys see the Dalek Emperor in the trailer??! Wow.... so, who's up to the task of re-creating it in real life? ;)
