I hear ya -- we have Iris and Plast team (and loads of others ) and stacking and/or organizing can be a pain. We recently went through a move, so it's even more evident then (cuz we want everything to 'stack' right?). While I like the variety of Iris, my experience is the quality is not the best; we had to get rid of the rack frame of the six drawer work station set due to it cracking and leaning And a few of the cases themselves have cracks, which leave jagged edges on the place were one puts fingers to 'open' case. Sigh. The Plast team containers are very solid and doubt would ever crack. Of course, we pay for that too, right? Yet, they are also heavier empty -- and even more heavy when filled with bricks!! For me, I'm holding out hopes these new ones will be a good middle-ground in cost and durability. Also, they do come with sort trays. The opposite side of one container has the graphics "Building girlpower" just like the notebooks, shirts, etc.

Love it! Great use of a sand green building set and the size is a nice way to vary a row of houses/buildings. It looks very natural and easily imagined on a real street! Welcome to EB -- hope to see more of your builds -- and as others have said, even more pics of this build by itself, from different angles

Thanks -- only in LEGO can a camper van turn into a Gazebo, right? I'm glad you like the doorway -- I was hoping the shape of the opening would soften the studs on the white door, since I chose not to tile it. Very happy you like the Gazebo too. That set comes with so many blue diamond window pane windows, it seemed a shame to not use them somehow Thanks for your compliments!

For any interested fan of Friends and/or parents of fans of Friends -- new brick storage containers with theme graphics are on the way (reports say June): LEGO Friends brick storage containers by STORE by FriendsBricks | FriendsLUG, on Flickr And there's plenty more "Gear" on the way ... a sure sign theme is around to stay beyond 2013

TOR III Entry (R3): Happily Ever After
LegoMyMamma replied to Purpearljellyblob's topic in Pirate MOCs
Hello Kitty thong made do a double-take, then laugh Also the MuffinMen are great. Plus the way some fig heads are enlarged -- very fun comics! Overall, I love the story and was really easy for me to follow ... wonder what that says Good luck! -
Thanks LT ~ as always, building alternate or modifying has a few restrictions

Gee, perhaps it's because you're an American tween boy. Considering this theme is aimed at girls age 6-12

Didn't mean to infer you inferred was just trying to be brief in my comments. What I wonder is what aspects of the 'any' of the CITY hospitals appeal or don't appeal to your daughter. How would she build one? Would she emphasize the heli pad, or perhaps moreso the Gift Shop for visitors to buy items of comfort for being in the hospital? That's really what I am curious about. to: Haltiamieli Here are a few Castle flavored MOCs by some Friends fans: Royal Pavilion & Emma's Cool Castle So, even with what's available now, Friends can be medieval

What a great surprise to demonstrate just how much Winter Village places can be adapted! Well, now you have to take my reservation The cellar is so unexpected. The back balcony is exactly in keeping with that style of Lodge too. Great lighting, thanks for sharing!

A soccer set like this one? So the most recent CITY Hospital isn't of interest to her? So the most recent CITY Hospital isn't of interest to her? How would she like it to be different for Heartlake City?

I'd like to see a Train set with PF controls to get more girls into motorized things -- they could use its system to make other motorized vehicles or contraptions. Plus, for getting around Heartlake City! Certainly a Mountain Chalet to go up on Clear Spring Mountain would be nice -- for skiing & snowboarding It would also be nice to have a Commnity Center for activites outside of school or cafe settings. Since they can utilize Town/CITY hospitals, fire station & police, they don't really need those sets ... or do they?

That Friends sets have been cloned is another sure sign of their success I do like the rounded display window (on left) of that Wange set, but not much else. Thanks for sharing. Also, here is EB member fallentomato's photo comparing the torso & arms of the Mini-Dolls: Minidoll dimorphism by fallentomato, on Flickr No doubt the new boy Mini-Dolls have this same torso as Peter.

Yeah, I'd buy this as a set! I already commented on Flickr about the clockwork & lifting roof being nice -- there are so many lovely details, such as all the arches. Best of luck!

Yes, and we've posted some other fun toy fair pics on our News page. (Airports have never been 'Friend-lier' )

The sand green is so lovely for this type of building -- it truly reminds me of a mountain Village setting, where some stores are Victorian-era structures and serve as owner residence too. Best of luck!
