LEGO Ninjago 2021
Aethersprite replied to The Brick Boss's topic in LEGO Action and Adventure Themes
Yeah I've seen that list, but it gives no indication whatsoever of what the sets will be themed around. -
LEGO Ninjago 2021

Any rumours on what Winter 2022's theme will be? Last year we got underground knights and video games, this year was an island setting and undersea... You know, 2021's themes are broadly similar to the Mask of Life storyline we got in Bionicle - Voya Nui (island setting) followed by Mahri Nui (undersea). Maybe a swamp theme in 2022 if we follow the pattern with Karda Nui? -

Agreed, these are the 2 sets I'm most excited for. So glad that the Dragon Flyer's cockpit can be articulated as we saw in the Black Panther movie. -
These sets are absolutely amazing. I love the wacky subtheme! Also, Kai's Mech Jet really reminds me of Exo Force. Looking forward to more pics of it!

I love how crazy Ninjago sets can get and the new 2020 sets are no exception. Love the general vibe and colours the sets are giving off. For Kai's Mech Jet, it's not transformable, is it? It looks like you have to disassemble the Jet to get the Mech.

LEGO Star Wars 2020 Set Discussion - READ FIRST POST!!!

I'm surprised they put 2 hard-to-find figures - the new helmeted Kylo and Zorri Bliss - in cheap Microfighter sets! That's a pleasant surprise, and I'm definitely picking both up. As for the Duel on Mustafar, it looks really ugly... I love the side T-shaped build that looks like it's dipped halfway in lava, but the lava itself looks so... childish? They should have used more orange and translucent pieces instead of red and yellow. Quite disappointing. -

The Mandalorian has his own personal ship as seen in the trailer/poster, so we might get that as a future set! -
LEGO Star Wars 2019 Set Discussion - READ FIRST POST!!!

I'm more excited about the Falcon's better-proportioned mandibles than its gapless exterior! The mandibles on every main release Falcon to date - sans the original 1999 release and the two UCS - have had tiny mandibles. Finally! So excited to see how Lego will continue to improve this new design. For people who own the previous Rogue One AT-ST, what are the differences between that and the new Mandalorian AT-ST (other than the obvious colour changes)? It looks like the exact same model to me, but I don't own the RO version. -
Launchers made their debut in Bionicle in 2004 and then full-scale in 2005. In 2006, it seemed that launchers had completely replaced the gear function we had in sets - for the main canister sets, at least. So, which one is your favourite? Why? Here's a list. 2004: Kanoka disc launcher 2005: Rhotuka spinner 2006: Zamor sphere launcher (with or without Inika add-on) 2007: Squid launcher 2007: Cordak blaster 2008: Midak Skyblaster 2008: Tridax pod 2008: Nynrah Ghostblaster 2009: Thornax launcher For me, it's either the Rhotuka or the Nynrah. Both have one thing in common: They're brickbuild. The Midak and Cordak were great blasters, really cool, shot far and hard, but they weren't brickbuilt. Plus, the Rhotuka spinner is the only vertical launcher - I remember competing with my cousin when I was young to see who could keep his spinner longest in the air. The Nynrah, on the other hand, wins it for me in terms of design and its simplicity. Air pressure is awesome. :) What do you think?

Wow, that's incredible news! I saw that leak but I'd thought that it'd be for Episode 9. Hope the sets don't disappoint! -

Wait... are we confirmed to be getting sets from The Mandalorian? -
Hello! I'll be visiting the US next month, and I'll mainly be in New York/Washington DC/Boston. I'm not looking to make any big Lego purchases, but I'm hoping to pick up a couple of small sets. I'm primarily looking for 41629 Brickheadz Boba Fett and maybe a few polybags, like 30452 Iron Man and Dum-E. Any recommendations on where I can get these sets, and at good prices perhaps? Thanks in advance!

Good places to purchase Lego in the US?
Aethersprite replied to Aethersprite's topic in General LEGO Discussion
I see. Thanks for the tips! I'll look for them near the checkout lines. Oh, I hadn't realized that. That's a pity. I'll still try to keep a lookout for it! -

Aethersprite replied to Anonknee Muss's topic in LEGO Licensed
I understand why Lego did the inaccurate sets, but it makes me crave for a second wave of Endgame sets even more. The inaccuracy hurts even more since we've been getting more movie-accurate sets over the past couple of waves like for Civil War and Infinity War (and no more Mandarin golf carts!). -

This. If you do want more comments and criticism (and recognition...) for your work, you can try posting them to the Lego subreddit on Reddit. I've seen many LDD posts get lots of comments and upvotes there. -

Ah, I see. I'll try to hit up Walmart and Target, then. Do they stock up on polybags as well? Thanks for your detailed response, by the way! -

Lego is sold extensively in my country, but the two sets I mentioned are harder to get / more expensive on the after-market. I'm also hoping to pick up a Lego souvenir from the US, anyway. Thanks for the replies! I've seen that places like Walmart tend to have big sales - where would I get information on those? -
Oops, my bad. That's really soon though - I'm surprised we haven't seen any pictures yet.

When are the new sets due to be released? June?

The FFH sets are SO much better than the Endgame sets. I actually really like all of them, but the Hydro Man set is the standout. I can't believe they got one of the most recognizable bridges in Venice in a Spidey set! -
Are the 4 new leaked minifigs coming in the same set?

The Hall of Armour is the only must-buy set for me. Everything else is so disappointing. How much is the Hall of Armour going to cost in USD? -

This can't be iterated enough. Kids aren't going to be nostalgic over the old JP movies; a new TV series would catch their attention for sure. -
