I think I can reveal this as it being public is important, particularly if I die. Ari was the investigator before he got flipped.
-
Welp, that does it. I've been fighting the wrong fight. Unvote: Gopher (zepher) vote: ari (shadows) For the record, this does not clarify everything. There are still 2 investigator claims out there and I know mine is still very possibly real.
-
Before, actually before the day thread was posted. Also, my source speaking in thread would likely be a death warrant for him. I fully expect to die tonight, regardless of Ari's affiliation. If he's town then my knowledge is dangerous, if he's scum it'll protect their "source". I've taken appropriate measures to prepare.
-
I know that I was told Ari is cleared from a source I choose to believe. If it's not true, I'll reveal my source quickly. I think there's a chance there's an insane investigator or some such gimmick. I also want to know why Glen was contacted by an investigator. Also, ya you're completely right on this account.
-
You're so scummy. What makes you think he's already not claimed in private? Just cuz he didn't talk to you doesn't mean he's not talked at all. What's funny is that if I'd revealed my info before the bandwagon started, you'd have all listened to me instead. Literally, this bandwagon formed so quickly which should bother some of ya.

I'm explicitly defending Ari. I have been contacted by a conflicting source and given extremely likely proof that Ari was not investigated last night. Whats the likelihood of 2 investigators? Is it ever a scum role? I can't imagine Glen (whitefang) would kill himself to lynch one townie, so either Glen is being played, we have a insane-50/50 investigator (not impossible), the scum out trying to draw an investigator claim, or I'm being lied to by my source. So for now, I'm actually leaning town on glen. However, I don't trust Gopher. This guy came out of nowhere to support a vote that, at the time, looked insane. Additionally, he offered no further support in his logic. His action is scummy in my eyes and thus: vote: Gopher (zepher) I really hope to here some feedback on all this and that everyone doesn't just settle. This is a big day 2 moment.

Nah I've got 3 suspicions...2 of them already voted (neither is you). I'll put my case out there when I get to sit down in a few hours. I'm reading a script at the moment (aka driving).
-
Umm...what's going on? In one line you're attacking a vote and then in the next your making the same vote. So far I've seen no logic in these 2 votes. Literally both of you have cast the most lakeluster, unlogical votes. In looks like two scum trying to build a case together while distancing themselves from each other. Make a case and you might have my support!
-
"Based on the above input" What was said prompting this vote? You didn't quote him or analyze anything he said. In fact, the only other post I've seen from you today said you have to collect your thoughts before sharing. Then you showed up and offered no thoughts, then voted for someone with absolutely no logic behind it.

As I said above, for now I think we should follow the simplest explanation that the town stopped the kill somehow. However, I want to point out that if it is a recruitment I can't think of any reason to assume it's a failed one.
-
It's easy to defend a dead townie infer their allegiance is revealed, but the reason for the lynch was pretty clear. Even as a townie Fostuud was a distraction. Also, it's possible the scum have a weird killing mechanism but for now I think a simple solution is more likely. A block is much more common.

If we need 9 I'll change. I'd prefer a lynch of an inactive over no lynch at all. Unvote: Brick Affleck (actor builder) Vote: Bob Fosstud (patrat) Hold my Brick , I'm going on! (Reddit reference for those who don't know)
-
Except now, they know we'll suspect a well crafted statement so they'll coach him to sound like a newb
-
I know day 1 votes are tough, but what do you expect holding off will help? You can always change your vote, but it's unlikely there's gonna be much substance today beyond speculation.
-
I thought the whole "no day 1 lynch" think was finally resolved. It was often a hiding mechanism for scum. Since we're throwing accusations around: Vote: Brick Affleck (Actor Builder)

So we can't leave huh?? Well ain't this just a fine picture. And someone in here didn't take a sho...*sniffs* Never mind.

BRICKYWOOD: Scum in La La Land Mafia - Sign Ups!

I'd given up on this ever happening again, but you brought me back! (Hi old friends)1) Have you ever played Mafia before, and what's your experience? If not, have you read some of the games we've had on here? Ya, should be in my sig. 2) Can you commit to the game timewise. probably not but sure3) If you could be part of the glitz and glamour (and ugly side) of these things called motion pictures, what would you want to be? hmmm...camera man maybe -
We all hope so but it takes tremendous effort to host so it may be awhile.

General Discussion and Announcements
jluck replied to Dragonator's topic in LEGO Mafia and Role-Play Games
I echo that question, I fear that mafia is a dying breed... -
I'll give it a shot for ya.

I batted around a few ideas but never was 100% sure enough to contact anyone. Once the town had confirmed a scum player I decided against making contact because at that point I had nothing to gain and didn't want to change my game style.
-
Nice! This game definitely needs to be ran again. As gf I decided early on that I wouldn't make any attempt to contact my teammates. It was too high a risk and I feel would have actually weakened my cover. As it was, I was completely in the dark making conjectures just like the rest of you, which made my cover stronger. Also, I discarded a town policy as mayor which I feel was likely a mistake but it's hard to say. Here's a thought, wonder if there's some type of mechanism we could put in place where mayors or TCCs could chose an action instead of passing the policy. I don't know if that'd be a worthy trade but it's an idea.

I trust me. yes
