LEGO Collectable Minifigures Series 11 Rumours & Discussion
jluck replied to CM4Sci's topic in Special LEGO Themes
I can see accessories such as the tiki mask, Bavarian hair if it has pigtails, and the new cat being of interest in the future, especially if they don't appear in other releases. (Though in the case of the cat I doubt we've seen the last of it) -
The work around the eyes are tremendous! You really captured the spirit of the movie.

This outpouring of advice is tremendous, and a lot of fun! I think making a brikfilm is an awesome thought, I may just do it! Also, making a poll would be neat, maybe this post could help others as well:) And if all else fails, I will post certainly do a hidden camera on the announcement!

Forgive me if this has been asked. I'm working on a brickflick and I want to have a 5-10 sec scene of a crowd at a concert. I'm just unsure on how to film in a way that won't take an eternity and I can keep track of movements, the latter being more important. Any advice on filming crowd shots?

Haha look at all this amazing advice! Thanks! I have a fleeting suspicion she already knows but if I'm going to start in earnest I'll have to tell her straight. I think I may break it by asking for a set for my birthday coming up, that'd start a conversation. I'm sure she'll be receptive, I've done worse (I'm looking at you beanie babies).

Hey! I'm working on brickfilms myself. Really what you need Is an array of parts. A good start is just a box with pieces, a city set, and (as has been said) bricklinks. I use baseplates for backgrounds and pick up a few special "scene" pieces online but mostly use bricks from a box of generic bricks.

This seems highly likely. I will try to think of a list, but I would love to see some more historic and musical figures.

LEGO Collectable Minifigures Series 11 Rumours & Discussion

I am thrilled to see some physical pictures, really all I'm waiting for now is WhiteFangs review. I'm kind of surprised at a lot of the dislike the lady robot is getting. She's not my favorite but the key in the back is a cool piece and the placement of the designs on the front are actually pretty amusing! -

Lots of folk music, we played a show last night with a band called The Vespers who were just tremindeous! Also, The Punch Brothers are my all time favorites.

1. What is your favorite Collectible Minifigure? The bagpiper 2. Will you be able to post on a daily basis over the next month or two? Shoot ya! I've got this page bookmarked! 3. Can you keep up with 24 hour night action deadlines? I am the night:) 4. I almost forgot to ask for your experience! I'm afraid to say I don't have any experience:/ after reading through some past games I wanted to give it a go. If that will hurt the game I understand, I can wait for my time down the brick road. 5. Will you be ready to experience whatever horror the simplicity of my first hosting experience brings? Only if your ready to experience whatever horror I may bring in my first experience playing! -
LEGO Collectable Minifigures Series 11 Rumours & Discussion

I'm going to hold my judgement until I hold the figures but it is definitely great! I usually compare to Series 7, which I loved. What really amazes me is that even after some have complained that TLG is carrying this theme too far, they can still come out with a series that everyone loves! -
I love the design, it has the feel of a standard Lego set. But to be honest the part that really caught my eye were the dumpsters, pretty cool!
-
Very ambitious and creative! I really love your attention to detail. Honestly, this is one of the most realistic MOCs, judging from the brick design, that I've seen, love it!

I'm game to giving this a shot! I've really enjoyed my time on this site and would like to contribute more. I have all that is required to begin. Thanks in andvance!

Agreed, the Gingerbread Man has a unique head for sure. Has Series 11 appeared anywhere other than Poland? BTW thanks everyone for their posts, I am seeing so much more by reading everyone's comments! -
I usually don't wander into this forum but I this desplay pulled me in! I love it! The setting for the train was great as well.

LEGO Collectable Minifigures Series 11 Rumours & Discussion

Since it seems like the thing to do, here's what I'm thinking... Full discloser, I love the CMF series but I'm also broke so I have to choose carefully the ones I get. Yeti - It's cool, just not my cup of tea Evil Mech - Has a bit of a retro feel to it. Welder - Actually one of my favorite city characters, I may end up springing for this one. Lady Robot - I likely won't get it, though I do love the key in her back. Jazz Musician - YES YES YES! I will certainly be getting this, I love the Blues Brothers look/ Constable - Exactly the kind of officer I was hoping for, the night stick completes the look. Holiday Elf - The elf teeth kind of scare me... Bavarian Lady - Rather interesting, I do like the apron. Scarecrow - So unique, I can't wait for this one. Mountain Climber - He is definitely a step up over the skydiver, the rope is a nice touch. Grandma - I was rather disappointed with her, but she does look very much like many grandmas I've seen, plus it was the first one my wife liked. Tiki Warrior - The mask is awesome, I want one. Gingerbread Man - I am impressed with TLG stepping out just a bit with this one. And we get two holiday characters in this series, very nice! Barbarian - He kind of looks like Mel Gibson, rather boring though. Dinner Waitress - I see what they were going for, but the yellow almost makes her look naked. Really could have been so much more. Scientist - As good as a scientist can get I reckon. In closing, here's what I will be getting. Must have:Jazz musician, Tiki Warrior, Scarecrow Would like: Welder, Constable, Gingerbread man Avoiding: Robot, Evil Mech, Waitress, Barbarian Now I'm going to start reading the opinion of everyone else...this should be fun! -

I love the "hoody" element shown here but I can't help but to wander if certain tense situations in Florida may not delay such a piece being created...- 2626 replies
