That's really fun! The roof is awesome and the smoke is a nice detail.

Really love this! The way it appears patched together is really creative, well done!

Wow, you've done it again! Honestly, I am amazed with how you track down all of this information.

Ok so you'll notice I haven't updated the first section of the film, since I wanted to build off of your advice. I did however add to the video using your suggestions. My focus was to get more close up shots, change scenes often, and smooth out my animation. My walk cycle is more clearly visible when the couple embraces. There is one zoomed out shot near the end which I haven't fixed, but i do hope this video improves on my prior work. I attempted a camera pan, it's rough but I wanted to see what I was capable of manually doing. As always, your feedback is more than welcome as its the only thing that's gotten me this far, thanks! P.S. Darkdragon, thanks for the lesson, I've been working on better focused shots. http://youtu.be/O927AXwochA

Have fun! The Star Wars forum will always entertain.

I haven't been able to find one:/ what I've ended up doing is searching for expensive pieces and then searching the same shop for additional pieces. Maybe a more experienced shopper can drop us a hint.

Haha that's a lot of work to do with jack:) the CMF detective would be a good figure for it, the video looks great!

Ok let's see (forgive me for any repeats) 1)A violinist or conductor 2) A bank teller-a cool visor hat and cash or credit card 3) Fast food worker- teen with a bag 4)Hurling player, or more realistically a rugby player 5)Russian national or Canadian mountee (spelling is suspect on this I know) 6)Beatles type musician 7)Barber with clippers 8) janitor with mop 9) Plato/ Socrates These are my best for now!

Amazing how such a small detail as a birdhouse can really make the moc perfect!

I hope I am not jumping to conclusions but this seems a bit fishy. 3 posts in 5 minutes and no substance until this, hmmm...

Thank you for such a detailed post! It really shows your whole thought process.

The LEGO Movie Sets News and Discussion
jluck replied to Itaria No Shintaku's topic in Special LEGO Themes
I feel tentative basing too many character predictions for the CMF line off I the trailer. The movie may not even contain all of the characters shown and there may still be major characters that haven't been revealed. The joys of early speculation...:)- 2626 replies

Ok I've got a better one than last time: The minifigure series really needs more skiers and snowboarders.

LEGO is alright, but there were way better when they only made wooden toys! (Best I've got at the moment, I'll work on a better one soon)

I love it! I'd love to see an updates with some of the suggestions above, particularly the stained glass window!

Really well done! Not only is the church a great recreation, the design for its display is just awesome!

You guys are great, taking the time to assist me! I'm going to go over the lesson and see what I can learn. For now I'm working on a limited budget, but the advice I'm getting is so practical and straight forward so I think can really improve. Edit: I love the lesson, really helpful. Is there anything I can do as a filmer to pass? The assignment was for comics. I should be posting a video update soon.

Well done, far more ability than anything I could do at that age. I was happy if my colors were similar! -

It began on a dark night, a shadowy character emerged from the alley. "Hey kid", he hissed, "I heard your looking for a good time". The child nods, stepping closer. The dealer smiles, knowing he's found a foothold. "Have you ever experimented with LEGO?" The child shudders, stepping back. "My mom told me to stay away from those things" he whimpers. "Your mom is trying to take away your fun! Do you always do what she tells you? Why it's only one little brick." comes the response. Naively, the child reaches out, never to be the same. First, it's Duplo, but before long that isn't enough! Soon he is experimenting with Star Wars, Architecture, and *gasp* Technic! It's a sad journey that spirals towards AFOL-ness, a sad journey indeed.
