Yep, makes complete sense. I didn't consider the investigation. So I'd say Ralph is my vote for the next TCC.
-
So I've been assuming too that Ralph is town. As scum his and Joshua's interaction makes no sense. However, at least theoretically, Ralph could still be the GF. This is unlikely but possible. Joshua knew he'd be called out for his passing the Mafia policy, therefore, he saw a WIFOM opportunity. He could attack Ralph knowing that later he could clear Ralph by fessing up that he (Joshua) was scum. Then Ralph would be a trusted town player. I find it unlikely, but I'm not ready to put Ralph into the TCC either.
-
Yep, now that we know joshua is scum he's as good as dead. We can use our vote to keep him out of power and his opinion won't count for much Plus, he can't be the GF right? Since he was just the TCC, if he was the GF the game would be over.

True, so we only wait for the PM. Joshua, ball's in your court...
-
Given that Ralph PMed Joshua and Bob did not intact any penalty for the move, I think we've just confirmed Ralph is scum.
-
Huh. Pardon me for not being thrilled that you passed a scum policy on the hope that you found the godfather.
-
We know that we had 2-3 scum cards yesterday and likely 1 scum card the day before, even factoring in the quite plausible chance for lies. So if the scum team is in the mayoral position, the chance of them getting 3 scum cards is slim.
-
Considering the unlikeliness of drawing 3 scum cards, as well as my trust for this tcc, I vote yes.
-
My bet is that if our mayor was scum, he'd not nominate the godfather first day first time, but that's just my current working hypothesis. I've been busy the last few days, so I'm going to withhold my vote until I've had time to get a grip on the current situation. However, my current instinct is to vote yes.
-
All of this logic is screaming into a vacuum if our beloved mayor doesn't rejoin us.
-
Wait, what's this? How have you seen his pm?
-
Hu-zah!!! Thanks host, seems like a good tweak.

As I recall someone saying earlier, we don't find the allegiance of the dead, correct? This, I think, would do a great disservice to the game mechanics IMO. Bob, would you consider revealing the deads allegiance? Here's my case: if we don't find out the allegiance, the kill is useless. Even if there's a player universally seen as scum, killing them only prevents them from serving in government which is precisely what a vote does. So a kill with no alignment just results in one less player and no real change in gameplay in the later rounds. Conversely, a revealed allegiance gives us discussion material not only about previous governments but about the current mayor as well. So Bob, even if it's a break from the "real" game I hope you'll consider this modification.
-
At this point I think it's safe to say I trust just about no one. Do we have a way to overrule the kill? A mayor passing scum policies isnt necessarily someone I want controlling a kill.
-
yes For some reason I had it in my head that Lindsey was being nominated for TCC and might not get a chance to control the cards, she'll make a great mayor.
-
I, for one, trust Lindsey. But the most likely hand (probability speaking) is 2 scum 1 town. Lindsey could theoretically never have a chance to choose a town card.
-
My concern is that the lies could literally be anywhere. All the way back on day one we decided that 2 scum cards had been discarded, but it's quite possible 1 town card was discarded that day. My point being that our calculations could have been thrown off pretty much any day we were told a scum card was discarded.
-
That's not good. 3 scum cards was impossible IMO so I'm very curious as to your explanation.
-
Sure, just don't screw us I don't see any reason we should get a scum card, just sayin. yes
-
That makes more sense
-
I'm confused with what you're saying here... You think everyone should have automatically voted yes for someone we don't trust?
-
Yep, let's see what else Bob has to offer. There's no reason to risk it. no
-
No matter how I calculate, I assume we've got at least one town card left. Let's use our vote to force in the mayor we want and we shouldn't have any problem getting the town card passed.
-
I received two scum and one town card. I passed on the town and scum cards. That should mean we have either 1 scum and 1 town card left or 0 scum and 2 town left. Also, I'm fairly comfortable with Erik in future governments. Sorry, I didn't specify above. I discarded one of the scum cards (I think that was clearly insinuated but just to clarify)
-
Ok, let's try this one then: I nominate Erik Kelly (Umbris) as my TCC. I like that he is following along and I want to see what he'll do if given the opportunity to make a choice.
