I think I have like 17 of them in total lol! yea! the 4 minifigures worth around 12 dollars, horse 1 dollar, horse barding 6 dollars, shields another dollar. That is 20 dollars already. throw in the horse helmet, weapons, and all those other bricks and its an incredible deal. You could throw out all the bricks and still get your money's worth! EDIT: Someone bought all of the mounted knights. =(. Oh well 6 is still more than my 4 lion knight horse bardings. I have way more dragon knight horse bardings though. I will just have to buy masses of the good knights then. he still has over 400 of that.

I thought I posted this but apparently I did not. For small factions you can have them all be part of the same kingdom but as rival warlords fighting each other for supremacy over the land. Like real life armies did until everyone became united as nations. And plus there are mercenary groups. They probably liked having their own symbols and gear. I am sure in medieval ages all the vassals and lords had their own equipment and flags. Although I wonder how the smaller armies competed with the huge ones.

I read the fine print, it says "This figure comes as pictured, without the head armor for the horse." I had to pay 4.70 shipping. =(. I would have ordered more but low on money have to wait a week or two before ordering again. At least its not as high as the estimated shipping. In the promise to purchase screen the shipping was like 4 something for the mounted knights alone. Some people sell lots of 10 or so minifigures of various factions, not always with original pieces unfortunately. But here is a example. It's not as cheap as the seller you posted per minifigure. But it does come with a horse and saddle. And 8 Visor helmets I only have 1 of those in silver, so it looks tempting. The swords are Knights Kingdom's instead of Fantasy Era, And they ahve dwarf shields instead of crown knight shields. And the king has a dwarf helmet. And he turned a soldier into a pseudo queen or female warrior. Not so cool. 10 warriors would have been a better value. Some are buy it now, some are bid. Just search 10 castle minifigs and quite a few should show up. I guess some are good prices, and some are bad. Hm, ebay bucks. Well if I order a lot like tons of those the knights from that seller and some of the 10 minfiig lots I should make a nice amount of ebaybucks. But I think he is the only seller that has cheap minifigures on ebay. The rest are double to triple bricklink prices.

I don't want to use stickers. But I think I see some Prince of Persia torsos if I am not mistaken. I previously thought they could make good Japanese soldiers. Haven't tried it yet though.

Well I ordered 6 of the Mounted Crown Knights (wish it came with horse helmet) and that 1 axeman crown knight since it comes with shield and axe what a bargain!, shield is worth 30-50 cents I think. Too bad he only had 1 left for the sale price. and 8 troll warriors with the copper sword. How much did you pay in shipping if you don't mind me asking? I was thinking of getting some of the good knight but I was afraid the shipping would be significantly higher since those are in boxes. Ugh. I think I messed up. I signed up for ebay bucks but that was after I confirmed to purchase them. So I think its not qualifying. =(. Well it says I have earned zero ebaybucks. Could have earned 1.31 ebay bucks! Half a minifigure right there! Hopefully he has like hundreds of these minifigures. And I will buy some more from him later and maybe pick up some of those 10 minifig lots. I notice those are popular on ebay.

I use them as army builders. I did make a moc as did some other people in this thread. I have a decent amount of black pieces from my escape from dragon's prisons, single prison tower rescue and garmadon's fortress. So I hope to make a large black fortress in the future. I definitely have the pieces (at the very least lots of those huge panel pieces should make up for lack of regular bricks) I just need the imagination and motivation.

How come Lego never gives me free stuff when I send them emails? Well as long as they keep on making cheap army builder sets for castle I will be happy.

thanks a lot man. If anything, I will just get hundreds of kingdoms and future knight factions. And my crown knights, trolls, dwarves will be mercenaries or even elite soldiers. Since Crown Knights use same colored helmets as Lion Knights maybe they can be a subgroup within the Lion Kingdom. I mean man, what kind of kingdom has 20 soldiers when rival kingdoms have hundreds lol. I doubt they could defend themselves.

take out the crossbow and axe. Switch visor helmet with regular helmet and you got the Good Knight Impulse they made a while back. So maybe just switch one of the knight helmets for regular helmet and have shield/sword/spear and its golden!

That feels like cheating. My original intention was to make something similar to Warcraft/Warhammer where humans have multiple factions coexisting in the same lands. I can even do it with skeletons. Fantasy/NinjaGo skeletons = Sentient undead. And the classic skeletons with eyeless faces = slave undead of necromancer or demons/monsters. I was going to buy some more Atlantis sets for Atlanteans, or Power Miners for Golems, or SpacePoliceIII/Alien Conquest for demons. But nah, way too expensive compared to castle minifigures. Well Alien Conquest aliens should be similar price, but their printing wouldn't fit in with castle theme. I am going to keep Crown Knights a vassal kingdom for now unless I decide to get more via bricklink. For now, I am massing Lion knights and dragon knights while they are still cheap. And the occasional skeletons and generic humans from pick a brick.

I live in the US and I don't even buy locally. Maybe just my local stores have low business, but all toys not just lego have a price markup of around 15-30%. It's quite appalling. But I imagine probably amazon and oher online stores are killing local stores. Even online TRU has much better prices than my local TRU. Same with online Target vs local Target.

Turns out I don't like them. They are made out of rubber instead of abs plastic. And I find them to be incredibly difficult to get into minifgures hands. Even skeleton hands which are normally looser than human minfiigure hands (in my experience at least) resist the blue spears being clipped in. And its Mastercard Monday at TRU, so I ordered 7 more Escapes from Dragon's Prsions. Expect that package soon.

I mean ridiculous amounts of lego. I have a few hundred minifigures. Around 65 and soon to be 80 of lion knights and dragon knights. But it would be nice if I could have tens or hundreds of thousands of each lego faction! Probably impossible though except maybe for recent castle themes.

I was going to have my Crown Knights to be the defacto ruler of my lego land. But I only have like 20 crown knights and now have like 80 dragon knights and 80 lion knights. Guess they will have to be the main kingdoms. With Crown Knights as a lowly vassal kingdom. I have lots of Persians though probably around 50. And a large amount of skeletons. Guess they are the bad guys. And working on a generic army. Perhaps militia forces or mercenaries.

thanks. I pretty much only bought the sets for the peasants and armor pieces. Wish they had an extra dragon soldier though to make it around 3 dollars per minifgure. Then I would have bought like a dozen of them like I did for Prison Carriage Rescue and Escape from Dragon's Prison.

Took my four copies of the Blacksmith attack to make a building for the dragon knights. Not much of a military outpost but more of a supply outpost. Since it has a well for water, chicken coop for meat, and a dangerously close smelting pit for making metals.

Here is my castle army before haitus. 1 crusader missing weapon, 2 blackfalcons, missing one helmet and shield and sword. 2 forestmen, missing sword and plumes, and 1 peasant. I would love to collect thus in bulk, but I fear that Madoka has already bought most of them, and in bricklink most sellers have like 2 of them. I don't feel like buying from 50 sellers just to get a small army. Most of my knights are lion and dragon. I got into castle late 2009 so most of the crown knights/skeletons/trolls/dwarves I was unable to get. =(. If I do buy some at bricklink I might get some more crown knights and trolls. Skeletons I got plenty from NinjaGo. And dwarves are too expensive considering their legs don't move and beard covers most of printing.

I don't have the ambition or motivation to become rich. But if I was, I would buy up every minfiigure I could get my hand on. Hire people to buy me lego and set up my armies. Build lego museums out of the minifigures recreating historical battles and scenes. The only problem would be how to prevent theft and tampering? How come there are no rich people who buy hordes of collectibles/toys? Seems like all rich people just collect art and houses. It would be cool to see some rich guy who has a mansion filled with toys.
