Has anyone here tried making a custom Lego motorcycle? I am interested in learning how. The motorcycle doesn't have to be rideable for the minifigures. It just has to look cool and realistic. -

I just ordered 7965 new. Great review. One question, once completed, can the MF be stored in its original box? I have limited space and am unable to display every Lego set at once so some have to go on a "rotation". I am always looking for good ways to store sets when not in use.

Hello. This is my first post here. I LOVE Star Wars (all movies including Clone Wars) and I love Lego. I enjoy taking photographs of my various minifigures. I don't have a lot yet, probably around 20 minifigures or so, but I am having a lot of fun. Does anyone here have a 500px.com account for Lego photography? Thanks

Thanks for the warm welcome. I am attempting to get more publicity for my Lego photos (it is a long story). They are hosted at 500px.com (similar to Flicker). Is anyone here a member of 500px.com, and able to vote on them? And yes, that set #10030 is about halfway finished. Still need to complete the superstructure portion of the ISD

I've been doing macro photography with my minifigs. One thing I have a problem with is dust. It seems it is very difficult to keep my minifigs dust free in the photos. What is the best way to clean them before a photoshoot? Is rinsing them in a sink ok? I don't want the water to remove the printing on their torsos.

If you look at ebay you will find numerous sellers selling minifigs. Most, if not all, of these minifigs come from sets right? Two questions: Where are all of these sets that the seller simply takes the minifigs out of to sell online? How do these sellers sell the minifigs as "new" when they have been removed from the sets.... Or am I missing something? Is there a way to buy minifigs (new) without buying the sets??

Anyone here have any Battle Droids that are loose where the torso connects and legs connect? The result is a Battle Droid that will not stand up properly. Is there a fix to this? I don't want to glue the torso/leg joint.

I was mainly curious about the Ebay store owners who specialize in Lego. They always have a nearly endless amount of Stormtroopers (as new) and Battledroids (as new) for sale. Where do they get all of these?? They must have tons and tons of opened kits without Troopers or Droids.....

Thanks. The ISD has never been built. It was given to me by a friend who got about two or three pages into the manual and decided it was too much for him to mess with. He also didn't have the room for it. As of now, I have completed about half of it.

I bought #9509 for some of the figures. I noticed that it includes a all white R2D2. What is the deal with that? Is it like a joke or special edition or something?

Thanks so far, my main work in progress is set 10030 that I picked up for free. 100% complete with manual, but box was damaged. Besides that, I mostly just play around with the minifigs....
