When I buy a couple of those army men then all I have t do is get tan decals and a tan brickforge helmet and I can finally have the ultimate lego/plastic army men war i've always would've enjoyed as a kid

Well if they just started putting plans down for sets it will take about a year for them to go through the process of planning, sketching, prototypes, revisions, tests, marketability and so on. It might even take longer, so I think the best we can hope for is maybe a late summer or janurary 2011 release.

Star Wars The Clone Wars Season 2 Discussion
Forresto replied to DarthSion's topic in Culture & Multimedia
Spy in the Senate felt very strange to me. No action was kind've odd and not expected but in a way kind've nice because it got more into the polotics of the major corporations. As it turns out the Trade Federation and Banking clan Corporations are both still "neutral" for the timebeing. I liked how they also went to Cato Nemodia and I kept thinking "poor master Plo". It's rdiculous that we have to wait until the 6th for Geonosis, ah well. -
Play it again Figr'in Dan As the empire hunts down the plans for it's secret battle station on the desert planet of Tantooine, It's inhabitants go on with there everyday lives. A meager moisture farmer jumps in his landspeeder and takes his precious water to sell in the city. A gentle ithorian listens onto a bith street musician while a bounty hunter looks for his next target who could be . Unleash the excitment mos Eisley urban life in this excitng 67pc set. Put the water box in the speeder and launch the flick-fire missles, while hunting down a bounty hunter's prey. Contains Ithorian, Bith musician, bounty hunter, and Moisture farmer minifigures. Set goes with 7068 mos eisley cantina Theme: Star Wars Set: 7067 Mos Eisley city life Pieces: 67 Price: $10.99 (from left to right:Ithorian, Bounty Hunter, Bith Musician, Moisture farmer The reason I built this was beacause once a long time ago my dad said after seeing a space set he bought me, that Lego should make sets that were small and came with a bunch of crazy alien heads. When thinking of ideas for battlepacks I realized that his idea from a long time ago was impractical at the time where cost was involved but could be possible today with our better molds. I always loved Mos Eisley and all the wierd aliens so this was an easy idea to come up with. Originally this was goning to be a cantina battle pack but I was afraid of it turning out like this set 4501 so I went with this. The pictures don't give it justice but I could'nt upload my other photos because i went right to my photo limit. Thank you and happy voting.

Stargate: All hail the Ori! Presenting the Ori mothership
Forresto replied to Legostein's topic in LEGO Sci-Fi
Beautiful ship! just........just... so beautifully done in lego. I'm not a big Star Gate fan so I don't know who the Ori are, although I do like the original film and SG: universe. -
What do you mean, I mean have you seen the last Star Trek Movie? LOL!
-
This is pretty sweet . The minifigs are great but the wall of (is it the Purge orthe Star Destroyer?) need a little more detail. It's very good though. I've been planning on doing somthing similar so how did you chisle part of the stormtrooper helmet off?

These are great good job. Princess leia in a bikini still looks hot even in cubedude form . Hah! but both are extremelywell done.

I........Hate.........WALMARTS. They are evil . Sorry but I hate it when us americans are stereyotyped like that, especially since are nation's image has been pretty harmed with the bush regime. It's fine though. Let's get back on topic. One thing I don't get is we don't even know what this brickmaster looks like, so is it worth it? I'm just wondering because it might just have like a clone and a battle droid, you never know.

Thank you very much for the info. This Movie looks awesome ! I had my doubts and I still have some but this looks incredible.

Brings a new definition to "Crystal Meth"

Nice, in fact brilliant. You should try making a zombie to go with him, maybe? I would love itif lego made his hair.

This actually makes me think that if there is an AT-AT, it would be an exclusive to some store.
-
This is . . . . extremely nice. I would buy this definantly if it was an official set , and it could be. Really good job and best o' luck to ya.

Hello and welcome to Eurobricks. It's a real pleasure to meet you and really good Minas Tirith . I'm also a big LOTR fan so it's nice to meet another fan. However this should probably be in this topic , so a moderator should move this. Don't worry you'll get used to it .

Howitzer Cannons, Combat Drones and UAVs plus a Republic 'Tiger
Forresto replied to CloneCommanderDelta7's topic in LEGO Star Wars
Very very nice. I especially love your modifications to the gunship, although the inner et of guns on the wing seem a little too much. Good job though. -
Out of randomness there's a pic for a late 2009 "set" I found on flik-r (and on FBTB) of a Nintendo DS case with a mosaic Printed on lots of 2x2 tiles. link . It comes out in november and is $14.99. It's very. . . . interesting, My DS broke though so i'm probably not buying it.

This is pure excellence, I can't even begin to describe how cool this moc is. I wonder if you could post pics of your AT-RT?
-
Yes thanks . I have looked at the EBCCB and I have some ideas and might try orginizing it later on. Sorry if I came out kind've pushy about it. As with theTags I should have reprased that, all I wanted to know was how you got one not that I was asking for one .

Star Wars The Clone Wars Season 2 Discussion
Forresto replied to DarthSion's topic in Culture & Multimedia
Season 1:Comics There you go! just click menu and you can switch between season 1 and 2. Anyways I really enjoyed this last episode. It was intense and felt a lot longer then a normal episode. I just loved the cute little rodian baby, and all the small refrences more to Anikan's turn to the darkside. His meetings with palpatine, his wanting to confer with palpatine about what the jedi were doing, Mustafar, and he angrily strides away from ashoka (when he hears that Cad Bane escaped again) just like Darth Vader in empire strikes back. Has anyone realized that the jedi shuttle looks a lot like Pedro's entry to the battlepack contest. The only thing I would've liked out of the episode is to have seen Kit Fisto's world since the other baby that Cad Bane took was of the same species. I think if every episode this season is as great as the last three, then the Clone Wars will have just moved in front as one of the best Animated television series of the year. Has anyone noticed that this has been a really great year for Sci-Fi? First we get Star Trek, and Torchwood:Children of earth (i'm a Who fan). Then District 9, Mutant Chronicles, 9, and finally The Clone Wars season two. link On Wookiepedia it actually says that Geonosis is a part of it (it could be there speculation, but it would make the most sense.) so there's a reasonable answer to a long on debate. -
I said this a couple pages ago but I don't think anyone read it (besides you Fox) so here you go. If you did sorry. I had an idea that I might not have time to orginize, but what if we did a community build like in the castle forum. We could do a city like coruscant or Mos Eisley or some other famous Star Wars city/planet. If it was coruscant it would only be a small portion but could be several levels of buildings and landing platforms, and it could go well with the Clone Wars or upcoming ROTS sets. If we wanted to make it even more interesting we could also do the interior of a ship like a minifigure sized Star Destroyer. I personally think it's a cool idea and it does'nt have to be huge or big. By the way how do you get tags?

Licensed Battle Packs VS. Castle & Pirates ones
Forresto replied to Oky's topic in General LEGO Discussion
It is pretty unsettling to me that they are trying to pass up these castle/pirate battle packs as good deals. I mean the big leg up lego has always had over * is that Lego is a better quality. *I dare not speak it's name -
They would sell! DOMO has kind've taken over the planet. I always said that it was an alien that looked a lot like a DOMO created the company and is taking over the world through our hearts .
