World Racers Summer 2010
sok117 replied to The Green Brick Giant's topic in LEGO Action and Adventure Themes
I can't wait for the toyfair to see better pictures of these, I think the head gear on one of the figs in the blizzard one uses a space police helmet. I also think that the guys on yellow vehicles are like referees. -
World Racers Summer 2010
sok117 replied to The Green Brick Giant's topic in LEGO Action and Adventure Themes
OHhhh, Mesa like, this theme just keeps getting better and better though I wish there were more cars instead of different vehicles in each set. -
It's as though thousands of agents screamed out across the galaxy, then suddenly they were silenced. A great disturbance in the force, there is. Oh well, I think World Racers looks promising.

Well I had some free time today so I decided to watch Star Wars Episode III, while watching I got into my lego and decided to make A quick Mustafar Duel vignette, And so here it is. (sorry for the blurriness, my camera couldn't focus) some simple snot techniques that have been floating around the internet I cheated a bit on the bottom, but my dark bley pieces are really scarce. anyway comments and criticisms are greatly appreciated.

Thanks for the comments, I guess It is more of a slope in the movie but I just didn't have the pieces. I'll get to work on improving it.
-
I like how you made the goat, as well as the car, overall a very good scene that you have set up.
-
I guess the new luke doesn't look too bad. Gonna consider picking this one up. Thanks for the review.

I think meltdown is the only set I would even begin to consider buying from this line, he just looks cool with his face/mask/head and the tentacles. not so much the toxic canisters on his back. Can't wait for better pictures.

I rather love the simple plainness of this, These clones know how to get the job done, very sleek and very cool.
-
Thats exactly what I said, way to be original.. I guess great minds think alike
-
The big Atlantis set this summer has this giant shark head in the center that opens up as the "portal" and spanning in either direction are walls, Its pretty neat and uses some good mechanics to open the sharks head. Note: I saw this back in November, on a trip to lego canada.
-
That looks pretty good, It would have been nicer if you used clones instead of whoever those guys are, more of a sci-fi thing rather then Star Wars, oh well, nice greeble effects too.
-
very nice intresting and informative review. I always love bonus pics, they can be quite hilarious
-
that's hilarious, my name is stefan too, and Star Wars lego is my favorite, but I have been collecting it for much longer then you. Anyway, hope to see you on the forums. May the force be with you.

-

-
clone killer, I think never mind he has gone offline
-
wow, that's really good, I guess the challenge now is "what mini can you make from a battle pack?"
-
I look forward to seeing these in the future, I voted for a Zurg Mech, not only because I think it would be really cool, but because It might be hard to get all that purple. Anyway nice job on the buggy and keep up the good work. P.S. is Okymobile a puul back vehicle?
