Oh man, I first saw this back when you uploaded the idea on cussoo and I was so amazed. I really hope this gets through with lego making no changes because they would probably be negative ones, good luck on getting 10,000 supporters soon.

I would imagine lego would make a couple original and prequel trilogy sets throughout the next few years but also make a lot of the new trilogy. This wouldn't be too bad though considering we have been getting a lot of unnecessary redesigns over the years. So basically my prediction is about 80% new trilogy and 20% from previous trilogies. -
Agreed, I just love the ones that give us lots of the generic ones because those are the ones we would want armies of. Not really a big fan of the 2011 battle packs, the mandos never even fought the clones and the bomb squad troops only appeared in one episode. I too am looking forward to the kashyyyk one, even if there not generic they look so cool.

The Old Republic (SWTOR): Views on current and future sets
Darth Nader replied to Something_Awesome's topic in LEGO Star Wars
I do find the old republic interesting, but the sets, not so much. I have 9497 and while it's ok, I think they could have done a better job with it. The sets look amazing, but they really lack interior and playability compared to the other sets. -
Aw man you had my hopes up, but it's ok. I've had my fair share of foolishness on this site.
-
Damn I was really hoping for pics of the sets we haven't received so far, what site confirmed this?

Lol dude no need to be so harsh, most muslims don't even give a crap about the whole Jabba's Palace thing. When I told my Dad this, who's a muslim, found the complaint to be really stupid and that they most likely just want attention. He basically reacted like most muslims and non-muslims would. -
If lego were to include a boga, they would most likely put the older one there to show that they would be including one. But I agree with you, I was really hoping for a boga and a commander cody.
-
Agreed, but lego probably made it wider so it appears to be better value for $20, which is probably going to be the price point of the set. It's definitely not the first time lego has done this.

I agree, most video reviews are just full of "Um" and "Uh" and up being 20 minutes long, only giving about one minute of opinion while the rest being basic things you can read on lego.com. While I do prefer text reviews, I don't think this one went very deep in some of the features. The photography is good, but I would have preferred a bit more.
-
If you think that's bad, you should check out Michaelmgf's review of the new gunship, it's 43 minutes long! Anyways the review isn't that bad, but JANGBRICKS in my opinion has a better review, but it's still the same length, just in two parts, the first goes over the minifigures and speeder bike if you care about those, part 2 has the actual village. part 1 part 2 Anyways this review is really good and allowed me to see features on the ewok village that I didn't even know existed. It's truely an amazing set.

I'm pretty sure the 'Hair Dryer' look is just a fill-in until they make the official thing. But if they do look like that officially, then I'm with you about buying customs.

What really makes me disappointed about this wave is that they didn't include any sets that will look good on display. In fact the only one that has reached my expectations is the Kashyyyk battle pack simply because lego gave us what we wanted. I think the Battle of Saleucami would have been great too if lego gave us more than one clone.
-
If you look closely at the box of the vulture droid set it says it has 222 pieces, the rest of them don't have the piece count on the box, does anyone know how many pieces the other sets will have, or have they not been confirmed yet?
-
Thanks for the link, most of the sets to me were just like the way I thought they would turn out, except for the one I was excited for the most: General Grievous's wheel bike. It's sad to see no boga and only two minifigures, I was hoping we would've received a phase 2 commander cody. Honestly I'm disappointed with the battle of Saleucami set, it's just a bunch of little things from previous sets put together in one, and isn't this the fourth set with a BARC speeder, UGH! The imperial battle pack is alright, I was just hoping for stormies instead of royal guards. The micro fighters look great for kids, so I guess they will be selling decently. But what did fit my expectations was the Kashyyyk battle pack, the clones and the new weapons look so cool! One last thing: Does anyone else notice how almost all these sets are one sided? I mean I know we get a couple clones in a droid set and vice-versa but no vehicles of different sides in one set. And notice how in some of these sets we only get two minifigures each. Lego really is going backwards imo, Idk maybe I'm the only one who thinks like this.

Well indeed they do look similar, that really is all that can be said about it. I was hoping they would do the boxart like they did from 1999--2001 where it had multiple characters from the movie it was based off of. http://www.brickset.com/detail/?Set=7131-1 here's a link to one of those sets incase you don't know what I'm talking about.

Very nice review of the set, great job . I was only interested in the Stass Allie minifigure but now you make me want to get the set. Are you going to review any other sets from the new SW wave?

Well to me it's no surprise that they didn't make any droid battle packs, because people already have enough droids and don't want to get them. I always thought they were made just so the clones could fight something, other than that they were really boring on their own, unlike the republic ones. But I too am very excited for the clone and imperial ones and am definitely looking forward to the Grievous bike set. Hopefully that one will include a phase 2 commander cody.

Although I too am disappointed with the lack of OT sets I am excited for the General Grievous bike set. I highly doubt it, but I'm hoping lego will make it motorized, that would give it such a cool feeling and would make it definitely worth it. Well that won't be surprising, it seems like lego has and will be doing that with the majority of the next few waves. I just wish they would give the sets the cool functions like they used to have up until now. It seems like very few of them are worth getting for more than just the figs
-
Well it's been discontinued for a while now, but you can get it for about $400 brand new if you live in the U.S, and I thought it was expensive at $250!
-
When are the reviews on eurobricks for the new sets coming out? I knew a few have been made, but ones on the rest of them are long overdue.
-
Aw yes, that makes even more sense considering TRU raised the price of the set making it even more expensive, thanks for the answer.
-
That sounds great, minus the hoth part, Lego has made a ton of those over the past few years. But what I am really hoping for is a sandcrawler set, we haven't seen one of those in a while. Anyways are you sure pictures should be coming in two weeks? Did someone tell you this or are you just assuming from previous years? But either way I hope you're right because I'm excited to see those pics coming up
-
Wow, I thought they were going to cancel the release of series 4 because of how horrible the other ones were selling, but selling them as much as a battle pack!? The only good thing that will happen is that people will begin to appreciate the battle packs more.

I believe they represent the number of battles he was in
