About Me
Born and raised on the Eastern side of the "Iron Curtain" LEGO remained something totally out of reach for me during my childhood. But friends would let me play with their stuff every now and then, and of course there was BePe, an East German clone brand, that kept me building for hours, if not days.
After the "Fall of the Wall" I was finally able to buy LEGO myself, but never really enough dough to buy the big pirate and castle sets that I really wanted.
Having two little kids myself now brought me back out of my dark ages, and my wife has finally found out, that the bricks piling up on my desk are not only for the boys ...
In my real life I work as a High School teacher for English and Geography, I enjoy the outdoors quite a bit, I go bouldering twice a week and I play guitar as well as drums in a rock band.
My LEGO interests are Pirates, Castle and Town.
