tnx. still long way to go....this isn`t a half of diorama yet....... domes are cool...but still need to to fill the holes where hinges go on the back of the domes, will use tan panel bricks 1x2.

Update...2 new baseplates....new building & small junkyard (not yet finished, waiting for tiles to arrive)...gray building with circules raised 4 bricks...

there will be some white color aswell. but lot of building on tatooine are acctualy gray.

we were studing lot of pictures, OT and PT movies, cw series episodes with tatooine and official visual guides books to get a general idea and feeling. Althou buildings are from our heads, we still try to do something that could be seen on tatooine and trying to do design similar to reference we use. for eg. this gray building with circular openings on roof is shaped like some hangars on tatooine althou it isn`t hangar, on the other hand design of elevated entrance to this one is taken from another house seen in the movie, and roof openings are taken from design of industrial houses on tatooine. Fusion.

tnx guys. reg. dome strucutures....well to be honest I would love if lego had cool half-spheres that i could use for big and small domes in tan color. I was never big fan of brickbuild ones. Maybe I will improve domes...maybe not...will see...its LOT of work still to do and september is long way.

NEXT SEGMENTS : hey man, you must understand this is just a small secondary street. There will be planty space to build more landspeeders,ridings animals and everythign else since this gonna be really huge diorama with bunch of streets, building, minifigs and everything in it and there will be time and place for landspeeders, specialy in the main street. Also we will fill the sky aswell (couple of models "flying" above diorama on transparent strings).

hey! there will be more photos, there will be expansion(in the future), but it will take some time. Small imperfections are the result of transportation and me not been there to fix it duo to a business trip I had the same date. Thats also why I don`t have more photos from different angle.

tnxxxx Story behind: Diorama was supposed to be a bit different - I was planing to put Moc in a small sandbox - well actually I made small 50x50x1cm sandbox from wood, both fine desert sand, spent bunch of money - and it looked awesome.....BUT........ ....BUT than realised that : a) It won`t survive tranport and manipulation b) can`t display it without sealed glass casing because fine sand is blown away even whan I was walking around my table in a room - and hundreds of ppl walking around on exhibtion would destroy it in I guess 30 min...

well it was acctualy done today after lunch....took me little bit more than 5 hours to built. that custom figter look .....WAU.... I might make slight changes before exhibition....who knows :) But for now I`m gonna concentrate on make 2nd diorama from EP II Attack of the clones...still needs to decide what...

reg. old lego naboo fighter. well I was thinking of building my own studless version of the craft but decided I wanna give it a bit of a retro look to the hole thing - so decided to use old lego fighter to do so.

I was thinking of doing it 4-5 times bigger, wider,higher with full flight deck, roof ..welll everything....but decided that its better to do 10 smaller 48x48 dioramas from different movies and series than to be stucked again in one big diorama for half a year and to loose again my inspiration for building.
