2015 sets have disney logo already. Only ucs slave I and 4 early microfighter sets are without it - all other sets/polibags have disney logo on the front of the box. Back on topic. Well ILC is getting quiet a nice screen time in season 2, almost every episode has it, and in some playes key role. So we might see it in the future as lego model.

Picked up 95101 FO Tie fighter on 40% discount. Great set. Love it. but without discount I would never buy it since its not worth 80€.

Clone wars "crisis on naboo" episode has flash speeder, and it looks that lego designed this version on cw material rather than ep1 material.

This polybag is great in every way.got it 2 weeks ago, and still I can't get myself to open it since it looks so cool. Prints on legs/torso/arms/head are perfect, and lego really did a great job. Unique figure in every way.

Problem is that its is impossible to know how much demand will you get for a new product, and this is not just for Lego, it is a general rule - you can expect something on past expiriance, but you can never be sure - if you don't produce enought - you will loose money, since not everyone will wait. On the other hand if you produce too much product and it doesn't sell - you will loose lot more money. So going with less is always way better than going with more than needed. In this case lego is playing safe - they probably increased production for some % , but not so much that they loose money on overproduction. Now they are pushing production process to the limits to fill the gap in demand and all the issues with product( bad bricks) are result of that.

Come on ppl - lego and hasbro are 2 biggest star wars toys profit makers for disney - we are talking here about hundreds of milions €$£¥ that these 2 toymaker bring to disney and as long as they bring all that milions to disney licence is 10000% safe despite this "oh nooo we will have problem with disney licence plz don't share pictures megablocks".... This is example of good marketing and business strategy: - they give "leaks" to bring on the hype by 1000% - and whan products hit the streets on force friday duo to hype they will sell like crazy - tracking the amount of early chat about the products they can test if the product is going to be sucessfull and how much product they need to produce to feed the demand This is tekstbook marketing...don't be fooled - they know what are they doing. All this leaks are carefully planed, all this censorship to "stop leaks" is planed - everybody is now pumped on this sets... I can just say good job lego and hasbro!

I would change all this new FA sets for 2 decent clone wars/rebel/PT/OT sets anytime...just not impressed at all. My opinion... millenium falcon that looks the same as OT one, they didn't improved it at all... snowspeeder that looks ugly as hell troop transport looks like amfibia-tank-marvel-DC-super hreos stuff and it doesn't have star wars feel at all red tie that is bearly changed from last OT one... X-wing is ok, but look at the price Command shuttle looks quiet kennerish, and it does look like star wars , but come on using 1000 bricks for a box like cabine with 2 vertical plane wings...stupid...this could be done with 300-400 bricksand nobody would noticethe difference... Rey speeder is the only really ok set, but again OVERPRiCED ...couple of bricks and 2 figures... Prices are horrrriiiibllleeeeee. They will milk lot of extra €£$¥ from ppl just because it is from newwwww movie...and we don't even know if the movie will be good since J.J.Abrams already killed Star trek and the same could happen to Starwars as well... I'll pass this wave for shure...

Hey there, so I wanted to build a small display/mini diorama for OG-9 homing spider droid and some battle droids, to be able to display model so that it looks nice and not just plain model sitting on the table, you know little bit of terrain a bit of backdrop...small scene....and I think I went a littile bit overboard :) For now its 75cm high cliff/mountain and since its a bit tall I will need to add couple of more baseplates in front so that it doesn`t look strange and than I will need to make it even taller I guess 1m high or something :) so here are wip pictures, will update regulary with new progress.... here is the link for more pics.... http://www.mocpages.com/moc.php/410413 OH ...YES....sorry for bad pics, they were taken with Ipad in bad light and they look really bad...but you can get general idea..

90% of sets are not in scale with minifigs - they are oversized or undersized. Unfortunately it is hard to menage proper sized vehicles in lego duo to lot of factors and limitations. Here are some that are in good scale to minifigs Ucs millenim f. Ucs slave 1 8088. arc 170 & older arc-170 since there is a small size difference, but well in tolerance 8016 hyena droid bomber 75004 z-95 headhunter Ucs imperial shuttle Republic gunships 75201 & 7676 Droid gunships 7678 & 75042 At-te 75019 Og9 homing sp.droid 75016 At-ap 75043 At-dp 75083 8091 swamp speeder Actually no they are all to big unfortunately. Unfortunately it should be much bigger and taller to be minifig scale, and lego doesn't have elements to build something like it. Present biggest dish pieces are just too small.

In 99% imagination build sw ship models don't have feeling of star wars univers ships, but this one looks like it came straight from george lucas workshop! awesome work! Respect! Shape is perfect - looks a bit like great fusion of couple of less known corellian freighters from the novels. Interior is brutal, color is brutal, built and use if bricks to get a shape is brutal. Top work!

Like it. This unusual design of cockpit ball in my opinion gives model more "mehanical-technic-more serious" look. Will probably get it.

You build it wrong. Top and side panels don't have gap like on you pcs whan model is built correctly. Other than that nice review ...

Wings should be folded in landing mode so this isn't really a flow in lego design it is actualy how it supposed to be. Tie adv. prototype isn't supposed to be landed as seen on this picture - this tie with unfolded wings was fighter on display stand during the parade and if you look at the show later in the same episode (ep7 empire day) you can see 2 tie pilots and Inquistor going to landing pad in imperial base and there is tie advanced in landing mode like it supposed to be. Regular Tie fighters in rebels series are made smaller than ones in the original movies/other references. So comparing wing size of tie prototype and tie fighter from rebels is pointless. Only flaw in design of this set is that wing are 2-3 maybe 4 studs too short, they should almost touch in landing mode.

I was trying it with/without tiles but end result looks far better with tiles since its more smooth and compact, also it gave me much more freedome to put small detailes and color this way on the hull. Ship is 71cm x 50cm x 17 cm There is no interior.To be honest inside is such a mess, frame of the ship is soooooo badly done that it is imposible to do any interior,it is a miracle that inside frame is able to holding ship togather at all.

hey! tnx for comments. Yes its less know (unknown) freighter from CEC. There is bunch of nice looking freighters from YT and YV series not only millenium falcon and outrider, and I really like to build more unique and less known ships.

Set: 75043 Year:2014 Minifigs: 5 Pieces: 717 Price: payed it cca. 73 Euro So here is it. Box art - I really like new boxes, they have kind of "old" 1999-2000 feeling to it... Instructions - there are 2 books for 5 bags, bags are numbered. Minifigs: Tarfful - perfect minifig - soo many details, perfect printing, printed legs - insane!! Commander Gree - again perfect minifig, prints are awesome, specialy like printed scratches on helmet, printed legs, printed back - crazy!! B1 battle droid commander - nice to get somewhat rare minifig, since there wasn`t that many sets with B1 commander with printed head. B1 battle droid - standard B2 SBD - standard Tarfful and Gree are stars of the set, B1 commander is a sweet extra. AT-AP model 2014 model is much improved version compared to 2008 version. Model is stable even with 2 legs, and with 3th one extended you can`t flip it over. Front leg has nice sistem for retraction, and can`t fall off whan locked in non-extended mode. Cockpit has room for 2 minifigs, lot of space, nice computer / screen pcs, BUT too bad bricks are no printed pcs - all stickers :( Maybe they should have made small weapons rack, since you don`t have place to put blaster and binoculars from Gree and rifle from Tarfful. Gaps between plates that form outer shell of vechicle are small, so it looks good and compact. Maybe they could do a bit better back of cockpit, since gaps are bigger here and you could see inside. Main gun and blaster cannon on top can be locked in place. Whan locked you can`t move them at all. Blaster cannon can rotate 360, without up or down movement. Main gun can only go down a bit (it can`t go up at all). Midium laser cannon under the cockpit can rotate in all directions. Side hatches are the same like in 2008 version. Don`t see much point in them, since only way to put minifigs inside is by opening top part of AT-AP. Whan I first saw photos of this one , I wasn`t excited and didn`t plan to buy it at all. But I`m so glad I did, since this is IMHO the best set in 2014 winter wave. It has some minor problems (back gaps in plates of the walker, maybe they could put another scout trooper or wookie warrior in this one, stickers and not printed pcs ) but all in all, they got the size, they got the shape, they got stability of model and they gave us perfect out of this world minifigs (Gree and Tarfful) - is it worth 70-80 Euro - sure 100%. Oh yes...the build was quiet fun..and you get some quiet usefull pcs!

And also keep in mind that UV rays are essential for production of hormons/vitamin D in you body, so with UV filters on your windows you will keep you lego nice and new but you will also slowly destroy your body ;)

Yes, top will stay dark green, it looks good with green details on the ship. ( some are not visible on this bad photos).

So...YV-545 is finished...but it would be shame to build such a big UCS ship without some nice background for display...so.......as you can see I started to work on hangar bay....so still work in progress and bad pics :)
