Well done!
Moby Dick is very cool, but I also like all the things that you put in the bottom of the sea.

Thanks!
I'm pleased you enjoy the terrain, as I thought of putting a second color.

Byblios (02) by Luis Baixinho, on Flickr
This is Byblios, the house of knowledge in Ahrídus, Elgarvel.
I made this MOC for Lusitanis, an activity of my LUG (Comunidade 0937) similar to the Guilds of Historica.
Byblios (01) by Luis Baixinho, on Flickr
A google translate of the portuguese description:
In this building works the mythical library with the same name where scholars of all Lusitanis research on various subjects and write books. Because of its functions, Byblios has always been a haven of peace and has never raised a gun within its walls.
Its origins are lost in time, but have performed some research on the appearance of this strange building .. but with little fruit. It is known that the building was built using the stones coming from strange ruins nearby; the first structure was a great tower of square base and later that other structures were added making the building a style amalgam; The choice of this location due to a small supply of water which is at the center of the tower; if it suspects that the construction of the building was already thought to his current role as the desert climate helps in conservation of books and papyri.

I'm also noob in technic sets. I think that is more easy to buy the parts you need from bricklink.

Thanks :)
I hope to see your rover in real life on the Moon. Impressive design.
Humm, and get some royalties? :)
-
I think that is a great theme mainly because of the terrestrial vehicles. I bought some of them but I dismounted them to pieces except one, the excelent 7649: MT-201 Ultra-Drill Walker.

Thanks for the comments.
The MOCs/Pics were made for a contest on my LUG. There are three categories, vignette, small vehicle and "in the real world".
The contest ends next monday, so I don't know if I will make more adventures.

Thanks by the comments!
Meanwhile, Prof. Boom have a new story to tell!

Thank you for the comments.
Very nice! My only (hopefully) constructive criticism is that the awnings on the top level seem to just hang there on the inside- would it be possible to squeeze any other 'supports' in there?
The awnings on the real one are made of stretched canvas or something like this. One more support would be more real, though I'd have to put in front of the stairs to the cabin. So I preferred to omit them.

Thanks for the comments.
Here's a new adventure
The Adventures of Professor Boom (part 2) (01) by Luis Baixinho, on Flickr

This was a small exercise to make a double vignette.

This is a small vignette that I made for a contest at my LUG, Comunidade 0937.
I have plans to use this minifig in other situations.

Ferry (2) by Luis Baixinho, on Flickr
When the first pics of the 60119 Ferry appeard, I was willing to make an improved version. The idea was to use also the ferry of a near town (Caminha, north of Portugal - google pics) as a source of inspiration, mainly in the color scheme and overall shape.
Ferry (3) by Luis Baixinho, on Flickr
The main objective was to give it a toy aspect, with playability possibilities and a good sturdy.
More pics here.
