Three's Company in Cedar Bay.

Thanks for the great comments guys! Just like on other forums, people seem to really like the Tegguttsi's Thanks BlueBard! And i'm sure you're collection is just as great as these guys Hope to see them soon! -
A city. Yep, thats all I would like. A city. I'll go start

Looking around on Brickshelf in late 2005, I saw the very first pics of the Batman license preview. It wasn't a set, just him in Lego version on a rooftop. I then searched the web for 'lego batman' and the EB frontpage came up! I remember printing out the frontpage to show my friends in school. I soon joined to discuss the theme, and other things.

Any room for an abandoned/wrecked building? Perhaps on the edge of town? I always find myself trying harder when i'm making something in a "less than perfect" state
-
I would really like to participate in this, but I would need to see some clearer rules. Right now they're too vague. Is any form of a map being drawn up? Maybe wait until the map is done, and label areas of it with the Zone numbers e.g. Town/City centre featuring a town hall could be Zone 9, or whatever. 5 wide sidewalks? What is that? Whats wrong with 6? A plate size readily available in many sets, which doesn't involve pieces like '1x_' tiles. Like I said in the other topic, the tiles seem too much for me. Not nearly as many will participate when such pieces 'must' be used.
-
Tiles? Really guys? Don't you realise: 1. They're not nearly as much in supply for the average builder 2. Nothing will be able to stand on the sidewalk Yes they may look better, but is that worth everyone participating with a limited supply having to immediately visit BL?

Now how did I miss this fantastic creation?! Superb job BlueBard! Can't wait for your finished diorama
-
Definitely worth having. Its onl a few Dollars/Euros/Pounds isn't it? I don't remember buying mine, can't remember where it came from. But I use it all the time.

I was going to post this in The Trains and Towns forums (to announce my triumphant return to that theme!), but since it involves figs, I thought it better to post here. After picking up 8958 Granite Grinder a few days ago, my plan was to turn it into a forklift. But then I thought I should also make the most of the fig. I actually didn't take a pic of the original miner, so see here. Now then, onto the figs. First up: A Punk (kid?) with a trouser chain: Although i'm not the first to use that idea. Next, a Thug, sporting a mean Belt Buckle: Could be used for thugs, bounty hunters, any mean, lean dudes This one uses the face, and the other leg. A reasoning security guard: The leg, simply a torch. The face, well, though the grey is meant to be dirt, it looks odd on a normal fig, so now its hair. And finally, all three: "Look, fellas... we can work this out. Just take whatever you want... except my torch. I just got it." Thanks for looking!

09 Lego in Ireland, buying options
Skinny Boy replied to brickzone's topic in Buy, Sell, Trade and Finds
Thanks for the update Brickzone! Speed Racer Grand Prix for €30?! Wow. Just thought I'd say, Smyths at Jervis have all the Power Miners, all Pirates (including the shipwreck) and the new City construction sets. Flying wing also quite dear. Toymasters beside Smyths doesn't have much at all. In fact, lots of other products were gone, so hopefully a big closing down sale will come of it! -
You could always have a look around their forums: Brickarms Forums, and see here.

Before you grease palms, you gotta grease ya hair: Finally found that old mirror sticker. Still clean as a whistle, but a little bumpy Thanks for looking!
-
Thanks everyone! The sticker was from 1382 Scary Laboratory, one of the great Studios sets from 2002. Heres the mirror sticker on BL. Only 4 for sale!
-
Oh this gave me a good laugh Thanks for sharing. Glad to know she's ok

These look... sorta... good...? Dissappointed with the bus and camper doors though. Actually 2003. My best year of lego
-
Whoops, seems I missed this. Very good overall, though a bit silly, a perfect example of British humour. Well done Sir ehh Rriggs

Thats it, i'm back into Star Wars!
-
I'm asuming you wanna see a more overall shot? This is the only one I have: Taken before I received my gift, and added the air canister. Alas no, I am stepping away from Post-Apoc, and back to City MOCs. I'll be depending on IA to keep me interested for the time being, so keep 'em coming!

Just thought i'd show my updated missile launcher. Now with ammo from Will Chapman of Brickarms! Here she is: Ammo Rack: Loading: Compressed air Canister, for firing: Thanks for looking!
