Mayve you should have your parents sign on to EB. People might take them a bit more seriously. I would trade one to you if I had two of them, but I don't. :( *Lightbulb flashes!* Someone here mentioned Legoland right? Well Legoland CA's website has a thing where you can get any item that is/or is only currently available at Legoland! There is hope young Brutaka seeker!

I'm familiar with Classic Space from my older cousins (18 and 22 years old) who have huge tubs of classic castle and classic space parts in their house. I think if we mixed the advanced building methods of today, and the good old parts and minifigures from yesterday, we'd have a nice theme. ut has anyone even taken a look at my photo edit and thought of commenting?

Well Lego2000 how do you suppose Keetongu will get an Axonn or Brutaka off of Lego.com if he lives in the US?! Keetongu, people don't take us kids seriously anymore. :( Sad but true!

Well, fans love the SW sets. (I know I do), but they want to see LEGO do some more original work.

Alot can still be achived with the right assortment of curved bricks. SNOT actually makes things harder, plus, you need more specialized parts, but with curved bricks, you can easily get them. Though I do see what you mean lego2000. I mean, what would the UCS ISD be without SNOT? Oh, I also need a list of LEGO fan terms. I know MOC and SNOT, but I need to know others.
-
I like it a lot actually. The only thing it needs is a bit more of a detailed interior. If you don't use SNOT, you could always use curved bricks.

VM to Dillion, Emergancy Code Frequency 9-13 We're encountering Correllian Rebel Corvettes! Sheilds are up and your men are doing the best they can to fend them off! We need a TIE Squad or something that will get these things out of my way! Contact any available help! They're heading for our Yub-Yub surplus compartment! If they hit that... VM out

VM to Dillion, I have succesfully delivered the package, though one of Jabba's goons kicked one of your men in the shin (OUCH!) because the goon felt like it (Luckily Jabba was feeling good and fed the goon to his rancor) and we are back at the ship (sheilds up) and we just succesfully performed putting-a-bandage-on-a-boo-boo-surgery. I await your command. Should we leave this planet or stay here? It seems I'm pretty much finished, but I always will listen for more commands. VM out,

I actually like this show a bit.

THE BOX The the most superficial part of any LEGO product, but the one that often determines whether or not the set is a success or failure. http://www.brickshelf.com/gallery/vahkimet..._review_001.jpg Very nice (As always). There's nothing new here, but there are two nice alternate models. One is a speeder and one a helicoptor. I love those explosion effects on the box too. WHAT'S IN THE BOX? So you've bought it and taken it home (or at least made it to the car), punched the perforated tabs and dump out the contents. What do you get for your money? http://www.brickshelf.com/gallery/vahkimet..._review_003.jpg Just the parts and instructions. What did you expect? A 100 doller bill? THE BRICKS Here's where we start to cut to the heart of the matter. You didn't buy this box for all the glossy booklets & creative artwork. You want to know about the LEGO bricks & bits that are included, and what (if any) new & interesting parts you'll find inside. Here's also where I'll talk about any new and/or interesing pieces that you will encounter. As always very good black parts. The wheele is very nice for pirate builders, but of course, they'd just get one off Bricklink. :-P This is also a good source of flat blue plates. I'm satisfied with what I got. BUILDING EXPERIENCE What can you expect while putting this model together? The same TIE cockpit construction, with some interesting design on the wings. The building of this model is nice and relaxing. Nothing too *I wanted to say that this set contains a lot of big pieces but didn't want to take the time to write it all, so I used the word "*I wanted to say that this set contains a lot of big pieces but didn't want to take the time to write it all, so I used the word "<insert that tiresome argument>" instead*" instead*, nothing too hard. MINIFIGURES THe little guys who run around the scene? Yep, they're included too, and sometimes they make a big difference in the overall rating! http://www.brickshelf.com/gallery/vahkimet..._review_004.jpg You get a TIE Pilot as usual, but instead, with a black head! This is a plus, as the little bit of the "kneck" you see will look movie accurate. I still wish they included a stormtrooper or something extra, after all the other mechanic thingys in the other new sets. PLAYING EXPERIENCE So you've got the model together, but is it more like playing with a block of wood or an interactive toy? Very good play value. It is very swooshable, and the cockpit opens fine. Like I said before, they should have added a "mechanic" as that would add to minifigure value, and play value. Still great. OVERALL Here's where it all boils down to whether the model is worth your money and time or not. http://www.brickshelf.com/gallery/vahkimet..._review_005.jpg Overall, this set is awesome! There are somethings I wish were in this, and others I didn't really want, but it is still a great set. I think for a $19.99 set it really fits a good price/parts ratio! 9 cents (US money) a piece! I suggest you get, one, or too, or three, or... Overall score: 9.5/10 Questions, comments, picture requests?

VM to Dillion, Yes sir. I have safely made it out of hyperspace, and I'm approaching Tattoine. I have encountered no Rebel ships. Where shall i leave the meat? At his doorstep? Or should i confront him personally? VM out

You could put them on a display like gylman did, or on a backpack. ;-)

Review: 7780 Batman - The Batboat: Hunt for Killer Croc
vahkimetru replied to The Middleman's topic in LEGO Licensed
Does the speedboat launch from the back of the larger boat? -
These opinions are most interesting, I now see truley why its doing very well.
-
Bionicle i doing so well because the sets are easy to build, affordable, and kids just don't wan construction sets anymore. It's sad, and I do like large system sets, but most kids would rather spend five minutes building an action figure, than spending hours on a playset that only comes with small figurines. (Minifigures, which I do love, but other kids might not) That's why the Knights did so well too! Kids are just getting so lazy that they don't want to build anything with a real structural stature anymore. Just my opinion.

VM to Sir Dillion Oops, that was the facilty restroom. :-$ Okay I'm at the landing pad, I'm awaiting your orders. VM out

Yeah, it comes in the family. My Dad does reviews for a magazine sometimes. (Can't say which for security reasons) This is my first picture review, I find it much more interesting when a review has pics. I've been inspired by all these reviews on the web, I've done my own, but never in this style. Now to get those resized pictures!

VM to Sir Dillion, I'm waiting for you outside of your cabin. VM out

I'll deeplink them. They're resized on brickshelf. ;-) Sorry.
