Thanks to everyone for the congratulations - I know that all of the new, and returning, Ambassadors appreciate your support! To the Eurobricks Ladies - I'll be asking for your help, insight, and ideas in the near future....

Dave pretty much covered the main points above. He is completely accepting of my LEGO habit and fully supports and encourages me to keep building. I'm just glad that he didn't try to keep this great hobby to himself and let me play along with him!

I realize it has taken way too long to finally join, but after Dave (my hubby) joined, I figured I should probably represent the other half of our LUG. As a kid I would take apart my brother's LEGO castles to create cute suburban houses - not much has changed...though I have learned to share, and to appreciate all that goes into building a great castle. I've made a few contributions to our train/town layout such as a White Castle and Addams Family House, and am responsible for the Harry Potter/Hogwarts portion as well (with the exception of the fabulous Hogwarts Express Dave built for me!). Looking forward to meeting all of you (either online or at Brickworld)!

This is so exciting! I absolutely loved the series and can't wait to see what people build. To answer the question on the level of writing - I'd say they are on the level of Chronicles of Narnia, especially once you get past the first book. They are quick reads, but you cover three generations of one family throughout the series, so there is plenty of "ah ha!" moments. I too have been mixing in some youth novels and this is one of the better series I have found. Enjoy!!
