A Michigan J. Frog reference... Now are they going to sink all their money into a run-down theatre just to have a venue for their (supposedly) singing frog? Because that would be awesome.

And I would help you hide the body for that same fig, sir!

[Comic] Unlikely Society -- Chapter 38
Capt. Redblade replied to Joebot's topic in Brick Flicks & Comics
I'm excited to see the Golden Age heroes. The differing eras of superhero continuity have always fascinated me, so this should be interesting. P.S. Thanks for fixing the A.B. plot hole. I hope my whining wasn't too incessant. -
"Two mouths? Both functional?" That line made my day.

The Penguin's Batman Minifigures. )
Capt. Redblade replied to The Penguin's topic in Minifig Customisation Workshop
Notice the "citation needed" at the end of that section of the wiki. Usually, that means "We just told the biggest damned lie we could think of." This is exciting "news", but don't get your hopes up. -

This Canadian received the "wooden Jack" as a free gift when I preordered the video game, but it's a little late to do that now. -

I say Shadows will get caught in the middle of a horrible accident invloving a gasoline truck, a dynamite truck, and a butane lighter truck. Of course, he will miraculously survive and immediately be hit and killed by a marshmallow truck. -
Have your Space: The Comic Questions Answered by Commander Schwartz hi

Damn! You stole my question! Ah well, I have a backup: How long has Schwartz had his cat, Vanilla Snowball? -
Mafia School: Fabuland Housewives Discussion Thread
Capt. Redblade replied to Hinckley's topic in LEGO Mafia and Role-Play Games
After graduating from Sandy's Isla Paradisa Mafia School, I am glad I can finally look down my nose at the new students. By the way, am I the only one who's ever noticed Hinckley seems to have some bizarre obsession with turning Fabuland into something so demented and twisted? I cite The Forest Mafia, Fabuland Housewives (the webcomic/night-time drama, which ended on a maddening cliffhanger), and this Mafia School as examples. -

Agreed. After rereading the classic comics, I realized I'm starting to miss S.H. and Death Pile PliƩ. -

And yet my obsessive-compulsive nature will not be appeased until the plot hole is fixed. Even something as simple as offhand dialogue that suggests he had a heart attack after the Pharaoh Phil incident would be enough. -

Capt. Redblade replied to Joebot's topic in Brick Flicks & Comics
Wow. And here I thought Apathy Boy was the one behind the scenes. Of course, it did become obvious right around the Benefactor's "Oh, God, no." And yet the A.B. plot hole remains to be fixed. You might want to get on that, joebot. -
I had a feeling that Miss Q's modus operandi was too familiar...

BrickFlick: Nightly News at Nine
Capt. Redblade replied to fallentomato's topic in Brick Flicks & Comics
"Hostage Report with Steve Flatwise." Working as a reporter for NNN seems to be a perilous positon: Flatwise is a hostage of Malifios, Deepsea was eaten by a legshark, Robophelia got in a fight with an alien robot, and Phil and Sherry very narrowly escaped the Falafel Mafia! Good to see your triumphant return, fallentomato! We were getting worried. -
In Panel 17, one can make out some faint background noise. That noise is the sound of the fourth wall crashing down around Mikey's ears.

HO. LY. SH*T. Tell the truth. What kind of Lego sorcerer are you? Make up some instructions for this baby and allow us, your humble servants, to make this on LDD, that we may walk in the footsteps of a god. No, seriously. Right now. -

One thing that bothers me is the fact that the Canadian prices are still higher than the US prices, even though the loonie is now at par with the greenback, so we up here are paying a good deal more in either CAD or USD. Thassa not-a so good... -

There's really no two ways about it. We must see a Davy Jones fig and the Flying Dutchman, or else there will be riots in the streets of Billund, and there will be much wailing and gnashing of teeth. -
Mafia School: Escape From Isla Paradisa
Capt. Redblade replied to Sandy's topic in LEGO Mafia and Role-Play Games
Truly, truly pathetic. It astounds me that someone's self-esteem could be so fractured and insignificant as to warrant the creation of multiple personae simply to defend himself. Not only that, but I do believe the creation of multiple accounts is, um, what's the word, forbidden. I sincerely hope the proverbial book has been thrown at him. -
Mafia School: Escape From Isla Paradisa
Capt. Redblade replied to Sandy's topic in LEGO Mafia and Role-Play Games
Great game, Sandy! I learned a lot, and you are one hell of a teacher! Also, the twist ending was very clever. I'm glad our Doctor and our Cop were able to work so well together. The two of you pretty much carried the rest of the town. The Mafia scum played a good game, but they fell apart when the chips were down. I think we should all give Pandora a round of applause. She had the Mafia working like a well-oiled machine, until we convicted dr jones, that is. -

Mafia School: Escape From Isla Paradisa - Day Six

Honestly, this stuff is about as convincing as Robert Pickton's defence lawyer. First of all, it has been firmly established among the confirmed Townies that there is no logical way for the Mafia to win, thus, Bridget's elaborate fraud would have been for naught since before Day 5, so why would she still be perpetrating this hoax? Second, Bridget has voted for two of the Mafia goons, giving us two convictions, and I believe she expressed an intent to vote for Erin before the latter killed herself. She has organized the Townies so that we are virtually unstoppable. I wonder, Panda, how long have you had these baseless suspicions? If they have been fermenting for an extended period of time, I am given to wonder why you did not voice them sooner. If this were a court of law, we would find you in contempt of court. As I see it, you are just now speaking your mind in a futile attempt to save your megablocks under suspicion. I recall that Danielle attempted the same thing, and we know how that turned out. Cut the crap, Panda. And don't try to suck the rest of us in. Vote: Panda Panjin (Pandora)
