I actually joined the Exo-Force forum before I joined Eurobricks. Its a good idea making an Exo-force forum, theres alot of Lego forums out there, but I only join them with one theme (like castle or mecha) instead of general ones (EB being an exception, of course since its a good non-spam community with fast news).

Welcome Skinny Boy! "You are Skinny Boy, the Thinness Incarnate, You shall not be denied."
-
Agreed. I got it on Dvd (collectors edition) and its a great movie. One may think its a kid's movie, but it is a little deeper (and darker) than just that. As said before, Miyazaki rocks.

Haha, thats great! Reminds me of an old computer animated clip with an alien singing the same song! :-D
-
Agreed. The normal face works as well for battles as the angry one, why didnt they make a happy one instead of the angry?
-
Mine is pretty simple (without the custom face, take a standard smile instead): Dumbledore body both legs and torso (yellow skin) with a purple cape, standard smile and weasley hair.

Of the big mechs, I think Stealth Hunter looks the worst without modification, Fire Vulture is actually pretty cool. The big fan is great for futuristic hover vehicles and helicopters, too. Though I have to admit, Fire Vulture is the only one I didnt keep in its original or nearly original state, needed the parts to my story...

Because he has nothing to do with the newer storylines, he would either be released back then or not at all, and he does not fight in the story either.

Spongebob= Armor when painted and stickered. I will steal his pillow! :ninja:

1. Gul'dan (Warcraft Series): I have no idea why I like him, perhaps its because I know so much about him? He really an underestimating, arrogant, crazy old orc. 2. Serious Sam (Serious Sam series): The all-american hero with the intelligence of a door handle. 3. Sephiroth (Final Fantasy 7): The father to all white to gray haired baddies in anime? 4. Super Mario (Many, many nintendo games) How on Gods green earth did a japanese person invent an italian plumber with superpowers? The funny thing is that I dont like Master Chief from Halo at all, Ive always found him look kinda silly for being the hero in a serious game, a motorcross biker lost in space. It adds to the humour in Red vs Blue though.

Agreed. They seem to be only a front, luckily I got alot of pieces to make them look better. Back to topic: The hair is really great since they are two very common anime styles of hair, but my black hair was much looser than the light blue one for some reason, too bad really.

Very nice story! Its visible that you are better writer than me (hey, I do movie scripts and comic scripts, not books) its kind of a cool start (though Sev isnt a japanese name) and Im interested in reading more... Will you make pics for it later on? Im currently working with one which will have images... And one in form of the RPG here: http://s14.invisionfree.com/Exo_Force/index.php?showtopic=49 I would gladly see you anticipate :) Hmm... Toa Tilius... Vakhimetru and you seems to have struck the same thought.

Is it just me, or do spongebob fit perfectly as an armor if stickered? The avatar sets seems promising in pieces and the red helms cool (since red was one of the few colors used on helmets at all in the medieval times), but shouldnt there be enuits and the likes in those sets? The girl (or whatever) being abducted in the ship set seems to be a peachy, isnt all his friends dark skinned, this Avatar fella?

Sorry for the short pace between posts, but I kind of needed to write this story since its kind of important for the friendliness of this community to see a horrific example of how bad things can go, based on a true story from a forum I was a member on: There was once two forum elders, both very respected members, however, one of them was a modder, and in this game community, he was also the most respected modder around, being the author of a very popular mod, and many looked up to him. The other one was a gamer, but loved and respected for his constant help of the newbies. But one day in forumland, the modder thought he would cause a little heat for some reason, and began spreading political propaganda. It was not allowed to go off-topic which he did in his own mod-progress thread, but since he was so respected noone could do anything. The other member, the gamer, tried to stop him by saying he should go back to topic, but also, unfortunatly, he spouted out a political counter-argument. And so the war raged one pages after pages, politics turning into personal taunts (the modder started it), until the site admin jumped in, trying to stop them, but could do nothing. The war raged on, and it came to that point that someone must be banned. The modder, having a longer background on the site, and practically a fanclub, was spared. The other one was banned. Later on, the "fans" of the modders began using the poor gamer as an example of how one should not act, and sadly, his memory was trampled into the mud. The End. In a situation like this, what should the admins and mods do here? Ban the loved member (think the modder as a great Lego builder) or the one that is not a mod or admin but tries to stop him, but does a mistake on the way which turns into more off-topicness?
-
I believe EB needs to be more strict when it comes to banning and the like- the type of Dark1 I think should have been banned long before the "That will do >-| " race. But since I dont know every mod and admin here I cant be certain if its such a great idea yet, Ive seen forums convert into nazi regims because of corrupt moderators when the admins are gone and pissed admins... Not to critize, but I dont know how you people are yet to see if someone is a potent "forum tyrant". ;) An easy fix is that if a thread does not go back to topic after 4 posts, the unecessary (posts only containing off-topic spam) is deleted by the mods or admins, just an idea. An age restriction may be a good idea too, but it may be a fatal blow aswell. Some members are still only 10. :)

18 Though I build like a child... :/

Liberals? What kind of sick excuse for a leftwing is that? Wheres the proper leftwing? Sorry, its just so fun teasing countries who got two-party systems with that. :P Pretty interesting seeing many canadians here. In times like these, dont care about what you vote for; any change is good! :D

If both are random guys, well, voila! Theres Genki the blackhaired due! ;)

Really nice! I think even though the story behind the robots has been more clarified, Im able to use it in my story for a larger villain... Hehehe. *devil* "Keiken" makes a perfect shogun, too. I think I will use his head for that...
-
Agreed. He could just aswell just say "new sets are coming". :P

What should be made into the next LEGO video game?

Hail Keith! Welcome to EB! Hope this means more cool displays. *satis*

Star trek? As said, it would conflict with SW and there isnt much new about it... And it tries to be "scientific" even though the very basics of the series is fantasy... Yuck. Star Trek is a pretty funny word though, "Stare" is the name of a bird in swedish, and "Treck" is an old word for bird poo. :D

Yet another amazing display! I just love all the small details, and the mecha with half of its legs in the water is a really cool scene, great SNOT water too! Using hinges on the sides of buildings is also a really great idea, too bad all my gray goes to a castle project! Another cool thing is the way you have stayed purist; only using official stickers to "customize", really good use of Exo-force stickers there! Keep up the fantastic stuff! :oD
