Like most people I think Batman, atleast in europe and north america. We must wait some more years before manga and anime takes over europe or atleast becomes the 50% side when it comes to cartoon and comics. KK2:3 has potential, do not underestimate old series... Bionicle sounds like it will fall due to critizism from fans (though, its wierd to see so many castlers happy over how the new baddies look like ogres and trolls and are thinking of buying some).

Iam using the only one decent- Firefox that is. This prob has been appearing alot lately, very annoying. Sometimes, Ive seen two posts "mend" together into one, just that the second one does not show the author, only what is written in a enlarged pause (the white background) field... Its wierd.

Same here, some of the minfigs I have are over 20 years old (inherited ones, Im just 18) and Ive been switching hands like there is no tomorrow... No hands falling out here, seem to fit just as good as the day I got them. The only situation in which the hands has fallen off is when the arm is cracked by being stepped on.

Welcome! Grammatical errors are no prob, just as long you keep yourself to violate grammatical LAW (too many big letters, spam, flaming, trolling etc)! Well, See ye about'!

Cant you get them out? How come?

I dunno, they look wierd with peach hands... Worn gloves too long?

Is it okay to have Pirates intersect with Castle?

As long as you keep the blue & redcoat out of the picture (atleast the high hats, the uniforms are ok), it will work nice together as a reinassance or late medieval theme. For reinassance, The armada figs can just aswell be kept together. I made a Conquistador-like mob called the Morion Brotherhood, all wearing pirate and armada clothes and of course morion helmets. ...Of course, my story is freely moving from the dark age to reinassance and at sometimes its inspired by greek or roman history, etc. Its possible, its fantasy. But watch out for overuse of imperial infantry hats (the high ones), overuse of these makes it looks too much like the industrial era. -
Wow, thats a great idea using peach heads for racists! Makes one hate them even more! No really, thats great! And just a small changes and there you have some Confederate troops!

Jeff Wayne - War of the Worlds - 02 - Horsell Common and the Heat Ray Btw, Alien Ant Farm version of Smooth Criminal is better than the original.

The weapons are a little oversized, but theyre still nice. Where did you get the name from? :-D

Just about anything octopus, cant say ways I dont like it.

My brother had this set, and its a good one! This is a quite believable vehicle for quickly raiding ships that comes too close to the pirate island. Even if its not the best (I think its predecessor is better) giving it a 1 or 2 is like saying that 4+ pirates are better.

Hehe, first I thought it was "headless Hordesman", scared me a bit. The body looks right in proportions to a human, but the orange part stands out... I would recommend dark red (symbolizing old dried blood) or black. Right now, he is not a Headless Horseman but a Holgg- a headless unmounted knight (though they prefer two-handed swords).

Welcome motorcross helmet! Enjoy your stay... FOREVER! :ninja:

Reminds me of the spiderman spoof in Full Metal Panic!; The spider-ninja against the octopus-samurai... :-D The transformer's name couldnt be more fitting; "Marveller" (you can actually hear them say Marveller out of their japanese). The translation isnt accurate however (some things it claims them to say is just too silly), but I doubt it matters if its accurate or not, its funny anyways. The duck-goons are by far the silliest minions of a badguy I have ever seen. :ninja: Examples of american series of similar goofiness (though this is hard to beat) is probably the old Batman series or Walker Texas Ranger.

Im so broke this year.

Nice little battlefield, though I wonder... Why are there robots on both sides? Didnt all AI go amok in the Exo-force story? Why is there a zombie on the robots side? Just wondering ;) The old space baseplate rocks, perfect for a battlefield. Envious!

I find none of these future predictions "shocking".

Yogurt: Hello! Hungry person: Die, you bacteria culture-ridden waste of matter, DIE! Yogurt: My eye, you hit me in the eye! Hungry person: I will eat you, limb for limb! Mwhahah! Please scientists, dont make this... On other hand, it will make evil people eat a more healthy breakfast... Not sure what to believe anymore. 2050? Heh, anything can happen till then... Not shocking at all. -
I believe an alternate leggings for Spongebob would be colored pirate peg-legs. Oh no, did I say that out loud? Goodbye extra brown pants!

Nice little tudor house! Looks realistic, but the map seems upside down and the roof could need those roof-top pieces, but since it seems you dont got any I think its pretty darn good. The inverted slopes are a nice addition to make the house's second floor larger is a nice addition, but I would recommend them being grey and a part of the first floor, I dont think Ive seen a tudor house sloped like that.

I think that it has to do with people having the large problem of the entire "us against them" thing that made people talk different languanges and wanted to keep themselves different to not be like "the scum on the other side", strong nationality means fanaticism, as we've seen in a numerous of cases including the (in no specific order) Third Reich, Soviet (though it failed to some extent), the US under the cold war, The british empire and now this situation, though its much larger than just a country this time. So, technically burning flags means removing the bonds. I cant see any other logical explaination. ;) But I agree on you fully on point 2, of what seems to be a popular claim is that they spread with email and then the news rapidly began to grow. If I remember right, they were published back in the autnumn of 2005, so news go quite slow down there, or it just took time for the imams in denmark, not sure which.

Okay, someone got this a little wrong from the start of the thread; Its satire drawings and pictures were talking about NOT a comic strip! Another piece of evidence of CNN's suckiness! Also, flag burning is laughable. A flag is just a piece of textile with a pattern. Oh my! The nice pattern is destroyed! I was actually thinking of doing a short film called "Lets piss everyone off" were I burn all the flags of the world for fun... A flag is just a useless symbol for a piece of earth anyways, just to make a destinction between us and them. These news has been raging on for like weeks now, and I as a swede find them not very intimidating since we have nothing to do with it even as it rages against us and propaganda that says that muslims are frowned upon here daily and satires like the ones mentioned... All that is crap and one that believes in it is an idiot- thats about it. Now, Islam is a religion much like our own, though its still on reformated and the middle east has so bad communication systems that american news in comparison can be seen as accurate. Im totally against that they let them be posted, since pictures of holy individuals are not allowed and Islam is like Judeism was before- a target for hatred, but I must say the entire protest raids has been laughable. A good person would take the excuse given and go on (like the swedish muslims has, but its becoming something more hilarious than something to be taken seriously. Terrorists arent Muslims, they are people who think they are, killing one self for a false goal is ridiculed in the Coran so I dont see their goal... People also mess up local traditions with the actual religion, too. Thats why we got this wierd westernese demonized version in our heads. We shouldnt react; if they cant even see the difference between a Norwegian minister and the Chief-director of Jyllands Posten they are completely out of reach. If they continue take more and more propaganda they'll be even more of a laughing stock... Theyll know soon enough. Dont fear terrorists- there is a larger chance that you get run over by a car. Finally, I must say its fun to see something so small can make a such a large crater. Now, lets make fun with Jesus and the Pope... ...Oh, already overdone. Enough already, lets get buildin' with the bricks again, shall we?

For once Im pretty interested in Bionicle. Those light-up parts (especially the gun-like things) may be useful for mechas, and the system figs are clearly much better this year!
