Series 1 and 2 minifigs for sale!

Hey, I have a few clones I dont really want, and particually need. whats your trade ratio, E.G. 1:1 2:1......
  5. Well, I'm 17 (sorry, I guess I'll get kicked out )and have just entered my first year of six form (post 16(year 12)) at school, most of my freinds know that I'm partial to the odd plastic brick . They've even bought me LEGO presents and such, it's my only source of bricks now-a-days, mum and dad are part of the "grow up" gang :hmpf_bad": Most of the people that matter in my life seem okay with it, only a few people think it's odd but hey; haters gonna hate.

    General Train questions.

Yeah Im a purist, which does make things harder . but in the way of boiler design im using a slightly changed version of savvatheaggie's boiler technique, should be fun to build. I've also changed the design of the windows, but I'm keeping that under wraps . but I plan for 3 coaches: 2 composite and 1 brake coach.

    General Train questions.

Yeah I'm aware with his holinesses work . I've quickly made up a 7 wide plate, but it was one gigantic headache so I think i'll save the paracetamol and go six wide . At the end of this endevour I would like it to look like this: whether it does or not.... well we'll just have to see! gondortoast

    General Train questions.

well it'll be normal tan, just out of convinience (the emerald night windows) . And I'm torn between 6 or 7 wide, the engines 6 (or will be 6) wide but i love the slightly more amount of detail you can get on 7 wides. but I have yet another question, what doe the LRTS sticker stand for? gondortoast p.s you have a nice username too.

    General Train questions.

Thanks for the speedy reply halfpenguihalflego (pretty awsome username too). I was thinking more a of blood and custard(yummy) style, as it would look good against the dark blue, contrast or something like that . Im not an expert on all of this powerfucntions jibberyjew but I think it could work, but like I said IM not an expert so dont hold me to it!

LEGO Doctor Who minifigs by Mr Spielbrick

Awsome as always "Mr Speilbrick", i must say im a bit of a fan. My only suggestions would be: for donnor: Hair: "princess" from the new kingdoms sets" head: http://www.bricklink.com/catalogItem.asp?P=3626bpb351 body: http://www.bricklink.com/catalogItem.asp?P=973pb602c01 legs: red legs, any red legs (I realise this doesnt exactly represent donna from any episode in particular but I find theres hardly any torsos that can represent cathrine tate ) As for martha, well.. thats a tricky one. seeing as lego hasn't realeasd any... erm (how do I put this) females of african decent, but you could try THISfor the torso? also I'm loving the "classic who" figs, but one niggle I have is with the Anthony Ainley figure, I dont really like the look of the torso, or rather the choice of torso, have you tried THIS? (excuse the giant bealt) also what about rory? At the moment I use THIS TORSO looking forward to seeing more dear Sir ( ) gondortoast

    Power Functions questions

Sorry to bring this thread up but i also have a few questions on PF's of my own: 1. Whats the bare minimum pieces of equipment I would need (I.E battery box etc.) 2. What are the dimensions of the pieces I would need. Its just an idea, but is it possible to have a pinned topic on "general train questions" rather than having to make new topics over and over again? many thanks Harry

    The Passing of Dan Jezek

my thoughts are with the family at this sad time. but could it not be said that Dan was if anything the true meaning of an AFOL? he did so much for his hobby aswell as many others in the same hobby as him. which is clear from all of these wonderful messages of support for his family and the beautiful eulogy. the lego world will never be the same with out you Dan, RIP

Emerald Night Coach interiors... What should each class be?

Depends on how you feel when you see them all together I suppose. look HERE and take a look at coopers 7 wide carriage, its a lot longer than the usual six wide, but think of all the lovely lavish details you could put in them, (especially being as they are pullman coaches )

Emerald Night Coach interiors... What should each class be?

Heck why not! It's always to have a nice variety in rolling stock. I myself am working on a train moc at the moment and im going to make several different types of GWR inspired rolling stock! Have you thought about making them 7 studs wide?
