No, Mata Nui gave all the pit mutants the ability to breath above water again at the end of Journey's End. Honest mistake though.

Yay!! While this new chapter of Sahmad's Tale is short, it had some cool scenes and a name for this new tentacled creature:

Yeah! I saw this on BZP. I actually mentioned it in the Bionicle topic even though it was kind of off-topic. I believe there's actually a place here for lego fan films so it would probably be best if it was there.
-
Alright sorry. Yeah...this topic is dying.
-
Hey I don't know if this is exactly on topic but I found this rather interesting Bionicle fan film on BZP. It is really quite amazing, I haven't seen any other Bionicle fan films like it. It's in French but it has English subtitles. View it here.

Bionicle has got to be one of the most difficult series to follow! Toa Lahka's got it covered though. The story serials are a little more violent though, just so that you are aware of this, Dark Mirror in particular.

Hmm interesting chapter.

I can't really decide, I don't know the locations well enough. It's too bad they didn't make a BMOLG.
-
Yeah the villain armor looks megablocky, but remember these are prototypes. The heroes on the other hand (which are probably much closer to what they will look like), while they do have a Neo machines shape to them, seem to include a much more intuitive build and the parts have this strong bold look that is only found in Lego. I don't really like the eye pieces though, but I'm sure you can remove them.
-
lol! I saw that! I don't know what's more disturbing, the fact that it bears a strong resemblance to Hero Factory or the fact that it came first.
-
Well at least this topic is active again.

What I think bothers me, and from what I can tell bothers Darth Vader, is that it plain out says that females are this and males are this. It's one thing to contain stereotypes and another to to go out and say they are true.
-
Wow that's quite the mouthful from you guys. It's not really that I find the explanation sexist, and more that I just find it sounding incredibly stupid. It just feels that Greg is making things up completely as he goes, all of a sudden made Orde a male and then is like,"Hmmmmm, how I am I going to explain this?" It doesn't sound well thought out at all. I know Greg has been known to improvise, but this just is terrible. The people on BZP are eating it up though.

Honestly if women could read thoughts, every one of us guys would be screwed.

I'm going to go with the second one.
