    Custom colorizing Lego

I am not the one who asked the question, FiletOFish did.

    Custom colorizing Lego

Lowes or Home Depot. I took in a Baseplate that I wanted LEGO dark green and they found me spray paint that matched.

    Custom colorizing Lego

Try using spray paint or an airbrush. A paint brush could work, but I think of all three, an airbrush would work best, due to the small size of the bricks.
  4. This has been said twice and is in the rules. Create a new topic for it.
  5. Create a new topic for it.
  6. I re-read the rules, so I know only one entry. Could I possibly PM you a picture of the Brick Built Robot? It is not the main character, just the main villain that would help represent said new theme. It would be nice though if LEGO were to make a theme with primarily brick-built creatures.
  7. I sure do hope not. I only have a few yellow heads, and am unsure about hands. But if I am able to make it brick built, I will be fine.
  8. This might have been in the rules and I skipped over it, and if so I apologize. I however would like to know if I am allowed more than one entry (doubt it, but would still like to know) and If I am allowed to make a brick built fig.

    Raid on the desert Santa

Blasphemy! Who really stole Christmas? Was it the Business Tusken, or KimT? Or were they in on this together, and the Tusken killed the Clone when all the work was done?

Some changes to the forum layout

I just want to be clear on this, where would I post my Halo MOCs? Sci-fi or Other themes? I used to post them in other themes, but now the description does not say 'Other non-theme specific MOCs.' Something with the initials CP....

    Raid on the desert Santa

What are you talking about? Santa's dead. We wont have any more Christmases. Unless of course the Tuskens bring presents on their Banthas. Remember to leave Uj cake and Jawa Juice.

    Ryloth Trilogy Trailer

What was the point of posting in this topic? The Ryloth trilogy happened months ago, we know how much action was in it. Come to think of it, you have posted in a lot of dead or OLD topics. What is the point of this?

    Decal Wish List

    Decal Wish List

Even though I have made decals in the past, I am struggling with one thing that I was desperately made. I would like a Mandolorian Neo-crusader decal. Image for reference of course. Thanks in advance.

    My new sigfig- revisited

He looks great. Are you working on a helmet for him? What are the little capsule like decals at the bottom of Mr. Mandy Lori Ann's leg decals?

    How to paint LEGO?

I know, Darth Legois, that you posted about a specific hair piece, but in general, if you are painting something small, I would recommend what UniqueBuilder posted - a small airbrush. If you want to paint something large one solid color (i.e. a baseplate), I would recommend a can of spray paint. I went to Walmart yesterday and bought some of the $1.12 cans for a baseplate, and it turned out nice and green.

    Sci-fi Captian

Not too bad for a first try. I like the rubber band technique, an old beauty that one is. A few pointers: Use decals instead of.... paint, and that applies mainly to torsos, as some legs, like my Marines posted a while back, need small details such as boots, so you could paint those on. That.....green thing, what is it? If you were trying to make a waist kama, LEGO has those that come with most sets with Clones, and Brickforge, I think, is releasing a softer one at Brickworld tomorrow. If you don't know how to make a decal, you can always check out the tutorials or request one in the Decal Wish List thread. Hope that you take those pointers to heart and let you next fig MOC be a great one.

    Star Wars Minifigs

I don't base my sets entirely on figs, however, I base my final observation on the figs. If it a hundred dollar set, and has but one fig (unless it's USC) chances are good that I won't buy it, unless it is on sale or essential to what I am building/ displaying at the time. As Imperialshadows said, Star Wars is a character based line aimed at kids, and most kids would want a small set that would be easy to build with a lot of figs rather than a large set that has two figs and a few thousand pieces. I personally like both, as most collectors would. Some people also prefer building armies over large, brick-built dioramas or displays. And let's face it - more detail seems to go into the Star Wars figs than most other figs, as that seems to have the most appeal. And what's not to be obsessed about a little Yoda with hair and Clone Troopers with actual faces under their helmets. Note: I think I lost my point or rambled in there somewhere.

    Tantive IV MOC, not mine!

Simply stunning, as well as the rest of his work. The details, the colors, the texture, it's just a beautiful piece of art. In reality, the difficulty of some of the huge MOCs lies within one budget and time and pieces. If one has the money and the pieces, they too, could achieve something great as well. There is also the patience and skill level. You have to have some skill, yes, to know techniques, and you also have to have a great amount of patience. This guy clearly has all of the required assets and has used them quite nicely.

    Lego Gone Wild!

I watched it again, and I laughed my self silly, if thats possible. It's not as so no, but it is still a little disturbing. Funny and disturbing.

Not uncomfortable, just a little wierded out.

    [MOC] Corporate Alliance Tank Droid

These are really good, but to me the front 'legs' seem a little to long. This could possibly be fixed by raising the center discs up and moving them a tad bit forward. But other than that, great job

    The Twilight Saga

The figs are good, however I don't care much for the series. This isn't about the series, so great work.

He lives in Coventry, according to his last post. And it's June 9 and you still haven't had light to take pictures?
