I don't remember where, but I'm fairly certain KimT said that there wouldn't be another contest until the end of the summer.

Good. But even trying with a camera phone...

Ahhh... I guess there's still hope that TLC can break of their tradition and go 2 years of PT in a row! Can't really say that Cold Assault Troopers would make me that happy though.

Wayyyy too blurry pics. Couldn't really see anything but a red ninja.

The BPs are okay... The Tri-Fighter better be built better than the last one... The TIE Defender owns... :skull: And the ARC-170 Starfighter is better! Will have to see on the Landspeeder though... Music to my ears!... PS: Jedi On! :skull: BTW, Is it confirmed which side the rebel BP is on on the reference pics?

I agree with Athos. It is rather plain, but can be beefed up to look a whole lot better.

Little Arms Shop - opinions? Thoughts?
Commander Assassin posted a topic in Minifig Customisation Workshop
I am currently waiting for a $30+ order, and was told that it would take ≈3 weeks to receive it. Could anybody who has received weapons from them before tell me how their quality compares to Brickarms and Lego? Also, does anyone know why the Little Armory space weapons look exactly like Little Arms Shop weapons? Answered by me two posts under. -
That'd be nice. Ever since the AT-TE came out, I've wanted a blue CIS STAP in a cheap set.

Hey, if you go to page 2 of the MCW topics, and scroll down to the middle of the page to the topic talking about the opinions and thoughts of The Little Arms Shop, I'd be happy to let you resurrect it! (or you can just click here. ) -
$100+ USD bets online! I love this site! BTW, is this legal?!

I feel for you. (off topic) Once I opened a topic for people to say what they thought of the quality of The Little Arms Shop. No one who posted in the topic (2 to be exact) actually had one of their weapons.(on topic ) Still, I read The MCW's topics just about as much as I read the Star Wars topics, and I think that would be a more appropriate place for your custom minifig. -
I don't think there should be any argument over this. Of course they've improved! The first snowspeeder was grey! The first Sith Infiltrator looked like a pile of bricks! I don't even think I have to mention the Jabba's Palace Leia disaster! There is no reason anyone should think that the above sets and minifigs are better than today's!

I agree. Nice custom, but this should be posted in the MCW forum. -
What other SW "Battle Packs" would you like to see?
Commander Assassin replied to BearHeart's topic in LEGO Star Wars
Don't worry. I couldn't care less about ewoks either. I prefer clones and stormies. -

I have already posted these thoughts in the Future Star Wars Sets forum before I knew there was a more appropriate forum. So here they are: A great idea i have been thinking about are $20 USD battlepacks. I know that it's argumentable if TLG has already done that with 7670, 7748, and 7749, but I want ones with twice as many minifigs as the previous battlepacks and maybe more vehicles. These are my ideas. Ep. III Clone Deluxe Battlepack: AT-RT, Gunner Turret (AT-RT driver, Kashyyyk Trooper x3, 41st phase II trooper x2, 41st Heavy trooper) Ep. III Droid Deluxe Battlepack: CIS Troop Carrier, Crab Droid, Droideka x2 (Battle Droid x4, Battle Droid Commander, SBD x4) I have also been toying with the idea of TLG releasing a few exclusive battlepacks, based off of the award winning Battle Front II video game. $10 USD BF II Clone Battlepack: AT-RT, 1/2 Med Droid (Clone Commander, Clone Jet Trooper, Clone Pilot, Clone Heavy Trooper) $10 USD BF II Droid Battlepack: Vulture Droid, other 1/2 Med Droid (Droideka, Battle Droid x2, Magna Guard, SBD x2) $10 USD BF II Rebel Battlepack: Gunner Turret, 1/2 Ammo Droid (Rebel Marksman, Rebel Soldier, Rebel Pilot, Rebel Vanguard) $10 USD BF II Imperial Battlepack: Speeder Bike x2, other 1/2 Ammo Droid (Stormtrooper, Shock trooper, Imperial Engineer, Darktrooper) -

I own both, and prefer the jungle duel to the motorcycle chase. The motorcycle chase seemed a little boring with only two motorcycles and an unneeded gate. The jungle duel set was IMO, one of my favorite $10 USD sets, other than Freeze Ray Frenzy, and the first 4 SW battlepacks. The reason I liked it so much was because it was a cheap way to get Irina, and it came with TONS of bladed weapons and extras. That's my thoughts.

I agree that Indy may be a dying license, but Lego SW: TCS had what, maybe two more levels than Lego SW I & II combined? I see a possibly distinct possibility that the fire in the license is going out, but I don't think it's for sure yet.

What's the "Atlantic" thing? Maybe I just missed that somewhere....

Little Arms Shop - opinions? Thoughts?
Commander Assassin replied to Commander Assassin's topic in Minifig Customisation Workshop
I received my Little Arms Shop order today, and am quite pleased with the quality and shipping time. It only took 4 days to reach my house instead of the 3 weeks suggested by the L.A.S. Here you can read the full story of L.A. and The Little Arms Shop, posted by none other than "The Little Arms Shop". -
That is too cool! Nice work MrTools. I am hoping that you may be able to make a Death Star diorama....

I remember, at least for 2008 that the product list came out early July 2007. Should we be expecting more news soon, or is the time confirmed to a later date?

I'd love to see some elves! If we're not going to get a LotR license any time soon, then we might as well "copy" them like we did to Indiana Jones with Adventurers. And look where that got us! We now have a Flying wing and the Temple of Doom!

Ha Ha! Poor Hinkley... Great job Black Rabbit!
